Elder Dragons

As Akumu, relentlessly beat Nagato he began to cough up blood, however, he still continued. Akumu then shouted at him, "How many lives have you taken up to now? How many people would you have killed if you were paid enough money? Don't give me that it's just my job bullshit when you don't even understand the value of human life!"

He picked up Nagato by the neck before throwing him into a nearby wall creating a crater.

As Akumu walked towards him, Nagatos' fear for the boy increased. He began to apologise endlessly before silencing himself from fear. Akumu then asked him,

"Why did you target me specifically?"

Nagato quickly answered, "I was ordered to by Botan! There is a huge reward on your head that a bunch of other assassins are gunning for, so he ordered me to take you out quickly!"

Akumu in response to that question asked him, "Who is botan?"

So Nagato quickly responded, "He is the current leader of the Daihatsu family! One of the biggest assassin syndicates, in the criminal underworld."

"If you worked under Botan, and he was the one who decided to chase after my bounty, then how much is the bounty worth and who put it on me?", Akumu asked.

Nagato responded, "The bounty on your head is worth 10 Billion Yen."

The amount shocked, Akumu. Who could he have angered to pay 10 Billion for someone to kill him?? Was it because he lost the tournament and so an angry fan put the bounty on his head?

Before Nagato could give Akumu the answer to who had made him a target for killing, a speeding bullet suddenly broke through the barrier and pierced Nagato in the side of the head. 

Akumu quickly hid into the darkness, as he tried to figure out the angle of where the man had taken the shot. But even when he took shelter, he was barely able to avoid one of the bullets that pierced his left shoulder. As the barrier came undone, Akumu quickly ran into the building, for shelter.

Meanwhile on a faraway roof

A man carrying a large and heavy sniper rifle hid away carefully on the roof of an incredibly tall tower. As he looked down upon the hotel through his sniper scope, he saw Akumu hide away for cover.

The sniper in question wore a typical military outfit, that did him no service in blending in with the grey concrete and ceramic he hid on top of. He then told the man who hid next to him,

"I managed to kill Nagato before he spilt too much info, however, the target managed to get away."

The man who wore a large dark blue trench coat, said, "It's okay Vash. We will get him tomorrow."

Back with Akumu

As Akumu knocked loudly on his Teacher's door, Omo opened the door loudly while screaming, "What do ya want?"

The second he saw Akumus's punctured stomach and bullet wound, however, his completely switched to that of worry and rage. "WHO DID THIS TO YOU??", he shouted.

Before he could answer, he quickly passed out from the blood loss.

Somewhere in Izumo

As Botan waited patiently in his golden chair, a masked woman with flowing long brown hair while wearing a black tactical suit entered the room from its red gates. On her waist laid, a long looped chain that seemed to extend from her hidden bag. Following behind her was a grey-haired young man who from his size, appeared to be slightly younger than the girl. He too wore a black mask, but differently, he carried a large two-handed battle axe that rested on his back, while a steel chocker restrained he neck.

Eventually, a bald man with a scar that travelled down his left cheek entered behind them. He wore a long brown and dirty robe, as he blocked his mouth with a face mask typical, of the covid times.

Botan then shouted, "Of my 4 elder dragons, it appears that Matsu bastard will be late again. I swear to god the only reason I'm keeping him alive is because he is somewhat useful."

The man in the brown robes then spoke out, "It appears that he had been drinking at our hotel's bar again. The hotel staff found him passed out on the floor, so they locked him in one of the rooms before he threw a tantrum. Apparently, he lost a drinking match to some guy that was described as beast-like."

"This is annoying", he said as he slapped his face.

The woman with brown hair then asked, "Does this mean that I get to go torment Urushi today?"

Xiaoyu then shouted, "Every time we send you to get information out of him, you always either almost kill him, or get nearby citizens involved. Whenever you approach him, you always let your past grudges get the better of you."

She shouted in response, "That man deserves every bit of karma for killing my husband. He stole his life's work away from him and then hid it in some godforsaken place. The only reason why I haven't killed him yet is so that we could recover it."

Before the two Elder dragons began to argue Botan shouted, "ENOUGH! This is why I had Matsu go to that man. Whenever you do it Tsubaki you always lash out and take it too far. And you Xiaoyu you serve a much better use by my side."

Tsubaki angrily exited the room, while the chained boy quickly followed behind her.

The brown-robed man then said, "I would offer to do it, but I don't like getting my hands stained. I have much more important research to do with my poisons."

The bald man eventually then excused himself out of the room while Botan sighed. He then asked Xiaoyu, "When Matsu wakes up, would you mind forcing him to go to Urushi's? The sooner the better."

Xiaoyu then nodded before promptly leaving the room while Botan muttered to himself, "The second we get that cursed tool, the second we get EDEN, the sooner we will become the greatest superpower in the world. We will even be able to topple Jujutsu Society and I will become the new sovereign of Japan. Then at last my lifelong dream of being a King will finally come true."

As these events took place, a certain smartly dressed butler observed these events, while smirking to himself.

The next day, 12pm

As he slowly awakened, found himself in a hospital bed once more, the light of day poked out from his window,.He slowly rose out of bed he saw Omo, sleeping while sitting on the chair. As he struggled to get out, he noticed the time and thought, "Im gonna be late to meet with that old man. Im sorry to make you worry more Omo-sensei!"

he quickly changed into his partially shredded clothes, before jumping from the 4th story floor of the hospital. He quickly manifested his black flight and traversed across the city.

As Omo slowly woke up 2 minutes later to see the empty hospital bed, he immediately shouted, "SAIGO AKUMU!!"
