Chapter 22

Alessia's POV

I spent the whole day packing and drawing.

No one disturbed me to which I'm grateful.

Only when Isabella came and announced that dinner is ready did I realize that I'm hungry.

We walked downstairs together and I could hear voices, when we entered I saw a few men around the table, drinking and smoking.

Johnny leaned down in his chair with a cigarette in his hand, talking to Ciro and Luca. As Isabella and I took our seats, Stefano smiled at me.

I gave him a small smile and notice Isabella watching us with a frown. "Alright, that's it. I think she's in love with Stefano. That's why Camilla asked me what's going on between the two of us." I thought as I watched her.

I picked up my knife and fork, cutting the steak in front of me. I looked up at Johnny as I ate, swallowing my food I asked.

"Are your parents going to be there?"

Johnny gave me a single nod.

"So I will be meeting your family?"
