Chapter Forty Three

Jake arrived at Owens house one afternoon. He rang the doorbell and Amelia opened up.

"Hey !" Jake said.

"Hi..." she said widening the door to let him in. "So you guys are back together"

"let's go see the Golden Gate Bridge" Owen declared as they got into his car.

"Why?...it's foggy by now and whenever I pass by it gives off an eerie vibe" Jake said.

They drove there slowly enjoying the wondrous sight. Light was litted on the rails of the bridge and there were signals for incoming cars.

"I'll book us a suite"

Jake searched for an hotel nearby and booked and reserved a room for them. They passed the bridge and drove to the hotel. Jake settled the formalities and they were in their way to the room. Something kept poking at Owens pocket which he ignored as they passed the hallway to their room.

The suite was really nice when they arrived jazz music was already playing.

"They sure give different services " Owen observed. The light of the room was dimmed red.

"Nah...I booked a couple suite " Jake shared.

A warm bath was already in place with rose petals floating on the water.

Scented candles were lit around the bathroom highlighting the tub.

"This is romantic "Owen declared.

They both got out of their clothes ready to soak in the warm tub perfectly combined with the smooth jazz and the not so bright room. Jake got in first and Owen followed laying on Jake's chest.

"I'll wash your hair then I'll give you a really good full body massage later" Jake said scooping water with his hand and pouring on Owens hair.

Six months later they had a small wedding in a garden at horse show lake. The garden was very beautiful with flowers surrounding the space and giving off a sweet scent. Jake and Owen looked stunning rocking white suits. The suits were specially designed by Josh and Monneteni.

Jakes father attended being all snobby and stuck up. Jake was happy to see him though.

Aunt Kathy and her husband came too with Lucas as the little groom.

Rome and his family were there too, smiling heartily.

Phoebe made the cake, a pretty tall one with two men on suits at the tippy top.

Josh came along with Trevor and they were looking so loved up always being around each other. Josh's love for Monneteni had died and he only admired him now. He had love for just Trevor.

Jules had a baby girl that was three months old now and the baby looked so much like her. Hamps was in attendance too as well as Jules mom, her dad wasn't free enough to make it. When she saw Jake she she'd a tear happy that her best friend was happily getting married.

Kevin and Gilbert were also there, they were now living together.

"How are you guys" Stephen asked joining them and he wasn't hooked on his phone.

"We're great as you can see" Gilbert said.

"Hmmm...see our boy Owen is now a man"

Kevin laughed. "Yeah our boys all grown up"

"I wonder when this boy will grow up" Gilbert asked patting Stephens shoulder.

"He already is. Can you see his phone?"

"Oh... no I can't "

"You guys are crazy" Stephen laughed. Things were going smoothly for him and Dean. They have been meeting each other at times.

Jake had invited Dean but he was working.

Amelia was the coordinator of the wedding with help from her friends Tim, Tam and Yj.

"Amelia!" Kevin said to her.

"Hey Kevin I've missed you so much"

"Yeah me too"

"Your brother told me about the show you're in and I saw it and you are magnificent " Kevin said.

"Oh thanks so much" she hugged him.

She said hi to Gilbert and excused herself promising to talk more with them. She was staying in an hotel at New York as she was in the semifinals of the dance competition. She had taken excuse out on grounds of her brothers wedding and was spared two days by her manager.

Monneteni was in attendance too.

Trevor was a bit jealous during the suit making process but Vegas eased his jealousy as he was always hovering around them. Giving them no opportunity to get too close.

Davis and Julian came together. Apparently they had met at the gym and were now seeing each other. Davis yearned for Owen while Julian for Kevin.

Kiki came too. When Jake was in China, he had been in contact with her and they had become friends.

"Did you and your anonymous baker man make the cake"

"No" Phoebe laughed

"It's really pretty"

"Right. It's gotta be my best piece yet and it's like my brother will soon tie the knot" Phoebe said watching her brother peering into Trevors phone.

Jake and Owen were all smiles that day. Happy to share such a wonderful day with people who loved them.

The married couple got into their honeymoon suite with locked hands and intent staring at each other. Jake untangled his and captures Owens lips in an heart wrecking kiss. Jake laughed. "I love you Owen, my sweet baby"

Jake had found happiness. He could gladly flaunt his husband without giving a fuck what people thought about it or had to say.
