<<Well, this was a wonderful distraction,>> Zhen Wang said as he dropped a few coins on the bar counter and got up from his seat,<<That should be enough to cover the cost of shots you poured me and a little extra for yourself.>>
Once he was out of his seat and back on his feet, Zhen Wang turned towards Zhen Shi, cupped his hands and did a small bow.
<<Thank you for sharing with me a bottle of cactus wine, and listening to the ramblings an old man. Now, I must be on my way.>>
<<Don't mention, old friend. Happy stampeding.>>
<<Hah! Local vernacular. How fun.>>
Zhen Shi watched as Zhen Wang exited the tavern via the front door, a surprisingly straightforward route for any would-be killer or agent of vengeance...then again, it did fit the memories Zhen Shi had of the man.
'Straightforward and bloodthirsty...the worst combination to fucking deal with,' Zhen Shi mused.
