it's okay Hailee's pov

I hungrily filled my lungs, inhaling the fresh air deeply.

"What a day" I said to myself as I sank into my couch.

Finally, it's Friday and I get to see Vicky tomorrow and I won't feel lonely again.

Just then memories of what happened today flashed through my mind and my heart started doing that flip flop again.

"What have you done to me Jay" I whispered to myself.

The mention of his name made me remember I had a dinner to go to.

I still had some fifty minutes before he comes so I decided to do a clean up. After all I'll be picking Vicky up early in the morning and would not have time to clean up.

I got a message from Jay as I was trying to dry my hair that he was on his way.

I wore a black bodycon dress and decided to let my hair fall freely this time. Jay had already sent another message that he was outside so I on put a little make up and checked myself one last time before heading out.

Our eyes met as soon as I stepped out.

He was looking so hot and handsome and he was just wearing a plane white shirt with the sleeves rolled up a little bit and about three undone button exposing his skin and neatly tucked into his black trouser. How is that even possible for someone to look that good by just wearing that.

I saw him checking me out and my heart skipped a beat. For some reason I felt really comfortable under his gaze and not disgusted when other guys look at me that way.

He was still looking at me and I cleared my throat to get his attention

"You look amazing" was the first thing he said making me blush a little

"And you look ho....I mean you look nice too" 

"Thanks. Shall we" he said with a smile as he opened the front seat door for me.

"Thank you"

He drove in silence both of us lost in our thoughts

"So about earlier, I'm really sorry" he finally broke the ice.

"Is okay"

" No it's not... It's just that I'm not really myself lately"

"Jay" I called his name locking our eyes for a while

"It's okay"

"Yeah. Thank you" he said focusing back on the road

He pulled up in front of a huge mansion made of glass.

He got out and walked to the other side and opened the door.

You could see the interior of the mansion and it was amazing. It was three storey. And there was a pool in the middle of the first floor. And the smooth facade beautiful blends the indoors to the outdoors, which gives aesthetic vibe.

He led the way inside and a very handsome man welcomed us. He had the same oceans eyes as Jay. And immediately knew that was his brother.

"Hi, you must Hailee. I'm Chris. Nice to meet you." He introduced himself extending his hand.

"Nice to meet you too" I said taking his hand for a hand shake.

" I now see why Jay can't get over you" he said looking at his brother with a big smile but he didn't have dimples.

Jay gave him a look that shouted "what the hell". 

" Can we eat now? I'm starving" Jay tried to change the subject still looking at his brother and it worked.

"Yeah of course" Chris said still smiling as he led the way to the dinning table.

Food was already served. Lots of them making my stomach silently growl.
