Chapter 7: Bath Time! (Cliche Time!)

Liam decided to get some sleep as he laid down and closed his eyes. When he awoke the next morning, he was greeted by two maids who were in the process of cleaning his room.

"G-good morning, master." They said in unison as Liam sat up.

"Morning." He said without much emotion in his voice, causing both maids to flinch.

"I-I'm sorry if we awoke you." One maid said.

"You didn't, don't worry. Even if you did, not much use in worrying about it." He said with the same tone as earlier.

'R-right..." They said as they nervously continued their job. Once they finished cleaning off the surfaces of the room, they took their leave, and in their place came a maid with a plate of food. The maid kept a light smile and dressed in a much lighter outfit than the others.

'Why is she only wearing panties and a dress shirt?' Liam asked himself as the maid placed the food on the nightstand by Liam's bed.

"Please enjoy the meal. Or would you prefer me?" She asked. Liam looked at her. The dress shirt is slightly transparent, allowing him to see her pink nipples, and the panties are of a nice laced variety.

"Tell me, do you actually want me to, and if not, then why are you doing this?" Liam demanded.

"I do not wish to, however, I wish to be kept in your good graces, so I have decided to do this." She said. After a moment, she realized what she said, then covered her mouth. "M-my apologies, I haven't any idea what possessed me to say that." She said. Liam sighed.

"You will not be mistreated her so long as I am around. Leave the food and go. If you do not wish to partake in such an act, then I do not wish to force you to." Liam said coldly. 'Admittedly, I do want to bang her, but... Yeah...' Liam thought.

"A-as you wish, master." She said slightly dejectedly. Liam decided to eat since the servants went through the trouble of making it, despite not actually needing to eat. After he finished his food, Liam stood up and left his room, going to the bath. Liam ensured that the house had a bathing area before he moved in as he wanted to ensure both he and his servants remained clean.

"Julianna." Liam said. After a moment, Julianna teleported to him.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Is there anybody in the bath or in need of one?" He asked.

"I would assume the slaves all need one, but nobody is currently in there. Why?" Julianna responded.

"I was planning on taking one, after I get out, ensure that each of the servants gets one and are given new clothes, both work attire and casual." Liam ordered.

"I will ensure that it is so. Though, I am curious as to why you denied Kenna, after all, she fits your type specifications quite well." Julianna said.

"So you were the one behind that, or were you just watching?" Liam asked. Julianna flinched after hearing this.

"I was n- was no- was watching. Damnit..." Julianna said as she slumped over in embarrassment. "Look, it's not like I wanted to see you have sex or anything, I was just wondering if you would still keep your high and mighty idea of not forcing slaves." Julianna said.

"Julianna." Liam said. She looked at Liam.

"Hm?" She said to show that he caught her attention.

"I never said you wanted to see that." Liam said. Once again, Julianna flinched, as if signifying she was caught in the act of doing something she didn't want anyone to know about.

'Damn this guy! Why does he actually pay attention to the words people say!?!?' She thought to herself as she became embarrassed. "I just wanted to clarify in case you thought so!" She said loudly and embarrassedly.

"Right, right. Anyway, I've decided on what I want to do next." Liam said. Julianna calmed down a bit as she transferred her state of mind to the next topic at hand.

"And what would that be?" She asked.

"I want to take over the economy, then the country." Liam said.

"Heh? Come again?" She asked in confusion.

"You heard me correctly." He said.

"But, why? Like, what's the point?" She asked.

"Amusement, I guess... Well, for now, I'm going to focus on raising my stats and levels to ensure I am strong enough to maintain such a position, so that's still a ways off from now." Liam added.

"Right..." She said as she thought a bit. "Like that makes it any better! Why would you take over a country just because you're bored!?" She asked angrily.

"In hopes that..." Liam mumbled as he decided to scrap the sentence. "Because nothing else is entertaining? I don't know." Liam said. Julianna sighed.

"Look, I know I can't convince you of not doing this so I won't, just don't make any drastic changes at the start, 'kay?" She asked.

"Maybe, I suppose it depends on what is happening at that moment in time." Liam said.

