"But what about the new skill? The one Ilumia gave you after blessing you? Can't you use that?"

Lucien squinted, trying to recall the new skill Farty mentioned. He didn't remember having such an ability, but if Farty said he had it, there must be some truth to it.

The Sage of Deprivation drew closer, one of its heads opening its mouth to reveal a magic circle. The circle began to glow, preparing to cast a spell that would stun Lucien, making it easier for the creature to drain his soul.

"Damn..." Lucien muttered as he quickly pulled up the information on his new skill. "Lumen Transfiguration," he read aloud.

Lucien was taken aback. He checked his Energy Essence—he had around 4500 left. This skill would drain him dry in just over two hours.

"What the hell does this skill even do?" he muttered in frustration.
