Nahida arrived upstairs and found Shirou using a cloth to clean the floor. He used a scented soap that Nahida loved to use.
"Is everything going well?"
"Yes, everything is fine. But those guys are pretty disgusting, they left their clothes all over the floor and also smeared the bed with something slimy. I changed all the sheets."
"You better not want to know what that liquid is."
"I already know what it is; It's disgusting. And the woman downstairs, who is she?" Shirou was genuinely curious, primarily because of the woman's attractive appearance. She was wonderful.
And the way she looked at Nahida was different. Shirou noticed that.
And from the way Nahida stopped him from going to the table and went instead, he believed Nahida and Bulma were involved somehow. Are they a couple? If so, Nahida was a lucky guy.
"Her name is Bulma, she's a girl who has stayed here at my hotel before. Isn't she beautiful?"
"Is she just a customer? Are you sure?"
"What do you mean by that?"
"The way she looked at you... And you stopped me from going over there to talk to her."
"Let's say I'm quite interested in her, but I don't know how to do it..."
"What? She doesn't like you?"
"I have a bit of difficulty getting close. I'm not embarrassed, but I'm not very good at starting conversations with women."
"You should just say what you want, as long as it's not stupid." Nahida looked at Shirou's serious face and touched his shoulder. "Thanks for the tip," Nahida said, mocking Shirou.
He knew that Shirou hooked up with many girls in his world. Nahida wondered which 'route' he was on.
'But still, getting relationship tips from a teenager is a bit...' Nahida smiled bitterly and went downstairs.
By the time he reached downstairs, Bulma's food had been served, and she was enjoying the fish made by Lucky. Nahida approached the table carefully.
"How's the food?"
"Hm? It's quite tasty. That guy is quite a talented chef."
"We can say he's a robot created for cooking. His food is probably some of the best in the world." It wasn't a lie. Just like Shelly, Lucky was probably a machine created by the system.
But that was good; Nahida didn't have to worry about Lucky's fatigue or his feelings.
"A robot?"
"It's just a figure of speech, he's not a real robot. Okay, enjoy your food, I'll be at the reception if you need help."
"Ah, before you go, can you give me your contact so I can call you later?" Bulma showed Nahida a strange device. Sweat trickled down his back.
'What do I do?' It was a strange 'cell phone.' He didn't know what to do. Bulma probably wouldn't be able to call him.
####
Nahida managed to get away from it somehow. He said he didn't have a device to contact Bulma. She looked disappointed.
So, Bulma finished eating and then went to her room. Nahida spoke to her again the next day. Nahida woke up early, so he was there when Bulma was leaving.
They said goodbye, and Bulma said she would be back later. Nahida knew she had a house and didn't need to stay at his hotel, so he knew Bulma would come over just to see and talk to him.
'It's incredible that she liked me that much.' Nahida was finishing setting up the tables when the other guests came down. They greeted Nahida and then left the hotel.
Nahida wanted to take this opportunity to leave the hotel, but he needed an employee to serve the customers. If Shirou were there, he would go, but Shirou would only arrive in the afternoon.
"Right, let's have a look at this."
[ Available Rooms - 4/6 ]
[ Hotel Level - 7 (320/1800 ]
[ Guest satisfaction - 142/10000 ]
"The satisfaction number is low, so experience gain is too bad. It will take a long time to reach level 10 like this." Nahida sighed and looked at his points. He had already gathered more than 200 points.
It was enough points to increase the reception and also the 'dining room.'
Increasing each part of the hotel would cost 100 points, so he spent 200 points to increase both areas. First was the 'dining room.' As soon as he bought it, the building shook a bit.
No significant change happened. The room increased slightly, and now he could add two more tables. He could have seven tables, but they would hardly all be used as they only had a few guests.
The reception area, on the other hand, has seen a more significant increase. Before, there was little space between the wall and the counter, but now the space has doubled. Now Nahida could even put chairs at the reception desk if the guests needed to wait.
But that was not necessary for the time being. The important thing was that the reception is bigger now, and Nahida didn't feel so "suffocated" behind the counter. "Speaking of which, should I put a fan in here?"
It would be an excellent addition to his reception, but Nahida dismissed the idea. A fan would only help a little. What he should put in his hotel were air conditioners! Yes, that would be perfect.
"We've never had one in our house, and we've never had air conditioners in this hotel. Does the system offer that?" Nahida opened his upgrades catalog and found what he needed there. But unlike what he expected, he had to buy one at a time.
He had expected an upgrade that would add air conditioning to all rooms and areas of the hotel, but... He had to buy them individually and select where the air conditioner would be placed.
The big problem is that each air conditioner costs 50 points! He would have to wait several hours to buy one! And to get his entire hotel in a pleasant temperature, he would need several of them!
Fortunately, the hotel was not too hot. Although it was summer in Japan and very hot outside, inside the hotel, it was not too hot.
"But 50 points for air conditioning? That's a lot. But it's better than spending thousands of yen on several of them." Air conditioners were not cheap, so Nahida should be thankful that he could buy them using points.
