[Third person POV]

Random Guy: "Delivery for Avatar Korra"

They saw someone delivering a large basket of items with flowers and sets them next to Korra

Random Guy: "Tarrlok sends his compliment and urges you to reconsider his offer" he said

Korra:"(sigh). Tell him I haven't change my mind

the man bowed and walks off. Iori questioned Korra.

lori:"What happened? what is all this about?" he asked with a raised brow

Korra sighed again and said

Korra:" it's this guy who works with Tenzin at the council and he keeps on urging me to join his Task Force." she said

Mako:"Is that why you haven't been showing up in practice?"

Korra:"Yeah..." she said sadly

lori:"Hn... I better get going. I had someplace to be" he said

Korra:"Oh, sure wanna hang out again when your free?" Korra asked

lori nodded and left the Air Temple and started going to the Future Industries to meet Hiroshi Sato. After lori left Korra looked at Jinora and Ikki with a teasing grin. She raised an eyebrow and asked

Korra:"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" she asked

Jinora:"Ohh~ just 'hangout' huhh~. Sounds like you want to go on a date with lori." she said with a teasing grin still present on her face

Korra blushed and she started walking towards her room while Jinora and Ikki laughed at her reaction

[Future Industries]

lori arrived and saw Asami waving at him and was waiting for him

lori: "Did I arrived late?"

Asami:"Hehehe. No you got here in time. Now come on let's go!" she said, as she grabbed lori's hand and started guiding him towards her father in a factory

Inside he saw workers examining the Satomobile for it to be lined up and he saw Hiroshi Sato overseeing everything and he saw Asami and lori

Asami:"Dad. This is lori, the guy who I was telling you"

Hiroshi: "Ah, yes. Hello young man I thank you for saving my daughter that day. You have my gratitude." he said

lori:"Pleasures mine Mr. Sato" he said with a nod

Asami then asked

Asami:"Hey lori, I was wondering if you would accompany me to the Pro Bending Tournament?"

lori:"Hm. sure if your father is ok with it"

Hiroshi:"Hahaha. Don't worry I'm ok with it you two have fun" he said

lori:'I should help Korra and the others with the championship pot, ever since my job with Chief Beifong I amassed quite a lot of money, so doing this will make Amon do the same thing in Canon and by giving the Fire Ferrets a helping hand' he said in thought

[The next day]

The same thing happened in Canon with Tarrlok sending more gifts to Korra like a car, still trying to make her join his Task Force and Korra is getting annoyed and frustrated with this. She talked to the person who is delivering the gifts to stop and tell Tarrlok to stop what he's doing but the person said that Tarrlok had thrown a Gala in her honor, she frowned at it and Tenzin too frowned. She invited Mako and Bolin and Iori too to the Gala since she is allowed to bring guest

[City Hall]

Korra alongside Mako, Bolin, Tenzin and his family entered the building and they saw banners with the picture of Korra and was bustling with people and they started clapping for Korra as soon as they saw her.

[Korra POV]

Bolin: "Wow so many people for this party and (Gasp) FOOD!" Bolin said and starts running towards the food

Mako:"Bo'! stop running and shut up" he said while covering his face due to people are staring at them and starts catching up to Bolin leaving Korra and the others behind

Korra:"I can't believe this is all for me"

Tenzin:"I'm not sure what Tarrlok's planning, but keep your guard up. it's not like him to throw a party just for the fun of it" Tenzin said

We see Tarrlok walking towards Korra and Tenzin

Tarrlok:"So glad you could make it Avatar Korra"

Tarrlok:"If you'd excuse us, the city awaits it's hero" addresses to Tenzin and walks off with Korra

Tenzin starts to look around and found Meelo and he gasped in surprise

Tenzin:"Meelo! No, that's not a toilet! Oh dear." he said while covering his eyes and walks away

scene change to Korra and Tarrlok

Tarrlok:"Korra, it's my pleasure to introduce Republic City's most famous industrialist, Hiroshi Sato" he said, introducing Hiroshi Sato

Korra:"Nice to meet you"

