"Her going missing looking for a way out of the fog might not cause any suspicion with the populace actually." Reading more on the page, it seems 23% of the people that Maria took on the tour have vanished.
"Maria reported that these people had slipped into the fog and might have found a way out. She tried following but she said it was a one person only thing. However the truth is she used their bodies as test materials. Living people couldn't leave, but cut off body parts can be tossed into the fog."
