Chapter 2: Don't look down on me!

'Aaahhh!!! Stop chasing me!'

I keep running from a huge bear with intend to eat me as late night snack.

'Why didn't you tell me that there's a bear behind me!?'

'Well I didn't know there was a bear behind you'

'Now you do! It's getting closer what do I do!?'

There's no way I can outrun a bear, Do I hide? Or should I fight?

'Damn it! It caught up to you, Julian! Dodge!'

I ducked and survive a deadly paw of the bear but I still have no way to get out of this situation.

'Oh wait!'

'Wait for what!? I'm running for my life here!'

'I remembered something!'

'Well does it help with what I'm doing!? If not just shut up!'

'If I shut up you'll die you idiot! I remembered you packed a knife with you! You forgot it didn't ya!?'

Oh right! I forgot about it!

'Haha! I got a weapon to fight back now!'

I faced the bear, sudden stop made the bear flinched, then I charge at it. The bear swing it's sharp claw at me but I swiftly dodged it and stabbed the bear's throat. The knife wasn't effective against a bear's thick hide but it certainly did damaged the bear.

'Don't you fucking underestimate me you stupid animal! I, who will defeat all demons trained day and night for years not to die by you!'

Yes, I trained a lot and put much efforts to fight the demons, though I got no mentor I am confident that I am strong.

The bear with it's wound got very angry and furiously trying to bite me. Of course this amazing me won't get hit even if I got unlucky. And so I counter attacked it and stab through it's wound killing it almost instantly.

'Phew, looks like I got through and got the spine. This is what you get! If I had a weapon I'll never lose to the likes of mere animal!'

'Great! This will do for dinner'

'Dinner? Oh crap it got this late already!? I didn't prepare the firewoods and light a fire yet!'

Normud sighs, Looks like the most intense situation ended, What a relief

Sound of fire and ember feels soothing in this quiet night, I never knew how it feels like to be on a journey. Some fear, I almost died, Thrill fighting a bear, I got mixed feelings but hearing soothing sound of burning woods in this quiet forest, I feels like I got no regret. This is only the beginning of my epic journey, Wait for me you damned demons!
