ch 13 < meeting with children>

Entering the Academy

As soon as I entered the academy, an orange-haired kid charged at me with a flaming sword, which I caught with ease.

"That's not a good way to greet your new homeroom teacher," I told him.

The orange-haired boy exclaimed,

"What? You caught it? How did you do that?"

A girl with yellow hair sneered, "Huh, you can't even hit your new teacher.

"In front of me stood five human children.

This was a gathering of problem children, also known as the S-Class, a special class composed solely of World Travelers.

Yuuki had sheltered these children from every corner of the world.

They were still elementary-grade students, but their abilities were terrifyingly high for their age.

< Sigh, I don't know how canon Rimuru handled them. >

I had four months to teach them about ethics, morals, and other important subjects. The children directed hostile gazes at me.

<i could feel their hatred using Heart Intent>

Five children:

Misaki Kenya: Male, 10 years old

Sekiguchi Ryouta: Male, 10 years old

Gale Gibson: Male, 11 years old

Alice Rondo: Female, 9 years old

Chloe Aubert : Female, 10 years old.

None of them were older than 12.

They had been picked up from all over the world, each one labeled a monster.

Their life stories were more tragic than I had imagined.

Some had even faced execution attempts.

"Yo, what's with the sudden aggression, brats!"

"I, the great Karna, will be your instructor from now on. Pleased to meet you."

"I'm not as nice as Shizu-san, so prepare yourselves!"I thought to start with a greeting.

but…"Shut up! You won't deceive us!"

"Right, right! Even if we listen, you'll just kill us anyway!"

"What did you do with Shizu-san? Did you kill her too?!"

"Yeah, we won't trust an adult!"

"You'll just dispose of us, saying that we're good for nothing, right?

"Hmm? What's with their response? This wasn't just classroom disruption; this was real killing intent.

"Well, first thing, I'm also an Otherworlder like you. So I can imagine what sort of life you've experienced."

< When I said this, their expressions suddenly changed. >

I then decided to distract them by asking other questions and creating a phoenix made of fire and ice like some magician.

Their eyes sparkled at my display.I also provided my handmade biscuit cake for them, and now they opened a soft side for me.

"Okay! Kids, you seem to have things to say, so let's have a test!"I declared.

"Wha-! How did it turn into that?"

"A test?"

"Ueee!!!"They responded with loud criticism.

"It's more like a game with a test. You will definitely enjoy it.

Plus, this test will help you vent out your frustration. I promise.

"So we all moved outside.

< All they need is simple care and love to open their hearts to me. Patience and consistency are the keys to it. >

At the playground, we gathered.I drew a circle and spoke to them.

"The rules are simple. You can go all out and use anything you want. If you bring me out of this circle, you win.

If you perform well, I might give you a reward. Everyone has 10 minutes. Do you get it?"

"Yes," they all replied.

"Kenya, you're up first," I said as I drew a circle around me.

"If you can get me to leave this circle, I'll give you a prize. You've got 10 minutes. Go.

"Kenya rushed towards me and tried to slash at my body. I made a simple stick with Material Creation and blocked his strike.

"You're using too much energy with each strike and making unnecessary movements. You're going to run out of stamina like that.

"In frustration, he threw his sword."What are you doing throwing your sword at me? Now you are unarmed.

" Bonk I lightly hit him with my hand. "Now you'd be dead. Don't throw your sword if you don't have a plan.

"Next was Chloe. < Our time traveler. >

With Chloe, I followed the same procedure, drew a circle on the dirt, and told her to push me out.

She tried her Water Jail on me, but I sent her a mental communication that said,

<<Nice magic control. However, I don't need to breathe, so can just run the clock if you do anything else.>>

And I used Law Manipulation to break free from the Water Jail.

"Nice job listening to my advice. Here, have some manga and cookies."

Judging by her face, she was extremely happy.

Alice used her stuffed toys to attack me, and I dodged them with minimal movement.

Due to her good performance, I offered her some action figures and even gave her a cute white teddy bear.

I might have to create some weapons that can cause some damage.

Ryota used his skill to increase his strength but lost his sanity due to a lack of control.

I'll have to work with him to help him keep his mind while using his skill.

He could get himself and others in danger like that. Since he seemed to listen to the advice I gave him, I gave him some Masayuki toys I had found since I knew he was a pretty big fan.

Last was Gale. After his magic attack, he instantly gave up. I gave him some action figures.

"Why didn't I receive any gifts?" Kenya asked.

"Because you weren't listening in class. If you promise to become a good boy, then I'll give you a gift."

He immediately promised to become the best student ever.I then gave him a blunt magic weapon.

This will help him with his magic infusion on his sword.

"Now let's go to any restaurant you want. My treat.

"So we enjoyed our first day to the fullest.

One Week Later

Karna's knowledge of psychology made his class quite interesting for the kids.

The children saw his effort and love, and as a result, they became quite attached to him.

I also explained various adventure ranks and shared some of my experiences with them.

Enthusiastically, they all expressed a desire to become adventurers.

"Yes, I will become an adventurer!" Chloe declared.

"Well, I don't think you'll be able to join just yet, but I appreciate your enthusiasm.

You need to grow a little bit more," I said.

"I'm not a child," she pouted, looking like a cute kitten whose tail had been stepped on.

"Cute," I instinctively said.

Her face turned a deep shade of blush.

"Alright, kids. Today, we will discuss magic and the different types of magic.

"The children's eyes sparkled with excitement, eager to dive into the wonders of magic.

As I began explaining, I could see their imaginations ignite, ready to explore the vast possibilities that lay ahead.

