Chris didn't want to eavesdrop, but curiosity couldn't let him mind his business as he got closer to the closed door. Especially when he began to hear snippets of the conversation going on inside the room.
He crossed his hands and leaned by the wall, listening.
"You know I'm busy," Sky's voice came through the door, cool and sharp.
"I do not think you're not," the other guy replied, his tone almost playful.
"Then stop asking me. Ask someone else."
"I don't want anyone else."
The fuck? Chris froze. Was this a love confession? What the hell is always happening in here?
The guy continued, "I don't think I'd ever find anyone better than you—"
Chris was about to storm in. This guy must be out of his mind if he thought—
"—to tutor me," the guy finished.
Oh.
Wait… what?
Chris exhaled quietly, his hand still hovering near the door handle.
