Chapter Sixty One

The carriage arrived at the vampire kingdom the next day's evening.Diana and her subordinates got down from the carriage and they headed towards the palace.

The head maid came to welcome them when she got the information of their presence.She had been told before by the human royal family when they got to the palace in the afternoon that their princess will be arriving later.

Diana followed quietly after the palace head of maid while having a fake innocent smile on her face.She was led to the dinning hall by the head of maid who had sent her maids away.

The human princess got to the dinning hall to see her family eating with the vampire royal family in the company of other two faces she doesn't know.

The people chatting and eating all paused to look at the person coming in.

Daina straightened her back after putting on her princess aura.She greeted the vampire king,the women and men sitted and her family present before walking confidently to the empty chair that had been drawn for her by the butler.

King Solomon nodded in satisfaction when he saw how bold and royalful the human princess is.He had thought of her being timid and fearful since that is the normal reaction he usually got from meeting a human for the first time.He bore his predative gaze into the princess expecting her to flinch on her seat but she didn't,he liked that.He really wish Ephraim's bride will also be like that or else it would have been a loss for his son.

Diana's fist clenched around the cutlery she was using to eat her served food when she felt the king's gaze on her.If she had been other humans,she would have flinched in fear but she is not.She is the only human princess and also the most beautiful woman in whole her kingdom aside from that rumoured witch bitch.She would have thought the vampire king was interested in her but the thought immediately fanished when she felt two jealous gaze on her,she knew that that must not have been the case.The king must have been discerning her.Her thought was broken when a question was directed to her.

"What's your name?" Aurora asked arrogantly so that she could draw back the King's attention to her.

"I am princess Diana" she answered nonchallantly without showing her respect since she didn't respect her.

Raphael and Ares smirked when they heard the feisty reply of the princess.She is really crazy seeing how bold she could reply a vampire,even so in the presence of the king.The vampire that is capable of snapping her neck within a second.

Queen Dena glared at her daughter cause it wouldn't be nice to start a war over a small issue when the alliance will be solidified a day after tomorrow.Diana just ignored her mother's warning glare before continuing with her meal.Daniel and King Otis has already decided to lay low in the vampire kingdom until the wedding took place,so they ate quietly without interrupting.

"King Otis i hope the journey was not stressful at all?" King Solomon asked the human king to change the room's mood.

"Not at all,the journey was smooth" King Otis replied.

Aurora dropped down her cutlery before storming out of the dinning hall angrily.

Everyone looked towards her storming figure before been called back to the room by Ruth's pleading words.

"Don't mind concubine Aurora's behavior.I think she is just in a bad mood today and you know how it is for vampires,the emotions we feel is always doubled" she said before following after Aurora.

Raphael smirked evily in his mind.Things will be really interesting in the palace for the little time the humans will be spending with them(^_^;).

The human royal family stood up after wishing the king and the sitted princes good night.The butler led the way to the rooms that has been prepared for them that was already filled with the luggages that they brought along.

Kathi and Keith also bid the king and the princes good bye before going to their rooms that was shown to them.The princes also went to their wings to rest for the day.

Aurora was fuming with anger when she got to her room.She continue to pace up and down her trying her best to keep her anger in check.She shouldn't be getting mad because of the insolent behavior of the human princess,she is not worth it.

"What are you doing here?" She asked King Solomon coldly when she felt his presence in her room.

"I am here to appease my love" the kind stated.

"Ohh,now you know you have a love?" She asked him angrily.

"Calm down my love" the king said as he moved closer to her.

"Don't you dare fucking tell me to calm down!!!" She shouted back at him.

"Woooh,easy dear.Why are you so upset? What made you so annoyed? It has been long i have seen you like this" The king commented jokingly.

"You don't have the right to joke with me right now" Aurora said as her green pupil dilate because of the amount of anger she was feeling.

The king lifted his hands up thereby telling her he doesn't know what is going on,he is innocent.

"Don't you dare act innocent.Why were you staring at that good for nothing princess as if you wanted to devour her?!!"

King Solomon smiled when he got her point,she is just jealous and get opened his mouth to reply...

"Stop! Let me finish.Why have you decided to just over look the human princess disrespectful behavior? I'm i not that insignificant to you?"..............
