CHAPTER 53

ENID'S POV

I woke up with scratches all over my body and the occasional bruise, as well as dark circles that reached down to my heels. How could it have taken me so much time and effort to transform Wedns into someone more animated?!! I had an accumulated anger that I didn't quite know how to express, I was looking at her and I just had the urge to throw her over the balcony. Maybe she was right and I was ready to join the Addams family officially.

- Wednesday: Don't look at me like that, you're the one who did this to me - she crossed her arms - I'm not going to put up with any stupid comments from others.

-Enid: You seem like a very calm person and tonight has been horrible... How can you possibly not put up with face masks and hair treatments if you endured being stabbed?!! - I complained - It just doesn't enter my head!

-Wednesday: It's a different kind of pain - she said without any expression on her face - But that doesn't matter now, let's start acting - she said approaching the door.

-Enid: Do you think Y/N will have met with her by now? - I couldn't help but show the worry on my face.

-Wednesday: Enid, she will be fine - she turned in my direction - Y/N has positive feelings only towards you, you have nothing to worry about. If there's one thing that characterizes us Addams, it's our loyalty. As much as Brooke is beautiful and tries to please her, it will have no significance for my cousin because she only has eyes for you.

Seeing that the two Addams had already got down to work with the plan, I decided to hurry up and publish an ad promoting the dance in a new location. -Enid: Oh, I'd love to - I smiled - But I can't, I have to organize the dance in the forest clearing - I was going to leave but I stopped in my tracks - Would you like to help me? I need beautiful lights to create atmosphere and people to transport everything I need.

- Yoko: I have no choice but to accept, right? - I pulled out my claws and she nodded while smiling - Well, every day more like your girlfriend. I'll call the others to help us get everything we need there.

-Enid: Thank you, I love you - I winked at her before continuing to hand out leaflets about the dance among the students - Read the paper I'm handing you well! The dance will not be held at Nevermore, it will take place in the forest clearing - I was promoting it until I ran out of more brochures to hand out. I sighed when I thought about how the other two would be doing, everything had to go well without anyone knowing so that panic wouldn't spread.

Y/N'S POV

Brooke circled me a couple of times while looking me up and down repeatedly. The truth is, it was starting to make me uncomfortable. I swallowed thickly and crossed my arms waiting for her to give me an answer and I also kept an eye out in case my mother decided to stop by and say hello.

- Brooke: Why are you asking me to the dance? What happened to the little wolf? - she looked me straight in the eyes - Have you argued?

-Y/N: Something like that, she has talked to her ex again - I lied and at the same time no.

- Brooke: - she smiled and started nodding - I don't want to say I told you, but indeed... I told you so! Oh, Y/N. From the beginning you should have listened to me, I am the only one who has always valued you and recognizes all your efforts - she came up to me and stroked my face with the back of her hand - Have you stopped? Have you broken up with Sinclair?

-Y/N: Of course - I lied again and tried to stay relaxed so that my voice sounded confident - How was I going to date someone who still sees with her ex?
