The Merchant III

Nemo whistled in appreciation while lying down on a highly camouflaged location near the grand tree arena. He was alone and dressed in everyday Kimono colored purple.

On his lap is his fire-type Johto starter pokemon, Cyndaquil. The fire-mouse pokemon snuggled on his lap comfortably while he observed the glowing Pokemon on the arena leisurely.

"Cy?" The fire-mouse Pokemon looked at his trainer.

Noticing his Pokemon's look, the young man nodded and rubbed its fur.

"Do you think He can satisfy you?" He said as a red figure on the other branch watched with him. The sounds of something snapping shut once made the merchant smile.

"I see. We can challenge this lord later. We need to make sure that the Faller don't die." He said as a pair of red eyes snapped open before closing. "But, it seems like we don't have to wait." The Merchant smiled as he took a pair of Pokeballs and returned the red figure and the one hidden in the shadows.

Hiding them away in his Satchel, the young merchant smiled while pulling out another Pokeball.

"You better hold on tight, little one." He told the firestarter as he put him on his shoulder. Throwing the ball up to the air with one swift motion, the merchant smiled as he looked at the Pokemon.

It is a purple, bat-like Pokémon with a small, round body. It has long, pointed ears, yellow eyes with red pupils, and a small mouth that usually has its teeth bared. On its body are two pairs of wings: an upper pair that is slightly larger and a lower pair that developed from its hind legs. Both pairs have green-blue membranes, but the lower pair's membranes are only visible from the back. The upper wings have two claw-like fingers near the middle. On the bottom of its body are what appear to be a pair of stubby feet or tufts of fur.

It was big, bigger than a regular=sized species of its kind. Its Red eyes scanned the area before it paused and flew towards the merchant, nuzzling his cheek with its large body.

"I know Ven," He said with a smile, "I need you to search around for a girl wearing the Galaxy team Survey Corps uniform with a white bandana around her neck. Will you do that for me?"

Hearing the merchant's request, the bat Pokemon nodded and flew to the sky quickly. It was fast and Nemo was confident.

Before he can react, the fire-mouse pokemon jumped from his shoulder and let out a stream of flames towards a black and red blur. Looking towards it, the merchant hummed.

His attacker is a bipedal Pokémon with a pale, gray body that resembles both a cat and a weasel. It has a bright red crown and collar made of wide feathers and a single, thinner feather on each ear. The ear feathers are smaller on a female Weavile. Weavile has two tail feathers and three claws on each paw. There is a yellow, oval marking in the center of its forehead. Its eyes are red with three eyelashes, and four fangs protrude from its upper jaw.

'A Weavile huh?' He thought as he looked at it. It was alone and it was damaged from Pyrrhus' attack.

"Pyr, Quick attack and end it with a point-blank flame thrower."

The Weavile jus smirked and charged ahead, its claws glowing brightly.

'Slash, huh? Not bad.' He thought but he knew how it would end.

Pyrrhus' body glowed before it disappeared and smashed its body on the sharp claw pokemon pushing it off the ground for a split second but it was enough. A stream of hot flames aimed up towards the Dark-type in the air engulfed it.

Screams of pain erupted from the flames before they died down.

The Weavile panted heavily as it barely stopped itself from fainting. It looked up only to pause when it felt something hit its head. A bright glow surrounded the sharp claw pokemon and it disappeared into the ball.

The young man hummed as he walked towards the Pokeball and put it on his Satchel. Well, A new addition to his Hisui... no. This one is not one he will train.

His Hisui team was going nicely.

He only has two for his Hisui team.

Pyrrhus the Cyndaquil

and Ajax.

Smiling as he walked with Pyrrhus, the young man looked at his approaching Crobat, Ventus.

"Where is she?" he asked while gently rubbing the bat's head. Flying on a set of its wings, Ventus pointed towards the road connecting itself to the Grand tree arena. "Thanks, bud." Taking Ventus' Pokeball out, the bat pokemon shook its head and looked at him.

"I see. Fine, but don't show yourself." He said with a smile while the bat pokemon nodded and flew away from view. Chuckling at his pokemon's antics, the young merchant walked ahead, the fire-type pokemon by his side.

Spotting the familiar blue uniform of the new member of the Survey Corps, the enigmatic merchant smiled.

"Alola~" He greeted warmly as he approached her.

"Nemo! Where were you? The guards said you went ahead and just left me a note!" Akari shouted in distress and she was right. Hisui was dangerous and it was not like Alola after all. Well, the Alola before everything went to hell.

"No sweat! Come on! You're pearly white and pink warden is waiting for your help." He said with a smile as he walked ahead of her.

"Wait, Nemo!" Akari called out as she ran after him. Pyrrhus the Cyndaquil walking alongside his trainer.

"Sheesh, I'm fine Akari." He told her with a smile as he looked around. It was a beautiful place.

"But, you only have a Cyndaquil?" She said as she looked at him.

"Oh? I admit that I only have Cyndaquil with me now, but I assure you, I am not alone." He said with a smile, a purple blur catching his attention for a moment.

"Are you sure?" She asked, the only reason she was confident was that she had her team with her. And she was skilled enough to train and command them in battle.

"Yup. Besides, we have a bug to visit." He said with a smile while walking ahead of her.

Arriving at the entrance of the arena, the two stopped walking at the sight of a boy wearing a white hat and uniform with pink designs.

"I'm Lian of the pearl clan. The warden to Kleavor, lord of the woods." The boy, Lian, introduced himself proudly. "And you- I've already deduced that you two have come here to meet Kleavor. I'm right aren't I."

'Sharp kid.' The merchant thought as he picked up Pyrrhus and put it on him on his shoulder.

"Of course I am! I can see it so clearly. After all, the powerfully awesome Kleavor has become even more awesomely powerful! Perhaps that strange lightning the other day was almighty Sinnoh's divine power... but whatever it was it struck my lord and imbued him with awesome might! So I must turn you away, even if it pains me. It is too dangerous for you to meet Kleavor right now." Lian said and the merchant nodded.

'True, the powered-up Kleavor will be more dangerous to the people it does not know.'

"I'll do anything!" Akari announced with a determined glow on the eyes and Nemo could see the way how Lian the fanboy's eyes widened and how his mouth opened wide

'A fanboy, alright.' He thought as he scratched Pyrrhus' chin.

"Same here!" Nemo said as he looked at the warden. "Although my reasons are different than Akari's, our goals align."

"Oh! Such earnest desire to meet mighty Kleavor! I have to admit I'm struck by your passion... But... well... I'm afraid your passion is not the real issue here... I've been told in no uncertain terms by Irida that I am to let no one near Kleavor!"

'Oh? Interesting.' Nemo thought as he zoned out and walked to the side to watch the two battle. 'A Goomy? Interesting. If trained well and raised right, it will be a force to be reckoned with.' Hiding behind a tree, Nemo smiled as he pulled out a small rectangular object with a white case.

'The descendants of legend,' The message read.

'Investigate with the chosen the reason why the lords are running amok,'

Pushing the object several times, he smiled as a Pokeball appeared in his hand.

'If this is how it is, then I guess I can just accompany her, while not using my main team unless in battles.' The merchant thought as he looked at a familiar purple bat on a tree near where he is.

"I always wanted to raise a dragon-type Pseudo legendary." He said as he looked at his Arcphone before hiding it away.
