"What do we have here?"
The grunt muttered as the Fuchsia City specialist finally showed up. There was a narrowing silence between them; only the howl of the wind from an empty street could be heard.
"Am I late to the party?" Janine asked Brock as she jumped from one of the roofs and landed safely near Brock.
"Almost," Brock stated.
"Ariados, come out." Janine said as she showed her ace to the grunts.
Brock, do you have any spare Pokemon to keep an eye out for him? Janine asked the fellow specialist.
Brock, at first, was confused about who she was referring to, but with her subtle nod to the direction that Yoake and Gardevoir went to, he nodded and took out another Pokemon. It was an Aerodactyle.
"Aerodactyle, keep an eye out on a trainer with a Gardevoir. They went that way. Make sure they're safe, okay?" Brock said to his Pokemon as he pointed his finger in the direction of the two-headed. It nodded and flapped its wings, slowly lifting itself to the sky to find the two.
"Let's be clear with that first. I don't want this battle to make us go to the wrong terms." Krook stated.
"Well, what do you want then?" Brock hesitated.
"We only want a talk, one criminal organization to another, especially with one of its executives." Krook stated. Janine quickly widen her eyes after hearing the words that Krook spouted from his mouth.
"Or I might say, Team Rocket executive?" Krook continued. Brock looked at Janine, knowing that she had no ties to any criminal organization because he knew her way before she became a gym leader, and later, a specialist.
Sorry to inform you, but I think you're talking to the wrong group of people. We're specialists. We are transparent and follow the orders of benevolence. So get out of my city and don't you or your grunts even dare to enter my city ever again. " Janine warned the grunts. Krook smirked and answered the specialist's caution.
"Okay, Miss Anzy, please accept my apologies before going berserk."
That name, that damn name, shook Janine to her core, but she quickly denied it as she looked to Brock and gave him a ready look.
"Steelix, Iron Tail! ", "Ariados, use X-scissors."
"Muk, Minimize." "Wheezing, Smokescreen."
As the battle between the specialist and the grunts begins, Yoake and Gardevoir continue to flee the scene in search of safety at either the gym or the Pokemon center. Gardevoir quickly turned around and saw the two grunts that were chasing them. She quickly noticed that one of them was about to throw a Voltorb at them, and her senses began to tell her that the Voltorb was about to
"Voltorb, Self-destruct." The grunt threw the Voltorb at them and quickly exploded.
Gardevoir quickly protects Yoake from the explosion. He turns around and sees Gardevoir forming a barrier to protect themselves from the explosion.
Gardevoir, psychic! Yoake told his Pokemon.
Her eyes glowed madly red as she drew in every psychic particle nearby, concentrated it into a ball of psychic energy, and threw it to the grunts. The psychic was a hit, and the two grunts tumbled from the motorcycles and rolled through the rough pavement, causing them to get some bruises on their bare legs and arms. One got a cut and was slowly bleeding.
The two continued to run away and tried to find the nearest Pokemon center to no avail.
"I should've kept Teleport." Yoake muttered as he regretted making Gardevoir forget teleport.
As he was getting tired from running, he realized that there might be another way to find the Pokemon center. He quickly takes out Fearow's pokeball and releases it from its pokeball.
"Fearow, can you find the nearest Pokemon center?" Yoake asked the Pokemon after showing itself from the Pokeball.
It nodded and slowly lifted itself from the ground to find the building that had a red roof on it and was a place where Pokemon were able to get some rest and be cured of sickness or diseases.
However, as Fearow was about to fly away from the two, a huge explosion occurred, and they saw it happening near the trainer. The Beak Pokemon quickly flew back to the trainer. The place was covered in white smoke. Its keen eye managed to make it easier to find the two, but it felt a sludge touching its wings. It quickly looked at the corner of its eyes and saw a very foreign Muk. Its sludgy hands quickly grab Fearow's neck and try to choke him. Fearow tried to make it fall from its body, but its greenish and yellow ooze were glued to Fearow's body.
The Pokemon had enough and decided to fly above the smoke and reach its top speed, the Muk was still holding on and Fearow saw an opportunity and quickly fall back to the ground with the Muk hitting the ground and finally making it fall from Fearow's body.
Fearow tries to find the two once more as it was getting worried about what happened to them, and as the smoke clears, the two were nowhere to be seen, and there was only one thing they saw, an Aerodactyle.
Meanwhile, Ariados jumped from the ground with its thin legs as it dodged an oozing wave of sludge from Weezing. Steelix, on the other hand, spits a gyroball from its mouth to the Muk.
Both Pokemon were heavily trained by the two specialists. They know damn well how to battle on their own, even without the command from their trainer.
"Muk, minimize once more!", "Weezing, self-destruct!"
Ariados quickly spits out white fluids from its mouth and jumped toward Weezing, it covered the Weezing with a sticky web and threw it toward Steelix, and Steelix slammed it with its tail and hurled it back to the grunts as it exploded in front of them. The two grunts withdrew their Pokemon, leaving Krook, the leader, to chuckle in defeat at the two specialists.
"You truly are impressive, Miss Anzu." Krook was mocked in defeat as he finally withdrew his Muk.
"For the last time, my name is Janine, not Anzu." Janine furiously corrected Krook.
"That's right, her name is Janine, not Anzu." Brock repeated. Krook smirked and gave a small chuckle.
"Admit it 'Janine', you're Anzu, a Team Rocket executive. I know what you look, act, Pokemon and ideas, and I know damn well that you and your grunts are looking for that boy-"
"Enough. Leave us alone or things will get ugly. " Brock warned Krook. He rolled his eyes and told his two grunts to give him a signal for them to finally leave.
"What was that all about?" Brock asked Janine, as he quickly saw how frustrated Janine was.
"Just forget about it."Janine sighed.
"Come on, we have to find the two. " Brock said, Janine agreed and the two withdrew their Pokemon and find the two but before they can leave their position, they saw Aerodactyle with Yoake's Fearow.
"Oh no..." Brock quickly realized that the two were in danger.
"Shit shit shit... Erika is going to kill me. Quick, we have to find them. " Brock cursed.
"Aerodactyle, do you know where the two went?" Brock asked his Pokemon. Both the Fearow and the Aerodactyle shrugged their shoulders.
"Wait… your Gym. I told them to find you-" Brock was quickly interrupted as a huge explosion was heard at a faint distance. The two flying Pokemon saw smoke at a distance and there was a tingling sensation that Fearow felt.
"Come on, they might be there." Janine said. Brock nodded and the two Pokemon slowly fall to the ground and gave their backs to the two. Brock sat on Aerodactyle while Janine sat on Fearow.
The two slowly lifted themselves from the ground and flew to the origin of the smoke. Brock was looking around to see if the two were anywhere to be seen at all.
As they flew to the smoke, they saw a Pokemon levitating in mid-air. It was a Gardevoir but it has black yet clear wings on its back, instead of its usual green hair, it has black, and its dress was in dark black.
"What the hell is that thing?" Janine asked as she saw the Gardevoir.
The Gardevoir turned around and revealed itself to the two. The wings, the black hair, and the dress were all there, but there was one thing that made it bizarre: its right arm was a big white blade.
