Reaching the room Samuel came to know the books had already been delivered and kept outside his room.
Samuel finding the books outside took the entire bundle outside and decided to open the books, feeling that he could read the books after checking the entire dorm.
Samuel found that he had been given a separate room, making him realize the value of mages here was more than he expected.
He saw the room and it was almost similar to room he had as clan's young master in Konoha
It was very similar to a one-bedroom apartment, around fifty meters (55 square yards). It had a double bed in the top right corner, his chest was in front of the bed.
A couple of meters to the left, against the wall, there was a wooden wardrobe.
On the left wall there was a hardwood desk and a chair for his studies, with a couple of empty bookshelves mounted above it. Furniture aside, the room was empty, making it appear even bigger.
An inner door lead to the biggest bathroom he had ever seen, occupying over a third of the room. There was a real toilet and a sink in front of a mirror, both with running water.
The room had facilites like running water in taps and a direct flush connected with sewage making him realize his days of throwing away the human waste in the jungle was over.
After the visit to his rooms and using his sharingan to read the entire book, Samuel found that capacity of brain here was much better than his previous life. He developed two hypothesis for the same mainly one that his lack of chakra problem in Uchiha body was over or mana was stronger form of energy.
Samuel was one of the first guys again to enter the dinning hall for dinner but all the 1st years were pointing finger in his directions, saying the boy with ballot.
This made Samuel realize that he again became popular but this time, not for a good reason rather he was again the ostricized.
While he was eating his food he noticed the that few noble children going towards Lith to talk to him but the talk was concluded too fast, though Samuel heard a few words like Archmage's son, Mages sticking together and all but Samuel ignored the same. Next he noticed the group of nobles including Yurial, Friya and Quilla coming to meet him.
Though Samuel didn't have any other notion than to talk, he still saluted them when they came near him.
Yurial started by saying, "You wouldn't hate some company right?"
Samuel was not in mood to make many enemys so he pointer his hands, asking the 2 nobles and commoner to take a seat.
Seeing none one initiated the conversation Quilla decided to take the mantel of talk
While Samuel was eating silently, he heard Quilla asking, "I heard from the professor that you are also an orphan like me"
Though most of his talks were with a fishman who had issue controlling his power, he still believed any other topic would have been better initiator than this, but still not wanting to douse the confidence of the girl Samuel replied with a simple YES.
After which he went to eating his food again, then Yurial seeing the ship going towards reef took the reins and said, "Yes I didn't expect you to complete and learn speels before all of us who have experience and teachers since young'
Friya and Quilla also nodded.
To which Samuel replied, "I have always been a fast learner compared to others"
Seeing Samuel again starting to eat, Yurial stated "Though you might have bad opinions of Nobels I want to ensure that all of us don't have noses pointing towards the sky"
Samuel finally decided that his simple meal was over and stated that "First of all no one wants to be a second a choice for making friend after rejection. Secondly you came to me after seeing my talent making me realize that only benefits move you people and finally I am tired after entire day so I would like to enter my dorm and sleep for a bit"
Before leaving Samuel made eye contact with Lith relazing his attention was here but still left.
While going towards the dorm Samuel felt that there was something wrong inside him as he was never prone to anger or similar problems. If in life as Itachi he could point his most important trait then it could only be his cold blooded and calm mind, though he could point anger control. He felt something was coming to his mind but he kept forgetting about the same.
The next day Samuel woke up early and exercised a bit and had a simple breakfast. The first lesson would be with Professor Trasque again, this time in Theory of Combat Magic's training hall. As due to Sharingan Samuel knew about the entire school map, he reached faster than other students.
The training hall was even bigger than the canteen. The space inside was completely empty, except for circular rings with a diameter of ten metres (11 yards), evenly spaced among them and spread throughout the whole room.
Samuel saw Professor Trasque arrive, followed by Headmaster Linjos. After all of the students had arrived, Linjos made them sit down on the ground. He had something to tell.
"If any of you is asking himself why Lady Hestia, Lady Vark and Lady Carn haven't attended any of yesterday's lessons, the answer is they were busy packing their stuff. As a matter of fact, they have been dishonourably expelled from this academy. At the same few other students have come under radar, He said pointing at three stooges
At the same few other students have come under radar, He said pointing at three stooges
The terrible events that transpired yesterday, have been added to their personal files. They can apply to other academies, yet I doubt anyone will give them even a probation admittance.
I am not telling you this because I want to threaten you. I just want you to realize that your actions have consequences. Life isn't a game, there is no do over. More importantly, I want you reflect about the society you want to live in.
Does anyone of you know that, despite at the beginning of each year six out of ten students belong to the great noble families, seven out of ten of those that actually manage to graduate are just commoners, merchants and small nobles?
And why is that? Because while the nobles waste their time harassing others, thinking that their family name will always solve every problem, the others work hard, knowing how important magic is. They don't have the luxury of a second chance.
If a noble fails, he just returns to his beautiful manor, his whole life is still planned ahead for him. Those who succeed, instead, have too much to lose, and their motivation keeps them focused. Most of the time, a huge part of that motivation is revenge.
Do you realize how many mages have destroyed entire noble households because of past grudges? Do you really want to live in a world were commoners tremble in fear of the nobles, while the nobles in turn fear the mages?
It's because of this flawed morality that our Kingdom is slowly devolving into chaos. The academy rules don't just protect the commoners from you, they also protect you from the mages of tomorrow.
Might makes right is all fun and games, until you find someone stronger than you. Then, it becomes a nightmare, were you can lose everything on a whim of your better. Law is a shield to defend the weak, not a sword to threaten others' lives.
I hope that you all take my words to heart. Thanks for your time."
As soon as the Headmaster left the room, the air filled with comments about the news. It had been years since the last time someone managed to get expelled, and it only happened because a Professor witnessed the events.
It was easy to predict where the discussion was headed, so Lith took out the Ballot and stood up near Professor Trasque. He had joined the academy a little more than 24 hours ago, and all that mean looks routine had already bored him to death.
Trasque didn't miss any of it.
"Still blaming the victim, uh? Our Headmaster is really a good guy. He really believes in you lot. As for me, I believe that humans are too arrogant and self-centered to have any concept of pain outside their own.
People are only able to empathise with things they experienced hard enough to get hurt themselves. That's why I took this job."
The contrast between Professor Trasque's handsome face and the cruel smile he made, managed to make it even creepier.
"Now, let me explain today's lesson." Professor Trasque continued.
