The beginning

I held her hands and said jovially;

"Well, you must have seen my intelligence, my fitness, my very visible six-packs, and my beauty before you fell in love with me. But what did I see in you?"

"You....." She withdrew her hands from my grip and got one of the pillows to eat me. That was how we started our pillow fight which lasted for two hours.

I was the first to get tired, I started breathing heavily and I was like; "Hey! Come on, I'm tired already. Let's stop this." 

"Hmm....." She mocked "Tired or hungry."

"Both." I said and let out a smile. It was then I remembered that all doors were still locked. it was fifteen minutes to ten am already. I quickly got up and went to open the doors. I came back to my room but couldn't find Joygiver. I wanted to go to the kitchen when she jammed me at the entrance of my room.

"Just go and brush your teeth, the food is ready." She said. 

"Such a funny joke." I said and let out a smile. "I just stood up from my bed to open the doors now, it hasn't been up two minutes."

"What do you mean by such a funny joke?" She asked. "Do you think I was joking?"

I looked at her with a serious face, though I was confused. 

"You.... You are not joking?" I stammered. 

"You can check the dining yourself na." She said, with a smile on her face. 

With fear, I rushed to the dining to confirm if she was saying the truth. There on the table, I found two mugs that were already covered and two plates that were already covered also. At the center of the table was a loaf of bread. I went to open those plates and there I found some mouth-watering fried eggs. And there in the mug were warm coffee. I was shocked and I started having a doubt.

The question I kept asking my self was how she was able to finish all this within ninety five seconds. fear overcame me and in fear I went to brush my teeth and joined her in the dining. 

I was having a doubt before I could have a taste of that food. I was asking myself if she had not come to take my glory away with this food. With that doubt, I continued eating.

The egg was the best I've ever tasted in my life. it was as if the egg was fried with honey. 

"But when did you make this?" I asked 

"What sort of question was that?" She asked with a smile. "This morning na. I left your room to the kitchen and made breakfast for you. I saw the bread where you kept it, I then picked six eggs from your store and fried it."

"All that within a minute and some seconds?" I asked with surprise. 

"Then, how long should it take, Bayo?" She asked, again letting out a smile. 

"Hmm..." I sighed and continued eating. She offered to feed me and I fed her too. It was a romantic moment for us.

Then after the breakfast, I suggested we go to the balcony to play. She smiled and followed me.

I picked up my ball as soon as we got to the balcony. 

"Are we playing ball?" She asked with a smile. 

"Of course, no." I replied. "I want to test your speed this morning. I want to know who can run faster between the both of us. I will kick this ball and make it go as far as possible then we wil both run to get it."

"It's okay." She said, resting on my shoulder.

I collapsed to the bed as soon as we got to my room from the balcony. She lied down beside me and smiled at me.

"You said you wanted to test my speed, but your speed got tested." She laughed. 

"I will never leave her in a million years." I said to my self. "I spent just a morning with her and I got addicted to her. I love her presence beside me and I don't want her to go. I wished she is always by my side."

"What are you thinking?" She asked with a smile. 

"Wondering why you always smile whenever you talk to me?" I replied. 

"I get overjoyed whenever I'm with you." She replied. "Just trying to control how joyous I feel."

"So, a lot hides under your smile." I teased her. She smiled and slapped me playfully. She lied her head on my chest and I embraced her like that. I didn't know if she slept or not but I Sept off and woke up around two o'clock in the afternoon.