"Yeah, I suppose that's fair..." Julianna said, knowing that was the best compromise she was gonna get. Soon enough, the two reached the bath and Liam entered into it while Julianna went to talk with the servants.

The bath is the size of a large hot spring and is cleaned automatically due to magic that Liam had Julianna imbue the bath with. It automatically cleans the water, the bath itself, and the bath's contents, including people. It also gets rid of body odor and can replace said scent with other smells, of the individual's choice.

After Liam exited the bath, Julianna had half of the female servants bathe at a time, then had all of the male servants bathe afterward. After all of the servants bathed, Julianna hopped into the bath to think.

'That guy is seriously strange. He constantly says he wants sex, then denies the first opportunities he has to do it. What is his story to make him be so confusing?' She asked herself as she leaned back against the wall of the bath, exposing her breasts.

"I see... Then will he...?" She began to ask but hesitated.

"Oh, no. He seems to be against such a thing, though I don't know why because he clearly wants sex, but whatever." Julianna said.

"If you ever have any questions, Maya, feel free to ask me, I'm more than willing to help." Julianna said.

"Then... One more question..." Maya said. "Is he interested in little girls like myself?" She asked. Julianna laughed again.

"You could have phrased that better, but he does seem to like small breasts more than bigger ones. I'm not sure what he thinks of age gaps, but I'd recommend waiting until you are at least sixteen for something like that, though eighteen would be best." Julianna said.

"Right, thank you, Julianna, though I am already seventeen, I'm a dwarf." Maya said with a laugh.

The next day around noon.

Julianna was talking with the servants, getting to know all of them, who they are, what they are, and where they specialize when suddenly, a feeling of shock hits her. 'Yue is dead?' She thought to herself as she pulled Yue's soul into the middle of life and death, the meeting place.

Julianna quickly went to speak with Liam. "Liam, let me in, we need to talk!" She yelled.

"Yeah, yeah, one moment." He said as he got out of his bed. 'I seem to have gotten worse about being lazy now that I have this estate...' Liam thought to himself. Liam opened his door where a frantic Julianna greeted him.

"Yue died." She said the moment the door opened. Surprised, Liam took a step back.

"I heavily doubt that, what could've happened?" Liam thought aloud.

"I don't know, I'm going to go meet with her and see what happened, I'll keep you informed and if necessary I'll bring you into the meeting area." Julianna said. Julianna left and entered the meeting place. "Welcome, mortal, to the place between life and death." She said with a smile.

Yue looked down with a dead look inside her eyes. "Even death isn't simple..." She said without emotion.

"Um... Unfortunately, I cannot see what your cause of death was, so-" Julianna was quickly interrupted.

"Suicide." Yue said bluntly.

"I-I see. And why was it that you-" Julianna was interrupted again.

"A close friend died." She said with a hint of sadness.

"I see..." Julianna took on a more serious tone. "Do you want to be with him again?" Julianna asked. Yue looked up in shock.

"Wh-what do you mean!? You're saying I can see him in the afterlife!?" Yue sprung to life with emotion after Julianna asked her question.

"Not the afterlife, another world. He was put into another world." She said.

"Please, I'm willing to do anything, even sell my soul!" Yue screamed desperately. Julianna became shocked.

"No need to go that far, I can bring you there without a price, just give me a moment." Julianna said. 'What is with this girl? Didn't Liam say something about them not having anything going on?' Julianna asked herself. "I just need to clarify a few things with my boss." She said as she vanished.

Julianna appeared in front of Liam. "I believe it would be best for her to tell you what happened, do you want me to bring her directly here?" She asked. Liam nodded. Julianna went back to limbo.

"Everything has been clarified, you wish to go to the same world as him, yes?" Julianna asked. Yue began to nod frantically.

"Yes! Yes, please do that!" Yue yelled as tears welled up in her eyes. After a few moments, she was teleported in front of Liam. "Oh my god, Liam, you're here, you... You're okay..." She said as she began crying. Yue lunged at Liam and hugged him.

"Yeah, been a bit, hasn't it?" Liam asked as he wrapped his arms around her.

