Azure sat up staying on the floor as Sukuna landed gently in front of him

"I don't get it..." Sukuna said as he touched his chin thinking.

"What...?" Azure struggled to get out.

"Back then... Why did you run away?" Sukuna asked thinking back to when they were in the building.

"...?" Azure looked at him in confusion.

"What was a wasted opportunity? Anyway... At this rate... I ain't gonna fix his heart..." Sukuna smiled.

Sukuna's smug grin widened as he prepared to deliver the final blow, a massive surge of cursed energy forming in his hand.

Azure struggled as he got up, his vision blurred, and he knew he wasn't strong enough to withstand what was coming.

"I can't... Not like this..." Azure said lowly in desperation.

Sukuna lunged forward at Azure.

"I– I couldn't save you..." Azure said as he looked at the tattoos that started going away.

Yuji, trapped within his own body, managed to wrest control back from Sukuna.

"I tried... But I couldn't..!" Azure said loudly as tears began to form in his eyes looking at Yuji.

"It's okay," Yuji smiled.

"I'm glad you didn't die... You're... stronger than me, I know you can help more people, so I'm glad you were the one to survive."

Blood started dripping from Yuji's chest and mouth. As rain began to come down.

"Oh! Sorry... Time's up..."

"Azure as for you, Megumi, Nobara... and Gojo sensei... Well, guess I don't have to worry about him." Yuji said as he began to wobble.

"Live a long life, okay?" Yuji asked as he fell to the ground.

*THUD

"U-uhhh...." Azure voiced as he slowly walked to Yuji getting on his knees.

Kuro landed On Azure's shoulder rubbing his cheek.

Azure got on his knees as he slowly tried picking Yuji up.

"Yuji...."

Azure said getting drenched in water from the rain.