Hiroshi: (Bows)"were all expecting great things from you" he said

Korra:"Right. (looks down sadly) greatness

Hiroshi:"(Gestures to Asami) this is my daughter, Asami"

Asami:"It's lovely to meet you. lori told me much about you"

Korra:"Wait, you've met lori? How did you two meet?" i questioned

Asami:"Oh, I've met lori when he caught a thief and saved me" she said

Korra:"Oh..ok"

Bolin and Mako walked towards Korra and Asami

Bolin: "Hey! Korra the foods here delicious! you gotta try some!" he said while eating a chicken leg

Korra:"Hey guys, this is Asami the daughter of Hiroshi Sato"

Mako:"No way, Hiroshi Sato, THE Hiroshi Sato the one who created the Satomobiles"

Asami:"(giggle) yup he's the one. You must be Mako and Bolin from the Fire Ferrets right?"

Mako:"Yup that's us" he said

Asami:"By the way have you seen lori?"

Korra:"Nope, haven't seen him. He said he will catch up" I said

[Third person POV]

"Sorry for making you all wait" They heard lori

They turned to greet him but stopped and saw what he was wearing

lori is wearing that is similar to his classic outfit, but with significant alterations; the color of his coat and pants were swapped, his coat's gold buttons were changed into silver, two zippers were added at the front of the coat, black belts on the side of his coat, two belts were added on each of the sleeves of his pants like his KOF XIV, and the Yasakani crest marked on the back shrunk down to the shoulder area.

Korra and Asami were starstruck and both were blushing

'He just keeps getting cooler and handsome' Korra and Asami said in thought

Bolin:"hey man nice clothes!" Bolin said in his usual cheery tone

lori nodded and starts walking towards Mako

lori: "Mako, I went to the arena and I paid the championship pot for the Fire Ferrets" he said

Mako, Bolin, and Korra's eyes widen

Korra: "Wait how did you have that much money?"

Iori: "My job pays good" he said bluntly

Bolin: "Really! Thanks man your the best!"

Mako:"Yeah, thanks a lot!"

the two brothers were ecstatic and all they have to worry about is is to win it

Tarrlok:"Chief Beifong, I believe you and Avatar Korra have already met."

Lin:"Just because the city's throwing you this big to-do. Don't thinks you're something special."she said glaring at Korra sternly

Iori:"Hello, chief. Got a job for me?"

Lin:"Hey kid and no there's nothing. I'll call you when there is. Also how did got invited here?"

Iori:"I got invited here by Korra" he said gesturing Korra

Lin:"Hmmm. Alright, do me a favour will ya. keep an eye on her"

Iori:"Hn." That was all he said

Lin:"(turns her attention to Korra) You've done absolutely nothing to deserve this." She said and walks away

Korra glares at Lin as she leaves, but her look saddens as she thinks of her words.

Iori:"Don't mind her words. Just keep doing what's right and you'll prove her wrong"

Korra:"T-Thanks Iori..." She said, blushing a little and smiled

Tarrlok and Korra are now seen walking toward a stair, where a lot of reporters are waiting. Many guests are present in the background. As soon as the media notices Korra, they rush for the stairs and start bombarding her with questions.

Tarrlok:"If you'd be so kind, they just have a couple of questions" he said to Korra

Korra:"But..."

Tarrlok pushes her forward

Reporter:"Avatar Korra, you witnessed Amon take away people's bending firsthand. How serious a threat does he pose to the innocent citizens of Republic City?"

Korra:"I think he presents a real problem." She said slightly confused

Reporter:"Then why have you refused to join Tarrlok's task force? As the Avatar, shouldn't you be going after Amon?"

Korra:"Well, I ..."

Reporter:"Why are you backing away from this fight?"

Korra got offended on what the reporter said, she retorted back saying

Korra:"What? No! I've never backed away from anything in my life!"

Reporter:"You promised to serve this city, aren't you going back on that promise now?"

Reporter:"Do you think pro-bending is more important than fighting the revolution?"

Reporter:"How do you think Avatar Aang would have handled this?"

