Susan's life III

Nathan was surprised at his own feelings,he subconsciously walked to Susan's room.He wanted to help her dress her wound.

Susan who was trying to clean her wound was shocked to see Nathan in her room.She looked at him without saying anything.

The both of them were quiet and just stared at each other. Nathan walked to Susan side but Susan moved back instinctively.He was not surprised when Susan moved back.

" I just wanted to help you dress your wound " Nathan said not knowing why.

"No need,I can do it myself".replied Susan.

Nathan didn't argue with her,he just walked out of the room. Susan stared at the door for a while before she continued with what she was doing.

The next day,Susan's father came back home.He didn't inform anyone that he was coming back. Chloe was surprised to see him.

" Honey,I missed you so much,why didn't you tell me you would be back today,I would have helped you to make a delicious meal" said Chloe.

Susan's father,Matthew just smiled at his wife and said " I wanted to surprise you ".

Chloe smiled at what he said. She stood up and went to the kitchen. Matthew looked at her till she entered the kitchen,he was grinning like a fool at how dutiful his wife was but what he didn't see was Chloe's troubled expression.

Chloe was scared that Matthew would suspect her for Susan's injury.Although she usually punished Susan,it was never until the extent that she would get injured.

Just at that moment, Susan came down from her room . Susan's head was bandaged and she was limping.

Susan knew that if she asked her dad for permission to go to the competition,he would allow her. Matthew was about to go to his room when Susan appeared in front of him,he was shocked to see Susan in such state.

" Darling,what's wrong with you,why are you like this " asked Matthew with care. He was very surprised to see her like that. Matthew was willing to do anything for Susan,he felt guilty towards her.He knew she did not like the fact that he got married to Chloe but he fell in love with Chloe.

"Nothing dad,I fell down from the stairs " said Susan.

" Darling,you need to be careful,have you gone to the hospital to check the wounds". asked Matthew.

" Yes dad,I have.Chloe took me to the doctor" replied Susan.

Matthew nodded feeling more impressed with his wife.

" Dad,i've got something to ask you".

"Yes honey,what is it "asked Matthew.

"There is this competition that is being at school and i really want to go,but my mum thinks it is not safe since it will be for a week.I know it is for a week but the teachers are going be there with us".

Susan tried to look as pitiful as she could do that her dad will allow her to go and honestly it worked.

" Honey,you are hurt,you can't possibly go but if you really want to go,Nathan must accompany you so as to attend to your daily needs".

Susan was disheartened when she heard this.She knew that Nathan would make life as hard as possible for her but she had another problem which was how would she allow Nathan come with her.

Her dad did not know but she is not allowed to say that she and Nathan are related.She wanted to convince her dad to let her go alone but he didn't allow.

" Where is Nathan by the way ?".

Susan didn't know where he was,the last time she saw him was when he came to her room but since that time she had not seen him.

" Don't worry dad,I'm going to inform him whenever I see him",after saying this Susan went to her room.

Chloe who was coming out of the kitchen heard everything that was said,she did not want Susan to leave so she wanted to convince Matthew to not allow her to.

" Darling,why did you allow Susan to,you know she just got injured she can't take of herself even if Nathan went with her,he can only help her do basic things,he can't possibly help her take her bath".

Matthew listened to what she said,he pondered about it before finally making a decision.

" Susan's injury is not much,she does not need any help with bathing,I would feel more comfortable if Nathan would accompany her.This is the first time Susan would ask for anything from me since her mom died,I don't want to disappoint her".

But .....,before Chloe could say anything,Matthew had walked away.

Susan was really happy that her dad gave her permission,she was going to her room when Nathan walked out of his.She decided to tell him what he said told her so as to avoid unnecessary arguments.

Nathan was trying to avoid Susan because he felt guilty but he saw her walking towards him.

" Dad wants you to accept me to the competition,yes would not like it if you do not follow me" said Susan.

" I know you are the one that told him that,you are so shameless.I don't want to be associated with you,no one in school must know that we are related can't you put it in your brain.If i accompany you to the competition would they not know that we are related"said Nathan angrily.

" Do you really think i want this,i also want to get as far away from you as i could but dad will not allow that.It is just your wishful thinking,I don't anything to do with you".

Nathan was really stunned when Susan said this,he had always talked to her like that but this was the first time she would talk to him like that.
