Judgement: Arc 1, Chapter 9 - Interrupt Signal

Joseph, Roy, and Lena are sitting in a hallway, outside of a hospital room. Lena has her hair in a pony tail, sitting and reading. Roy is also sitting and reading, but, is instead reading a newspaper. Joseph is leaning against the wall, trying to look cool. Lena says, "Isn't it tiring, just leaning all day?" Joseph says, "It's worth it, to look this cool." Lena replies, "Whatever you say... how long do you think it'll be before Michael wakes up." Roy says, "Probably around 1 day, or maybe even today. Honestly, I thought you'd be more worried, since you haven't known him for long enough." Lena says, "I first met him when he was recovering from fighting a giant mech, I think he'll be fine."

"I agree. I'm worried and all, but I know damn well, that he'll be fine. Hell, he'll probably be up in a couple minutes anyways." Joseph would say. As he was finishing his sentence, the door opens, and a nurse walks out. The nurse says, "He's ready. Healing Magic is one hell of a medicine, since he would have to had been in physical therapy or an equivalent, but here, give him a few minutes and he can come out." Roy says, "Modern Magic is one hell of a drug, literally." They would all get up to wait. Lena then asks, "So, what do you all do for fun?" Roy says, "Mainly just messing around with electronics and computers." Joseph also says, with too much confidence, "I walk around looking cool, and I annoy people." Michael walks out of the hospital room, and says, "You do that last part well, at least." Everyone turns, and starts to talk to him, while talking over each other. Joseph says, "You had to enter while putting me down, didn't you!" Roy says, "I thought you were still in there, taking a nap. Good to have you back." Lena says, "Agreed. That mission was a hard one, but at least we're all back and we, hopefully, have a break for a while."

Michael replies, "Thanks, everyone. We did well back there, but I'm hoping that I'll be able to rest for more than 3 days, like what happened last time." Everyone would express their agreement with that statement. Then, Lena slides over to Michael, and says, "So, how do you deal with Joseph?" Michael asks, "What do you me-" before getting cut off by Joseph, who says, melodramatically, "What did I do? Can't a man just live his life? What has this world come to?" Lena turns his attention to Joseph, and says, "If I have to hear the words, "We're going to crash", whenever someone who doesn't have the name Joseph Volkov dares to touch the wheel, next time you're in trouble, I might think twice before saving you." Joseph raises his hands up in defense, and says, "It was only a little joke, trust me!" Lena says, "The fact that it's a joke is quite believable, actually. I don't actually believe you have the brain power to act upon malice." Joseph replies, even more melodramatically, "I am aghast you would say such a thing on one of your teammates, truly a evil move."

Michael rolls his eyes, before saying, "Alright, let's break it up. I assume that we're all hungry from being here all day, so how about we go get something to eat. What do you all want?" Roy says, "Well, I would lik-" before getting cut off by Joseph saying, "Can we get some eastern food? Please, Michael?" and Lena saying, "I agree with Joseph, I could go for some cup noodles right now. Pretty please, can we get some?" Michael says, "It seems like the children over here want some ramen. Fine, we can go." As they all walked out of the hospital, Michael thought, that this might finally be a peaceful day.

William thought, that this is not a peaceful day. He is at the 20th Convention for Peace, a meeting arranged by many nations to discuss current political policies and how humanity as a whole can move to peace. William has had to play bodyguard for all of these politicians as the rest of the Lords could have fun playing their little game. As he was walking down the hallways of the venue, he had a message on his pager. Reading the message, it informed him that there was a disruption in one of the rooms on the upper level that he had to deal with. As he walked up the stairs to the other floor, any soldier around him would salute. He always didn't care for this, and felt like it was just weird, since they were in full uniform, while he just wore sweatpants, a red t-shirt, and two wristbands with the parts used for tightening loose. As he stood outside the room where the disturbance was located, one of the soldiers came running up to him and said, "Sir, there's terrorists in there! We think they took some diplomats hostage!" William replied, "Terrorists, huh? I'll go negotiate then." The soldier replied, "Wai-"

As the soldier tried to talk with William, William just kicked the door down, opening it up to a room which had 6 armed men with masks on, and several tied up diplomats. One of the armed men said, "What the hell? Why are they here already?" William said, "Bad time? I can come again later." The other armed man said, "Don't you see what's going on here? We're gonna kill them if you come any closer!" William replies, "Alright, I'll stand over here, at a save distance away." As William moves away, he grabs a chunk of the shattered door, then rapidly swings it around. As he raises the chunk of wood, his forearm's muscles would seemingly grow and shrink in a split second. William launches the chunk of wood at one of the armed men, hitting the man in the face, and launching him out through the window. Another armed man says, "Shoot him! For Leon!" but, in a split second, William would be in-front of him, and says, "Oh my god, can you just stop talking?" before punching the man in the face, shattering his nose, and sending him out the window. William says, "While I would really like fighting you all, I'd prefer not to while there's other people in the room. Besides, a 3 story drop into a parking lot won't kill anybody." William lifts the table, and would use it to send the rest of the terrorists out the window like a the lever of a pinball machine hitting a ball. Then, he would jump down and follow them.

One of the terrorists says, "What kind of magic are you using? How can you do this?" William would land on the ground, making a small crater in the dirt below, and responds, "I don't have a name for it, but I'm just manipulating the structure and chemicals of my body, making rapid muscle growth, and allowing me to basically cheat out superhuman moves." The terrorists start to shoot at William, and while the bullets would break through his shirt, it only causes mild bruising to skin. William says, "Ouch, that hurts so much. Let me get a hit in to make this equal." He leaps forward, and grabs one of the terrorists, before slamming them into the ground, making a cartoonish hole in the ground. Another terrorist puts his gun away, before using Flame Magic, and throwing fireballs at William. William says, "It's not even summer yet, put that away.", before punching the terrorist in his stomach, shattering his rib-cage. The 3 less injured terrorists start to run away, abandoning their allies, and jumping into a car. William walks up to a man who is getting out of his car, and gives him a check, saying, "Here's for your car." William then grabs the car, lifts it over him with one hand, then starts running at a rapid speed to the terrorists who are driving away.

One of the terrorists look back, and says, "How the hell is he keeping up! Start throwing everything you have!" They throw everything, from magic to bullets, and at most cause some bleeding. William grabs his car with his other hand, and throws it at the terrorists car, causing the terrorists car to crash. Another terrorist would say, "Did he just throw a whole-ass car at us? William walks up to them, and grabs two of them, and slams their heads together, causing a fracture and a knock out for both of them. Then, he walks up to the driver, and would throw him out. The terrorist driving says, "Don't get any closer, I have a bo-" and would be interrupted by a punch into his head, knocking him out. William would open the terrorists coat, and before he could say anything, he heard, "Oh, so he did have a bomb. He looks over, and down the road, saw Iwai Rowe, 2nd Lord. William would say, "What are you doing here? Don't you have some plotting to do?" Iwai responded, "Yeah, this is apart of it." "Whatever, just get rid of this bomb." William says. Iwai would grab the bomb, and in a moment, she seemingly made it just de-materialize.

Iwai says, "You do know what this means, right?" William replies, "What, that I'll miss lunch?" Iwai says back, "No, it means that we're probably gonna see a conflict between Leon and Calridea soon." William groans, before saying, "Can't I ever have one peaceful day?"