"Why did you have to die so suddenly? I... I can't handle things like that..." She said.

"I know, I'm sorry." He said. "Anyway, how'd you die?" Liam asked. Yue flinched. She loosened her hold on Liam, then stepped back.

"I... I, y'know... It wasn't pretty, you wouldn't want to hear the details." Yue attempted to avoid the subject.

"Then don't tell me the details, give me a synopsis." Liam said. Yue clicked her tongue.

"Damnit, that never works." Yue said as she looked at the floor. "I... I committed suicide, okay!?" She said quickly, trying to avoid him hearing her.

"Why? was it painful? are you alright?" Liam asked. Yue stopped her tears.

"I'm fine, it was mostly painless, the neck-snapping was the only painful part and it only lasted a moment... Anyway, as for the reason..." Yue paused and thought about whether or not to tell him.

"She's in love with you, are you an idiot or something?" Julianna asked.

"No one asked you!" Yue shifter her position to look at Julianna and yelled at her. "Wait, you're the person from-" Yue was interrupted.

"Yeah, I'm his servant now." She responded.

"Wait, why?" Yue asked.

"Because he's a greedy fucker!" Julianna yelled.

"She's a goddess and has useful abilities." Liam interjected. "Anyway, I want to hear the reason from you, she's not all-knowing, so I don't know if that is the reason," Liam explained. Yue turned to face Liam.

"Erm... Yeah... About that... She was right... I... I fell in love with you a long time ago, and when you left so suddenly, I... I... I didn't know what to do... I was so sad, and I felt hopeless, so..." Yue tried to explain the situation, but couldn't find the right words as she began to blush more and more.

"Hey, don't worry about explaining it all at once, alright?" Liam asked.

"O-okay..." Yue said. "Uhm... Would you mind responding to my confession?" Yue asked.

"Oh... That... I... I don't know..." Liam said.

"What do you mean?" Yue asked.

"I don't really know how I feel... That gauge... It's hard to read." Liam said. "Remember back during summer, you were sixteen at the time, it broke around then." Liam explained.

"Oh... I remember that... After you came back, you weren't the same... It still... Even now it is still-" Yue was interrupted.

"Yeah. Anyway, Julianna, please show her around." Liam said. Julianna nodded and quite nearly dragged Yue away. Yue, of course, attempted to fight against it to stay around Liam.

'It really has been a while since then... I wonder if James still blames me as much as I blame myself...' Liam wondered. 'Did he even attend my funeral? I doubt it.' He thought.

A few hours later, Yue and Julianna came back to Liam's room. "Liam~!" Yue said happily as she grabbed his arm. Liam looked at Julianna, who seemed worn out.

"What happened?" Liam asked.

"I said that she would probably be staying in a room nearby to this one, but she got angry and said she wanted to sleep in your room..." Julianna said.

"I will never let go of you again, not after what happened before!" Yue said with an annoyed tone. Liam sighed.

"What if I do perverted things to you?" Liam asked.

"That's fine! In fact, I wouldn't mind if you did it now." Yue said.

"You know, you've become much bolder." Liam said.

"That's because I have learned that you never know when something may happen, so you have to live to the fullest!" Yue said. Liam sighed, again.

"Fine, you can stay in here for tonight, but we will be figuring out your permanent room tomorrow, okay?" Liam suggested.

"Alright~!" Yue said excitedly. Julianna made a few sets of clothes for Yue and placed them on the nightstand.

"I'll take my leave." Julianna said as she left. Yue let go of Liam and took a step back.

"I wasn't joking back then either, by the way." She said. Liam gave her a confused expression. "On the day you died. I didn't mind if you looked at me pervertedly." Yue said. "Even now..." She said as she began to take her arm out of her sleeve. "Liam. Will you please take my first time?" Yue asked. Liam placed his hand on Yue's cheek in a loving way, then leaned in and kissed her.

"Only if that is what you truly desire for me to do." Liam said. Yue quickly took off her shirt, exposing her bare breasts. Her nipples are light pink, matching the pale skin that she inherited from her mixed heritage.