Korra is getting pressured by the bombardment of questions as she is confused, annoyed, and intimidated

Reporter:"Are you afraid of Amon?"

Korra snapped from hearing this and yelled

Korra:"I am not afraid of anybody! If the city needs me then ... (Gestures to Tarrlok) I'll join Tarrlok's task force and help fight Amon.

Tarrlok goes to Korra and said to the reporters

Tarrlok:"Theres your headline, folks"

Cameras start flashing, Tenzin looks down in disappointment of not figuring out what Tarrlok's plotting. Bolin and Mako look at each other, confused. The other guests in the scene also look confused except Asami, who is still smiling and looking forward while standing besides Iori, Iori's face is blank and didn't say anything but he's thinking of following Korra when she challenges Amon. Tarrlok smiles mischievously as Korra looks down with a sad expression when she realizes that she has been tricked.

[Scene change outside City Hall]

Korra is seen twiddling her thumbs and looking sad.

Tarrlok:"My fellow task force deputies, tonight we will execute a raid on an underground chi-blocker training camp located in the Dragon Flats borough. According to my sources, there is a cellar underneath this bookstore, where Equalists train chi-blocking in secret" he said

Scene changes to the bookstore from above while a large car with a water tank and filled with task force members in a kneeling position drives toward its location. Once stopped, the task force members jump out and up against the wall. Korra looks through an opening at the bottom of the wall and sees several men and woman training and learning chi-blocking techniques.

On the opposite wall lays a large poster with a portrait of Amon staring over the room. Korra has a flashback to her dream at the beginning of the episode where Amon is reaching toward her. Korra gasps with fear, but puts a tough look on her face. She stands up and looks at Tarrlok for the signal. Tarrlok nods and raises his hand to show his fingers outstretched. He hand signal them for the go. A task force member unwinds the top of the water tank and bends the water out. Another member bends the water toward him and to another task force member and another until all the waterbenders have water at their disposal. Two members of the task force are shown with water ready for the signal to attack. Tarrlok holding his hand out behind him, where a waterbender is holding the water waiting for a signal.

Korra breathes in and out and the scene changes to inside the room of chi-blocker trainers and trainees. Water floods the room and freezes, with the people inside surprised. The task force earthbenders break through the wall, causing several chi-blockers and trainees to leap back. Three task force earthbenders attack the people by throwing bricks. One earthbender pushes up a block of earth and slams it into a person slamming them into a wall. Tarrlok and Korra enter the room. Tarrlok throws someone against the wall using waterbending and freezes their head to the wall. A chi-blocker throws two grenades that have green gas filtering out of them, while another opens the door and escapes. Korra freezes the two grenades in ice and the leaking smoke clears up

Korra:"I'm going after those two"

Korra kicks open the door, the two chi-blockers left through and runs down the corridor. She trips over a wire and crashes to the ground. A chi-blocker leaps out from the ceiling and tries to grab Korra. Korra quickly gets up and kicks a large rock up from underneath the chi-blocker, hitting him in the chest. She falls back from the left over momentum, but another chi-blocker comes from behind her swinging a bola. Tarrlok came and blasts a stream of water at the chi-blocker and freezes him to the wall.

Korra:"Nice timing. Thanks Tarrlok"

Tarrlok:"We make a good team, Avatar

Korra:"Yeah we do"

Scene switches to a group of reporters, flashing cameras, and the people who participated in the task force standing over several captured chi-blockers. After another flash from a camera, Tarrlok is seen ushering a chi-blocker into the back of a police truck with several task force members on the side. Another flash reveals a row of task force members with Korra at the front with an annoyed look, Tarrlok answering a reporter's question through a microphone, the chi-blockers in the middle, and another row of task force members on the other side. The picture turns black and white and is zoomed out to show the same picture in a newspaper. Toza is sweeping his gym, while Bolin makes two plates of earth hover above his hands using earthbending and Mako is reading the newspaper

Bolin:"No Korra for practice again?" He asked

Mako:"Doesn't look like it"

[Iori's apartment]

In the living room, Iori saw the newspaper and is silent knowing Korra will challenge Amon.

