Prologue

In a dark alleyway, a man was being chased or rather... hunted by someone.

*trips*

"Argh!" The man groaned as he fell on the floor.

The man looked back and saw a shadow silhouette with a red eye. "W-wait! Pl-please! I'm sorry! I won't do it again!" The man pleaded while snakingly crawling to try and get away from the shadow silhouette. 

However, the silhouette didn't care the man's pleas and kept walking closer emitting a murderous aura around it.

The man looked up and saw a dead and turned around to see the silhouette gone.

"D-did he leave?" The man thought and blinked. Unfortunately, contradicting to his thoughts, a sharp pain was felt on his throat.

*splat* Blood was dripping on the floor and man was holding his throat, as he tried to yell out in pain, but to no avail he couldn't.

The only thing he could do was looked at the silhouette in front of him and saw the face of a person with white hair, a mask covering his mouth, and with black eyes. However, one of the black eyes was different from the other, it had a somewhat a shape of a red star in the middle.

And that was the last thing he saw, before being stabbed in the heart as his body fell to the ground.

The assassin quickly disappeared as he heard footsteps and voices heading towards the alleyway.

"Another one, off the list." The assassin crossed out the name of the man he just killed on his book. "Now then, what can I do for you... the boss of Night Raid?"
