Just learning... again

On getting to his dorm room, he discovered that he would be sharing his room with three other students.

However, none of them were in the room

So as soon as he settled in his stuff, which wasn't even much as it was one bag of clothes and his almost condemned phone, then he rushed off to the Crimson Academy library

"Bob may know Vampires due to that weird Vampire love story he was reading, but no one knows anyone like they know themselves"

Getting there, he scanned around on all the bookshelves until he found a mysterious one

"Dhampir; Facts, information... AND HOW TO KILL THEM?!!"

Long story short, Xavian had read through the ominous book.

His system commended him for it with a notification

With a smirk, he went over the main points he had gotten.

First was that there were two types of Dhampir. One were actually just half human/half vampire hybrids.

They were usually just turned people who failed to become full vampires and as such, had most of the vampire perks and were usually called halflings, or daywalkers and the other were a separate race, but still were half human.

Second, was that the Dhampirs were natural enemies to the vampires as they both had the urge to kill each other on something called a blood moon and as soon as one was discovered, they would immediately be put down.

This scared Xavian as he knew if he was discovered, he was done for.

Third, was that a Dhampir had two cores, a human core, and a vampire core.

Since none of the two were complete, they were weaker than a vampire by a bit.

'thats probably why I have two cores and failed all the tests, I wonder if I could ever get as strong as a full vampire though'

He was getting ready to leave, when he noticed a tab he had left unread in his system notification bar.

His lips curled into a small smile

'So there is room to grow after all'

It read:

[BloodCore: 0/100]

[ManaCore: 0/100]

If BloodCore meant his Vampire core, then Mana core would mean his Human core.

'It's really odd how no one has ever found out about their ManaCore, not even doctors, I wonder how I can fill this bars though'

Another beep resounded within his head as he saw another notification

[You can increase the bars by Consuming blood

Human blood= +1 Mana Core point

Vampire blood= +1 Blood Core point

Each point increases the proficiency and power of it's respective core]

Max had told Xavian that vampires do not drink the blood of fellow vampires, but his system was telling him to do just that!

That wasn't the worrying thing though as below the words, a counter was ticking

[On a blood moon, you will be required to kill one Vampire to sustain yourself]

[All stats and skills increase by 50% on a blood moon]

'This is bad... Very, Very bad'