He decided to follow Korra and fight Amon cause who wouldnt want to fight the villain in the first season of LOK. He wanted to fight Amon and expose him right then and there but not now cause Korra wouldnt have character development and mastered airbending. So after this he decided to help and train Korra to speed up her progress and stop Amon's plans.

The scene switches to a room full reporters with Tarrlok on stage behind a podium and Korra at his side

Tarrok: "Avatar Korra has bravely answered the call to action. With the two of us leading the charge, Republic City has nothing to fear from Amon and the Equalists"

Reporter: "Question for the Avatar! (Stands up) Amon remains at large. Why have you failed to locate him?"

Korra: "You want to know why? Because Amon is hiding in the shadows like a coward. (Grabs the microphone) Amon, I challenge you to a duel! No task force, no chi-blockers, just the two of us tonight at midnight on Avatar Aang Memorial Island. Let's cut to the chase and settle this thing, if you're man enough to face me"

[Republic City docks]

Tenzin flew on his glider and landed at the docks

Tenzin: "Korra, this is madness"

Korra: "Don't try to stop me and don't follow me. I have to face Amon alone" she said to tenzin while loosening the ropes of the boat

Tenzin: "This is all your doing!" he said angrily to Tarrlok

Tarrlok: "I tried to talk her out of it too, but she's made up her mind"

Korra guides the boat away from the docks to Avatar Aang Memorial Island using waterbending

Tarrlok: "We'll be watching the island closely. If anything goes wrong, I have a fleet of police airships ready to swoop down"

"Hey, Tenzin"

Tarrlok and Tenzin were startled and look behind them, seeing Iori

Tenzin: "Iori, what are you doing here?"

Iori: "Where's Korra? Is she at the island already?"

Tarrlok: "No, she just left young man and told us not to follow her"

Iori, just looked at Tarrlok and nod. When Tarrlok turned his gaze away from him, he secretly signals Tenzin to follow him. Tenzin who notices, discreetly walks away from Tarrlok and went to Iori whispers something to Tenzin

At Avatar Aang's statue Korra is standing at the roof where the statue is standing with her hair being blown by the wind waiting for Amon. At slight provocation, Korra gets into a battle stance. Korra was suddenly startled by the clock strikes midnight. Korra takes a deep breath to recover her focus and stares at the skyline as the lights start to dim she sits down, tired and exhausted from waiting

Korra: "(Yawns) Guess you're a no-show, Amon. Who's scared now?" She said, stands up and walks away while stretching

Korra walks past the base of the statue when suddenly a bola was thrown at her feet and she was dragged inside. As soon as she reaches the center, she quickly frees herself using firebending and saw she was surrounded by Equalist members forming a circle. She quickly fights back, but she was overwhelmed and got her arms tangled by whips preventing her to move away. She tried to bend fire and earth using her legs but her back was immediately chi-blocked

Korra lies down on the ground with several chi-blockers behind her. Two Equalists take her by the arms and force her to sit on her knees. She looks up and notices Amon entering the area

Amon: "I received your invitation, young Avatar"

Korra is frightened as Amon reaches out his hand to touch her face.

But suddenly he was attacked from behind by purple flames.

The Equalist members rushed towards their leader as he is grunting in pain by the sudden attack. They all looked towards the entrance and saw a red haired man with his hand out indicating he was the one who attacked

"Iori!" Korra yelled, surprised that he is here

"But, how did yo-"

"I knew you're gonna get ambushed when the clock strikes at midnight, getting caught off guard and getting yourself captured" he said

"Good thing I got help from Tenzin on getting a boat"

Amon gets back on his feet and says.

Amon: "I'm impressed, but sadly you won't get away unschated after I take away your bending" he said, as Equalists members started surrounding Iori

"Hehe. Please" Iori said while getting on a stance "Try me"

{READY}.....{FIGHT!}

Iori unleashed his flames around him, charged up his hand with Orochi Lightning and used 'Ankoku Raikouken' taking out the 5 members infront of him, frying them to a crisp. The Equalists and Amon saw this, started to get cautious. Iori punched one member at the solar plexus, at a daze he grabs him at the collar and used 'Gekirai' electrocuting his head. He was forced to block when suddenly attacked by 3 more members, trying to overwhelmed him by numbers, they got a few hits on him but he finished them by using '108 Yami Barai' burning them, making them scream.

