She fell in love with me

"You've never had sex with any man physically?"

I asked 

"Yes." She replied 

"Then why did you come to me?" I asked.

"There is something special about you." She said. "You are a glorious one and I've discovered that you have no evil intention with the wealth that has come to you. So, I had no business with you. But at the same time, a woman is very angry with your mother for giving birth to such a glorious child. Should I say she is jealous of your mom? So, she went to meet the witches and asked them to destroy your destiny for her."

"Ha!" I opened my eyes and mouth wide in surprise. 

"The witches had tried all their power on you but luckily a friend of yours is a God sent." She continued. 

"Who?" I asked. "How?"

"John has that gift of fighting spiritually." She said. "I am set to take that gift from him though."

"Why?" I asked.

"He had been a pebble in my shoe ever since I know him." She said. "Not only me, he has been disturbing the work of the witches too. He has probably been sent by God to be a watch over you."

"But, how are you going to take the gift from him?" I asked. 

"You shouldn't be asking me that." She said. "Because you should know that I won't tell you that secret. If I tell you what my plan is, you will tell him since he is your friend."

"Do you have to do that?" I asked. "I mean, Just leave his gift for him and I can tell him to stop watching over me."

"Even if he is not watching over you, it's okay if you have God." She said. "Your God is enough for you to protect you. Because of God had not been protecting since all this while, my mission would have been completed successfully."

"Then, how were you planning to ruin my destiny?" I asked 

"By sleeping with you." She replied.

"But you used to sleep with people in their dream, why is my case different?" I asked 

"Because you have no one you're crushing on." She replied. "So, whose form will I assume when you were not in love with any girl."

"Why didn't you come to my dream after I fell in love with you?" I asked 

"Your friend already told you the truth about me." She said "And, he has been sent to protect you."

"But, who is that woman that asked you to come and ruin my life?" I asked. 

"She is your mother's friend." She replied. 

"My mother's friend?" I was confused. "Which of them?"

"That information should be kept a secret from you." She said. "I wouldn't have shared my secret with you if not for the fact that I'm in lo... Sorry, you are in love with me."

I knew it in my mind that she has fallen in love with me too, that is why she made that mistake while talking.

"The fact remains that I'm not the only one that is in love with you." I said. "You're also in love with me."

"Never!" She exclaimed. "Do you remember that I am a goddess? I can never fall in love with any man. God has given me the power to control this world to a limit."

"To control this world to a limit?" I asked myself. "Is she Satan?"

"I know you won't admit to that fact that you love me." I said to her. "You will still continue to live with that ego of yours. You want to be on your own, controlling the world. But, no woman will ever reveal everything about her to a man if she has not fallen in love with the man."

"You've misunderstood me, Bayo." She said. "The fact that I revealed the truth about me to you does not imply that I'm in love with you. There is no rule that says A girl can only keep her secret with the one she is in love with. I saw your heart, that is why I revealed the truth about me to you. I love your character the more when I saw you saving the girl you never knew. I discovered that you are a type that is ready to helped anyone in problem and definitely, your heart is clean. I'm not in love with you."

I was depressed. I felt like drowning myself in a river. Why should my first love story be a failed love story like that of the hero in the movie "Hey!" ?

"I know I've broken your heart." She said. "I'm sorry. But I know you will stop loving me if you see me in my real form."

"I don't care about the kind of form you have." I said. "I just want to be with only you."

"Are you sure you will continue loving me if you see me in my real form?" She asked.

"I already know you are a goddess and you can assume any form." I said. "So don't think you can deceive me by assuming some other form, telling me that is your real form."

"Infact, you've been deceived by this form." She said. "I'm so sure you fell in love with this form because you find it beautiful."

"I will continue to love you in any form you've assumed." I said.

Then, she looked at the back and faced me immediately. 

I saw it! I saw her third eye. I saw an eye on her forehead. An eye that seems larger than the other two eyes. I then realised that John was saying the truth. John already told me the girl had three eyes but I took him for a drunkard. Now, I saw it with my eyes. How on earth will someone has three eyes was the question going on in my mind which I had no answer to. I was baffled but I hid my feeling of fear and anxiety. It was a moment I will remember for my entire life.

"This face is actually yours, the third eye is just what you hid from me." I said in an interrogative manner after I let go of my fear.

"Yes." She replied. "I have three eyes but I have the ability to hide my third eye."

"Then, is that a problem?" I asked with a pretence and I was so sure I saw a feeling of shock and surprise written on her face. The truth remained that I lost interest in her after seeing her third eye. If she was a true goddess, she would have seen my mind and discovered that I've lost interest in her. But how can I tell her that my feelings about her were gone after I've discovered how powerful she is. I had to pretend and do as if I was still in love with her. "I don't give a damn about your real form. I love you and nothing can take your love away from my heart."

For the first time, I heard (or should I say I saw?) a goddess getting emotional. She hugged me immediately with tears rolling down her cheeks.

"I love you too, Bayo!" She exclaimed and locked her lips with mine for a while. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

I forced a smile to appear on my lips. Deep down, I was sad. I really wanted to spend the rest of my life with her but after seeing her scary third eye, I lost complete interest in her. How will I say this? I forced her to love me and now, I don't love her again.

"Are you sure you want to spend the rest of your life with me?" I asked 

"Why are you asking that question?" She asked, still hugging me.

"Because you said it earlier that you are a goddess and you will remain on your own, controlling the world." I replied. "Now, can I trust you?"

"Bayo, I'm ready to turn myself completely to man and forget about being a goddess because of you." She said.

"How is that possible?" I asked.
