LIE's POV

She is currently walking inside Morgan hospital. It's her first day as a doctor. She took big steps for she was shaken to see the faces of those Jude assigned bodyguards for her. It was a long long debate that happened between them about having these bodyguards that in the end, she was still the loser. He said that he just had a word of honor upon saying that he is going to protect her, that she is now his responsibility. So, as a result, six wrestlers are tailing her. So creepy. She's just grateful that they're not in a black uniform, they dressed like just normal people, or else they might be mistaken to be villains from another planet.

He said if she doesn't allow bodyguards, she shouldn't expect to have a job for he will fire me from the hospital right away. Who is he to fire her? What a thick face. He's an ugly monkey, Yes he's a monkey again. Gorilla.

Shine is with Nanay Dolor, at Gorilla's house. We have also brought the couple, back here so that Shine can have someone at home whenever they have a job. Lynne just laughed. And she is really happy huh. The witch even beat her shoulder adding pain to it. She winced. She pulled her into the elevator.

"Best, where were you yesterday ?. You didn't even visit me."Grumpy?

If she's not mistaken, she just wants to bite her. Is pregnancy like that? Just so weird.

"Shush you! stop it best, you just want to bite me that's why." she teased. She poked the side of her waist. She is so sensitive and pregnant. She needs to be an understanding best friend.

"Where were you really?" she said pouting her lips. Tsk, this pregnant woman.

"Just something came up," she answered not planning to elaborate further.

"So, who did you bite yesterday?" she asked her.

Lynne laughed at her question.

"Who else but Grant, he can't see you."

And this witch looked for her. If only her friend knew her situation now. She is sure Lynne would swell.

"Best, don't you think you're carrying a vampire in your tummy?" she joked. She wants to bite the most, if you don't allow her to bite you she will cry out loud as if she had failed seven times throughout her life.

"You're so full of abnormality, vampire bite on the neck and not on the shoulder... Uhhh I hope not." they looked at each other and ended laughing together.

When they were inside the elevator she hit the 3rd floor of the hospital. That's where their heart doctors' offices are. According to Lynne, her office is just next to hers, and she also has her secretary. Her friend has processed everything including her papers. All she did was take an exam and do an interview and then she was immediately accepted.

Like her, Lynne is also a Cardiovascular Surgeon. She just didn't work right away because she wanted to stay longer as an Agent. It was as if she wanted to find something she couldn't find. Whenever their every mission ended, it was as if something was stuck in her mind that she couldn't figure out what.

When they got to the 3rd floor she was immediately pulled by her friend.

"Wait, take it easy Best, no one is chasing us. " when she pulls her, she doesn't seem pregnant.

"Best !, here it is !, Welcome to your new Office"

She smiled.

"Thank you Best" she hugged her. Her friend was with her through thick and thin.

"Hey, what are you, we're more than friends, aren't we, it's just the navel that doesn't connect us."

"So you didn't resign from the agency if I didn't resign too?"

"Of course"

"Even if your husband seems to be fainting from worry?" she insisted.

"Of course."

"It's up to him," she pouted her lips then laughed.

She laughed too.

"You and your stubbornness. Such a hard-headed. Tsk. " she uttered.

"Why, is that head of yours, soft?" her philosophical response.

They laughed again.

She turned the Doorknob of the office and the two of them entered. She was amazed at the ambiance of the office. The equipment is complete. There is also a coat for her. She suddenly got excited to wear it. She approached it and put it on immediately.

"Best, I feel like I am a doctor," she says.

"You're the best abnormal ever, of course, you're a doctor. We being an agent is the ingredients to achieving this. But I also love that job of ours. If we don't just have to resign, I won't resign. " Lynne said sadly.

"You are a witch best, I don't need to resign. It's just you, this witch, you just dragged me to resign." She sighed.

Lynne just laughed at what she said and waved a sign of peace.

She can still remember Grant's sentiments. Her best friend didn't seem to leave her at the agency. So this is what happened. She was able to enter and work at their hospital without difficulty. But she still went through the same process as other applicants. She also passed the assessment, exam, and interviews. She and Lynne work hard for this profession, they were burning the midnight candles just to get high scores in each of their exams until their last exam, the Board Exam.

She took off her coat and placed it on the swivel chair that was there.

"Best?" her friend asked.

"Hmm?"

"What happened to your arms?"

She suddenly looked at her arms. She forgot that she still had a scratch on the side of her elbow towards her little finger. This was the result of her collision with Gorilla's bumper.

"Ah, it's nothing best, I slipped during our last mission and my arms touched the ground to support," she explained.

"Oh, is that so, is your slipping also caused the wound at the side of your forehead ?"

OH, she is so dead right now. How did she forget that her friend has a cat-like eye? Lynne can easily notice anything even so little things.

"Ah, it's because of the small stone that hit the side of my forehead and I wasn't able to avoid it." That's the truth except for the first question she answers.

"Hmm," Lynne hummed like an Agent thinking of something.

"Is there something you left to say?"

She became silent. She knew her very well. Whenever she was silent, check! She hit it. She really can't hide anything from this woman.

"Would you mind telling me Best?" Lynne asked. Will she tell her what happens?

"Sure Best but not now, I think? " she answered.

"Why?" her forehead frowns.

She pointed her finger at the wall where the wall clock is hanging. "It's time to work or else I will be fired out on the very first day of my duty," she said then chuckled.

"How can you be so abnormal, you're just avoiding it," she complained.

"And you are a Witch." she fights back. "We have a lot of time. We can talk about it at lunchtime or break time. Or during our off, I will tell you, I promise". She assured her.

"Okay." Lynne's said while rolling her eyeballs which she just ignored.

"So, I will go back to my office, if you need anything, just wire me okay." her friend said. She hugs her. They're hugging each other.

"Ouuuccchhhh!!!" She cried out loud in pain. She was not prepared. She has bitten again.

If she can request a dangerous alarm every time her best friend get near her, she will do. For her to prepare and wear metals all over her body.

Her friend witch just lough.

"I'm sorry best, I love biting you," she said chuckling.

"See best it's now even. Both sides."

Yes, Lynne did bite her on the other shoulder. This wicked witch, she did it to make her shoulder even. She's so kind, right? Note the sarcasm, please.

"You are a sadist best, I'll tell Grant to leave you, you are so annoying," she said annoyed while touching her shoulder which was bitten.

If only she is not pregnant. Never will she allow her to do it. She wants to bite her too.

"Bye Bestfriend !!," Lynne said.

"Any moment your secretary will be here."

Then Lynne leaves the room while she on the other hand heave a deep sigh. Her first as a doctor yet she became a victim of a bite.
