Chapter 16. Flesh Golem (2)

The next morning,

Tirus hadn't even opened his eyes yet he could feel the sunlight coming in the room through the window.

Magus cultivation not only made one's mind stronger but also execreted all the impurities from their bodies constantly, thus increasing their vitality and sharpening their senses.

'Really, this is just too addictive.' He thought. The feeling on getting stronger day by day made him euphoric beyong measure. Nowadays, if not for him requring resources and attending classes, he would simply stay inside his room and cultivate all day.

Keeping all these thought aside, he got up and readied himself.

.....

In the evening,

In Rick's dorm,

"Hey Tirus, I have already prepared all the necessary materials, now do your thing!" Rick said.

"Hm, so you want a humanoid flesh golem? You know I'd need a human soul to create a humanoid flesh golem, right?" Tirus inquired.

Creation of the flesh golem's was expensive and difficult. It used a real soul instead of a virtual soul. So, the soul used must be compatible with the flesh golem's body. For example, if one used a horse's soul to create a flesh golem with a humanoid body, then the golem wouldn't be able to walk on two legs and instead walk on four legs.

The fundamental reason for this would be the extreme incompatibility between the soul and the body.

The important thing was that the source of the soul was a horse, and a horse's instinct was to walk on four legs, but the Golem was a humanoid creature, so the horse's instinct would cause humanoid Golem to act in such a way. Although a magus could delete the memories, emotions, and most instincts from the soul, some deep-rooted instincts, like that of born instincts, were inevitably left behind.

"Of course I have the humans souls…hm…here!" Rick immediately rummaged through his room to find a crystal ball with a small, blue colored mist-like creature in it. It was a human soul. But it had already lost all of its facial features, a sign that all its memories, emotions, and most instincts have been erased.

"Great, now we can continue!"

"Get me one or two human bodies, blood intact."

"You can also bring a weapon or anything that you want integrated in the body of the flesh golem!" Tirus told Rick as he started making a formation with a strange blood-red paste that he brought.

Rick also brought two human corpses and 30 kg of iron for the body of the flesh golem.

The two complete human corpses were quickly divided into different parts, like, muscles, fats, internal organs, bones, and so on!

Now the next few steps were very tedious; these were, drawing the formation runes, splicing the muscles into a human form, implanting bones in the middle as support, adding molten iron to the bones to strengthen its toughness, and continuous use of special incantations to ensure that every part of the Golem was connected as closely as a natural creature. It took Tirus 4 hours to complete all these steps.

After Tirus had completed all these steps, finally, the main body of the Golem was built and now only the mist crucial part step was left, the infusion of the soul into this body.

"Rick, smear your blood on the crystal ball and put the golem body in the center of the formation." Tirus said as he prepared for the final step.

Rick did as Tirus told him to and quietly stood in a corner of his room.

Soon after that, Tirus started to chant in the ancient Byron language.

Ten minutes later, the entire room was filled with blood-red light as the azure mist-like soul fused into the flesh golem's body.

"The refinement was a success!" Tirus and Rick rejoiced.

"Rick, I have completed the refinement, you can pay, right?" Tirus asked jokingly.

"Yes, but first let me try giving it a command."

"Golem! Walk straight, 10 ten steps." Rick ordered his golem as the golem obeyed him and moved as he wished.

"You seem quite satisfied with this one, huh." Tirus said to Rick.

He had also thought of refining flesh golems for himself, but he soon abandoned the idea since he didn't need them right now.

After a while, Tirus returned to his dorm with a pouch filled with 50 magic crystals in his hand.

To be continued….
