Part 3

Aten opened his eyes. A gentle breeze from the beautiful wind moved his hair. He looked around to see hundreds of the lion-like creatures.

Aten picked up his sword. "Who are you?!" Aten yelled. "We should kill him! He is with the gods of the light universe!" One roared.

"No, we all eat him!"

Aten slammed his sword into the ground and held out his arms. "I am Aten, rightful ruler of the Akie empire! I was betrayed! I don't serve anyone! Not even those frauds!" Aten yelled.

All of the lions roared in protest. Silence fell as there was a raor in the distance. Aten turned around to see a huge male walking towards everyone. It stood at 14 feet tall on all fours, a giant mane around its neck, bright golden fur, yellow eyes, and Crystal teeth.

Aten stood tall as the lion stood over him. The others ones were in a bowing stance. "I…am King Amaron , ruler of the Nomian lions. What is it that you want…god warrior?"

"You think I'm a warrior sent by the gods?"

"You smell like them." Amaron chuckled. "This is not the time for games, cat! The gods are aren't gods. There is only one, and he-I mean she…is gone."

Amaron moved closer towards Aten and sniffed him. "Bring him to the temple. We will know his future from the seeker. However, if you are lying, I will personally rip that little head from your body."

Aten laughed and followed the giant creature.

Aten was led into a giant cave with bright glowing lights. "This place…is flowing with aura." Aten said.

Amaron continued walking and stopped. "You are in our home. Behave, please."

Aten could tell Amaron and the other lions were holding in their powers. (This king…could give even me a good fight. I'm still learning my abilities but, he seems powerful.)

"This is the dark universe…why haven't you all killed me or tried?" Aten asked.

Amaron continued to walk and took a deep breath. Because of the legend. It goes back…far. It is told that a warrior not of our universe will fall into our world. That…will be the start of what they call "the god war". Amaron explained.

"So, you are having someone look into the future?" Aten asked. "And how did your species come up with that legend? Why are you here if you aren't evil? All dark universe beings are evil from heart."

"The gods banished my species after they betrayed us!" Amaron roared. "My people were thriving and lived on our own world! The gods were jealous of our riches and rise in energy. They wiped out a good amount of my race then banished the rest into the dark universe. Now, they say the dark universe is evil…but, it's just not true…not at all. The dark universe is where they throw away their evidence." Amaron explained. He grunted and sped up.

(I…have to get everyone out of there!)

Aten walked into another hole and sat down in front of a very old looking lion. The lion had grey fire and white eyes.

"Give me your paw." The seer said.

Aten looked at his hand and let out a little laugh. He held out his hand and waited for the seer to determine the future.

"Oh, ahahaha! A great…great fight will take place. The universe will shake and spread. Worlds will be created. A new terror will unfold after all the tragedies."

"What about my people, father? Do we die?"

"No, my son. We thrive…we live for years to come."

Amaron purred at walked out of the cave. "Is that all, lion?" Aten asked. "Yes, warrior. You are the one…who will change everything. We must prepare. There is much I must show you. Now, come."

Aten was riding Amaron throughout the dark universe. The two managed to talk with other species and gain their trust.

"I never knew…that the dark universe would be so kind." Aten said.

"You were lied to. All we want is revenge. The gods did this to themselves. Soon…we will be ready. And don't you think they won't send someone to look for you. Maybe a warrior to start." Amaron explained.

"I already know who they will send. It's inlay been a day and I believe he is a walking aura prodigy."

The millions of soldiers all made a path in front of the golden castle. Azzoro stood proud in his gold armor.

"We have given orders to arrest Adin and his wife. Also…we have reason to believe that your brother is now in the dark universe." A god explained. "You will take a small portion of this army. You'll have warriors,ships, and weapons. Do this for your people…kill Aten."

Azzoro paused for a minute and agreed. "If my brother really is a traitor…then I shall kill him."

Lithra flew towards the two. "I can't sense him. But, I remember having a feeling in a certain part of the universe. I will give you its location." Lithra flew down and kissed Azzoro on his left cheek.

Adin sat in his room. He was reading books until he sensed something. "Curse it. Seems like they are on the way…"

Aten walked with Amaron through his home. "This place is amazing…I'll have to admit it." Aten said.

"Tell me about it. We shall go over the DNA vow tomorrow." Amaron said as he layed down.

"Huh?"

"You said you can't really control your power, right? I shall give you a vow. You will have access to the other Nomians and your potential will be unlocked. It's up to you to put the work in for it. But, for now, sleep."

"You trust me that much? How do you know I won't just run away?"

"Run? You're a Akie. I think you'd rather die than run." Amaron laughed. Aten let out a little chuckle and sat beside the giant creature.

"Tell me, friend. Do you know your parents?" Amaron asked. "Nope. Don't have any. I was born from aura. It's a dark aura and destroys things. One reason I barley use my powers." Aten explained.

"I see. It's funny…because the seer isn't my real father." Amaron explained. "I have features of my species but he has told me that I'm different. This yellow Crystal that is in my head gives me my life energy.."

"Interesting." Aten added.

"But I try to learn more about myself. It's the only thing to do."

"I understand what you mean. I just…question my existence. Life…isn't fair. It is also cruel. At the end of moon…we are all children just trying to do our best in this life." Aten said while closing his eyes.

Amaron was stunned and amazed. He had never met anyone who thought the way Aten thought. "You…are a rather interesting being, Aten."

Azzoro and his army arrived to the planet. "We make this quick and get out. Aten is the one the gods want. We will kill him or take him in alive. Soldiers! Are you ready?"

All of the soldeir slammed their spears. "WHOOH!!!" They all yelled. "Then, let the battle begin!" Azzoro yelled as the millions of solderis jumped from the ship and made their way to the planet.

It took Azzoro three days to gather his army and reach Aten's location. Aten and Amaron at the time were sleeping but have been training with each other nonstop.

Azzoro and his arms landed on the planet. It was dark and quiet. Azzoro put on his golden mask and marched towards the kingdom. "Stay close to someone. Spread across the planet and find Adisa!"
