Team Selection

Today is the day for selecting the teams. There were a total of eight students who were listed for the competition and each team must have at least three to four members.

Miss Lin was here to get the name of the two teams, so she could submit their name for the competition. "As there are a total of eight members, you can form your own team and each team should have at least three members. Give me your team and members' name after school." With that Miss, Lin left them to make their own team.

"I will be the leader of the team if you are interested in joining my team, then I can guarantee that our team will definitely make up to the finals." There were a total of three who raised their hand to join his team. There was a smug look on his face. Chen Yiren looked at the faces of the remaining people. Chen Yiren walked toward Su Anya. "Student Su, we are from the same class. I hope that you will join my team so that we can win the glory for our school." He said in a very gentle tone that there would be anyone who could deny the offer. He knows that she is very good with coding and can be useful for a while.

"Brother Yiren, how could you let her join her team? She will only become a burden." Lu Qing said with a hint of disdain.

"Lu Qing, she is our classmate and we should help each other." Chen Yiren said as if he was helping Su Anya.

Su Anya sneered in her heart. She knew what kind of gentleman he was. She ignored both of them and walked toward the remaining three people. "Hello, I am Su Anya and I would like to join your team." She said very politely and sincerely.

Three of them had never expected that she would join their team.

"You really have great taste. It would be a pleasure to have you on our team, pretty lady." Chen Zhihui said with a charming smile.

The smile on Chen Yiren's face became stiff. He felt like someone had slapped his face. Lu Qing's face got twisted from anger, he pointed his finger toward her and said "How could you betray your class by joining another team."

Su Anya gave him a cold-eyed stare. She knew if she didn't handle this situation her life would become chaotic and she needed some peace in her life.

"Student Lu, in the student Chen team there are already a total of four members. If I were to join their team it would become a totally unfair competition. "Su Anya said timidly and looked at Chen Yiren."Student Chen, I know you are a very upright person and don't want people to raise fingers on you if you win the competition unfairly." She threw the hot potato toward him.

Chen Yiren gave her a restrained smile. "Student Su is right, if both the teams will have the same number of people then it will be fairer for both of us. It's a pity that you were not able to join our team. I wish your team good luck."

Su Anya gave him a grateful look and walked toward her team. "Oh, I don't know you have made a great sacrifice by joining our team." Chen Zhihui said in a low voice and gave her a wicked smile.

"After School at my place, we will discuss our project." Sun Li, another member of the team said.

Su Anya frowned, but she said nothing. She needs to visit her aunt.

As Su Anya enters the classroom everyone gives her a disdainful look. She knew it was going to happen. She just ignored them. 'It doesn't matter.'

She sat in her seat one girl shouted at her. "How could you betray us? You are a traitor. Get out of our class."

Bang, Su Anya got up from her seat and walked towards her, she gave a very intimidating aura. That girl got scared and started to move backward and her back hit the table.

Su Anya gets closer to her and gives her a wicked smile. "Sure." With that, she took her bag and walked out of the class.

Mr Li looked at the girl in front of him, sitting relaxed in the chair. "Student Su it's common to get into conflicts between classmates. It doesn't mean that you will change your class. It's just about four months and after that, you will be in college. Why are you making things complicated."

Su Anya straightened her back, her eyes became sharp. "Teacher Li, for you this matter might be small, but what would you do if I had to suffer from mental trauma? They were calling me a traitor just because I had joined another team, they also called me a cheater just because I once won that coding exam. But what have you done, you just ignore it because it is a very small matter 'a conflict between students. I'm not here asking for justice, please approve my transfer request so that I can spend my remaining four months peacefully."

Mr. Li was stunned for a moment, there was guilt in his eyes. "Alright, I will complete your transfer procedure. From tomorrow you can sit in class B. I will talk about this Teacher Wu."

Su Anya walked out of Mr. Li's office. Mr. Li pinched his eyebrow and looked outside the window.

Su Anya was standing in front of Sun Li's apartment. Shen Yue opens the door. "Oh Su Anya, please come in." Shen Yue is the third member of their team. She is a very shy person and looks cute.

Su Anya smiles at her and enters the house. "I'm sorry I forgive to introducing myself I am Shen Yue. You have already met Chen Zhihui and he is Sun Li"

Sun Li lives alone, as her parents need to travel to different cities due to their work.

Su Anya checks her watch, she has been sitting there for half an hour, but no one is discussing anything about the project. One is playing video games, one is sitting quietly with a do not disturb look and the little cute girl is sitting beside while hugging a pillow. She gets up from her sofa and turns off the switch of the video game.

"What the fuck." Chen Zhihui shot up and started to cry. He looked at Su Anya with a very angry look. "Why the hell did you switch off the game? I was going to level up my ranking."

Su Anya ignored him and sat down on the sofa and gave him a very cold look. "We all were here discussing the project." If not for this appointment she would be with her aunt.

"Hell with this project and you are already from our enemies class."

"You were already losing that game very badly, you might all have very free time to waste here, but my time is very precious. So stop behaving like you are on period and discuss the project. Otherwise mark my words we will not be able to clarify the prelims round."

What she said was true. In her past life, they were not even able to clarify the prelims round.

She took out a notebook from her bag and tore the page from it and made four chits of each name. She turned towards Shen Yue "Please select one chit."

Shen Yue blinks her eyes and picks one folded paper and gives it to her.

"The person whose name will be written in this chit will be the group leader and that's final. No one can object. Is it okay?"

"Whatever." Chen Zhihui said as he puffed his cheeks.

Su Anya looked at the remaining two and they were sitting there quietly and she took it as their consent.

She opens the paper chit and the name written on it is….