Magic Lecture

"Magic is the embodiment of an 'idea' that produces some effect in accordance with a specified law.

In simple words, it's your imagination. To cast magic, you need incantations or symbols.

But with enough practice, you can cast them without chants.

This all depends on your imagination.

"There are four main types of magic:

Elemental Magic

Spirit Magic

Holy Magic

Summoning Magic

"To use Spirit Magic, you need to make a pact with a spirit."They were all excited with such important information.

Our class continued with some interesting talks.

Children should go outside and play around, not spend their time locked up in an academy.

So I made the children memorize . With my intrinsic skill < integration >

I can embed my knowledge and fuse it into the children.

One Month Later

I had been teaching here for a month, guiding the kids through their studies as I worked on my own preparations.

A little reward for some difficult task is good way to encourage hardworking..

I provide manga in local language so it prompt them to learn tensura language leaving Japanese behind..

Their curiosity was boundless, and I could see the excitement in their eyes as they absorbed the knowledge.

We explored the mysteries of science, mapped out the wonders of geography, and delved into the principles of ethics and morals.

The magic lessons were particularly enchanting, as the children eagerly practiced their newfound abilities.

"Remember, you must promise not to use magic indoors," karna reminded them.

We promise! They all replied in unison.

Their faces alight with determination and the thrill of their burgeoning powers.

The children had a time limit of 3 months left.

Next Day

On academy training grounds

"Alright, kids. Today, we begin your swordsmanship training," Karna announced, his voice firm but kind.

"A sword is not just a weapon; it's an extension of your will and spirit.

Mastering it requires patience, practice, and discipline.

"Kenya, unable to contain his excitement, asked. "Are you going to show us some cool moves, teacher?"

Karna chuckled. "Yes, but first, we need to start with the basics. Even the most skilled swordsman began with simple swings."

I then showed them basic stances and knowledge about feint and provoking in battles..

"Good. Now, let's practice the basic swing." He demonstrated a smooth, controlled downward strike.

"Keep your movements fluid and controlled. It's not about strength but precision."

"Easy there, Kenya.

Control is key," Karna advised, helping him regain his stance.

"Focus on the flow of your movement."

After an hour of practice. Karna called for break.

"Remember, swordsmanship is not just about learning techniques," Karna said, his tone serious.

"It's about discipline, respect, and understanding your own strengths and weaknesses.

"Chloe, always the thoughtful one, asked, "Teacher, why is understanding ourselves important?"Karna smiled, impressed by her question.

"Because, Chloe, a true swordsman must know their own limits and how to overcome them.

It's not just about defeating an opponent but also about personal growth.

"The children nodded, absorbing his wisdom. They returned to their practice with renewed determination, their movements growing more precise and confident..

At picnic

Today, I decided to take them all out on a picnic.

School wasn't in session; it was the equivalent of a Sunday in my old world. Sitting in the same classroom for days on end would take the wind out of any student's sails, and I still needed to work some magicules out of their system on a regular basis.

I called for sparing between me.

Half an hour later

They were tired from all the sparing.

Soon, a Sky Dragon came and headed towards the kingdom.

"Alright, kids. I'm gonna go beat that dragon real quick. You stay here," I said as I summoned Tempest Wolves and ordered them to keep the children safe.

"Teacher, if you're gonna take that monster on, you need to wait until the knights show up!" Gale said.

"Yeah! Like, you're stronger than us, but no way could you beat that freak!"

"Wait, wait, wait! If you die, who's going to save us then, huh?! I'm not gonna let you die!" Alice said.

Chloe and Ryota were giving me concerned looks as well.

I really needed to show them my full range of skills.

"Please, kids, just leave this to me! I'm not stupid, and I'm strong..

"Instantly changing into the fancy kimono Shuna had prepared for me, I completed the transformation on the spot

"Ah...," Ryota said, stunned into silence.

"No way!" exclaimed Alice.

"Whoaaa," Kenya shouted, eyes sparkling.

"Wow, teacher, that's so cool! You look so handsome," Chloe concluded with a blush.

"You can do anything, can't you?" Gale said, rolling his eyes.

All their assessments helped me remember something.

"Oh, right. Here, hold this for me."I took off my mask.

I'd need it once we got back to the city, but having it on now would scream my identity to the general public.

The children all gasped as Chloe accepted it from me.

"Hey! No fair, Chloe!" Alice whined.

I took her complaint as my cue to sprout wings and fly off to battle.

When I reached the site, I found a familiar-looking face staring down the Sky Dragon..

Several knights and adventurers had gathered there to protect the citizens from harm.

Next to him was a fat little man holding a pot bottle with the Tempest seal stamped on it..

Oh, there he is.

I then used Black Hole to seal the Sky Dragon and transferred it to Rimuru so he could absorb it.

I rescued the merchant Mjöllmile.

That man was a genius when it came to managing money, and it wouldn't hurt to have him join Tempest.

I then left the place and rejoined my students.

That night, I met with Mjöllmile, discussed business with him, and convinced him to join Tempest while the children enjoyed their food in a fancy restaurant.

After a week, I requested a temporary leave with the kids to take them to Ramiris' dungeon, which I had stated to Yuuki was just a field trip.

They were so nervous the day before that they almost didn't go to bed.

I assured them nothing bad would happen to them.

After some consoling, they all slept peacefully..

The next morning,

I used Spatial Domination and directly transported us to Ramiris' dungeon.

I had already asked Milim to inform Ramiris that I needed her help to summon a greater spirit.