One tried to sneak attack him using a whip but Iori grabbed it and tugged it hard making him lose balance and near him, he used

'212 Shiki Kototsuki In' leaving the member with a broken skull and burns, Iori looks at the rest of the members and charged to the ones holding Korra.

He used '129 Shiki Akegarasu' at the two, giving them claw marked wounds.

[Korra POV]

I was on my knees, using my arms for support

"Korra, you alright?" I looked up and saw Iori with his hand outstretched to me. "Peachy" I grabbed his hand as he pulled me up

"Can you fight?" He asked "I think I could still take down a few more" I said. He nodded and turn to look at the remaining members and Amon. "Try not to hold me back" "(scoffs) you wish" I said with a smirk as we run towards them.

[Third POV]

Iori rushed first as he delivered

'129 Shiki Akegarasu' at the front and Korra jumps forward and bends a wave of fire to them taking out. Amon seeing this rushes towards Korra but was intercepted by Iori, who shoulder bash him away from Korra. At this they started to circle each other whilst glaring at each other. At the background Korra is fighting the remaining members.

Amon: "You are a formidable opponent. A brutal one at that" he said, as he observed Iori while he was fighting his members

"Unfortunately you are no match t-"

"Shut the f*#k up and fight me" Iori said, glaring at him

Amon narrowed his eyes and started to throw fast but precise hits. Iori defended himself and started to counter attack. "(Grunt!)" Amon grunted as he was getting pushed back, he quickly hit Iori at his left arm outstretched as he punched him.

"(Argh!)" Iori felt his arm gone numbed but ignored it

Iori raised his left arm up and took a swipe downward, Amon thinks that it's a normal swipe and tried to block it but he was met by an '311 Shiki Tsumakushi'.

"Aaarrgghh!!" He painfully wailed as the flames were burning through his skin

Amon's robes were burned, his vambraces damaged, as he pants due to fatigue. 'I underestimated him!' he said in thought

'Time to finish this' Iori raises his arms up "Asobi wa owari da!" Then dash-slides towards Amon who tried to block but was unsuccessful

BAM!

BAM!

He punched Amon seven times, grabs his collar "Die!" He exploded him in a burst of flames.

{K.O!!}

After the flames died out Iori saw Amon's mask crack but still holding, the members saw this including Korra, were in shocked and fear.

The remaining members quickly used a smoke bomb enveloping the area as all of them quickly picked up their leader and ran

"(Cough,cough) dang, we missed the chance to tie him up" Korra exclaimed

"But they leaved behind the others" Iori said as Korra looked around and saw he was right. There were others unconscious, while some are bleeding and burned

"Yeah, guess your right" Korra said while panting for air

"Korra!"

They looked towards the exit with Tenzin entering with the police. As they entered they saw multiple Equalists unconscious, some are bleeding out and burned (courtesy from our MC)

Tenzin: "Quickly detain them and patch up their wounds. We need to know what are Amon's plans" he quickly ordered them and did quick work

Tenzin rushed towards the two and said

"Korra, thank the spirits you are alright" he said with a sigh of relief

"Yeah but I still got ambushed" she said sadly

"You were right Tenzin I ... I was scared and I ... I don't know what to do" she said covering her face using her hand to hide the tears

"(Gently) Korra, admitting your fears is the first and most difficult step in overcoming them" Tenzin said

Korra felt a hand on her shoulder, she looks and saw Iori reassuring her.

"Thanks, Iori I couldn't done it without you. If you didn't came, Amon would've taken my bending away" she said with a small smile on her face while wiping her tears

"There's no need to worry. We all got your back" he said with a small smile

"Let's go home" Tenzin said

With that they went on their separate ways.

At night Korra was stirring at her bed seeing her vision Sokka, Toph, Aang, and Yakone. She suddenly woke up

"Aang?"
