Chapter-7

Regal and Scathach came out of the dungeon and headed straight to the guild, they had a bag in hand which consisted of magic stone. the advantures around them were shocked to see the bag as it was big but it only had some magic stones from the inventory. since if the people knew that Regal had a storage space it would be troublesome, to say the least.

[So you want to convert the magic stones into System points?] the system asked.

"How many System points will I get?" Regal questioned, with a blank face.

[428,504 if only the magic stones in your inventory]

"do it," Regal ordered and then willed the system shop to open.

[1. Potion of Health = 100

2. Potion of Mana = 100

3. Book of Magic (Basic) = 1500

4. Book of Combat (Basic) = 1500

5. Ring of communication = 4,000

6. Portals = 100,000

7. Grimoire of enchantment = 1 million

8. Staff of Krinox = 50 million

9. Death Goddess neckless = 10 million

...]

the shop had many things, even causal clothes. Regal looked at the shop and went through then, one thing caught his attention and that was the Staff of Krinox.

[Staff of Krinox

A Staff bath in Krinox's magic, and covered in Primordial Runes by Krinox himself.

Effect 1: Increase the recovery of magic by 5000%

Effect 2: Create a barrier around made from Primordial Runes at all times.

Effect 3: Absorb all damage and impact, which is stored and can be released at any time.

Effect 4: It forms a Domain when in Denger where the wielder is given absolute immortality for a brief moment.]

Regal reread the effects and was surprised, this staff of Krinox was very powerful. But right now not needed.

Regal continued to see what the shop had and when they reached the guild he stopped. Getting in they didn't care about the stairs or anyone and went to the exchange counter. Regal looked for Rose but it seemed like her shift was over.

it was just midday so there weren't many advantures, it could be said this place is deserted right now. placing the bag of magic stones on the counter, the staff behind quickly got to work. it took almost half an hour as the magic stones were from different floors and different monsters. Regal took the money placed on the counter and left with Scathach. it was almost 3 million vails.

Scathach shot a glare at a group of advantures who looked more like a thug, they were following them for the money. some of the thugs pissed their pants and some fainted.

---Tower of Babel top floor---

Freya stood at the edge of the guild, her gaze fixated on the two figures she had been tracking since they got out of the dungeon. Her breath was heavy, her cheeks flushed, and her eyes ablaze with desire.

Freya has long silver hair, purpler eyes, and white skin like that of fresh snow. She has a perfect golden ratio, enough to think that the golden ratio originated from her. Her clothes are in large part black and red, they expose most of her stomach and breasts. She also wears two flower-like ornaments in her hair. She is the most beautiful goddess.

"Otter," she called out, her voice carrying a blend of sensuality and command. From the shadows emerged a tall Boaz man, his presence imposing yet subservient. "Which familia do they belong to?" she demanded, her voice tinged with obsession.

"They are from the Buddha familia, my lady," Otter replied promptly. "It is a newly established familia, and the identity of its god remains undisclosed. The guild appears to have kept this information under wraps."

"Buddha familia?" Freya's brow furrowed in thought. "And what of those two?" Her demeanor shifted from heated intensity to contemplative curiosity, her eyes still fixed on the pair below.

"The young man is identified as Regal Titanborn, the captain of the familia," Otter reported. "And the woman is his vice-captain, Scathach. Unfortunately, further information on them is nonexistent. Our sources within the guild have yielded nothing on them, and anything else has been deliberately obscured by the guild. Their levels remain uncertain."

"What is the guild hiding now?" her frown deepened, Freya is a calculative and obsessive goddess, she likes to collect unique souls in the hope of finding her Odr. She is someone at the top of orario who holds the most power, she knows that what the guild is hiding is something that would cause waves which makes her curiosity grow more.

"When they go to the dungeon follow them." Freya ordered while getting up, "Go find the god named Buddha, I want to see what the guild is hiding with my own eyes." Freya's order was final.

Otter nodded and disappeared into the shadows.

---Buddha---

[Go behind that ruined building, she is there.]

As Buddha roamed without a specific destination, the voice of the system interrupted his thoughts. He paused, then altered his course towards the only ruined building nearby. There, behind it, stood two cloaked figures.

Recognizing them instantly, Buddha approached with his usual casual demeanor. "Hmm. How did you find me so fast?" he inquired, a faint smile playing on his lips, his amusement evident.

Buddha's thoughts raced as he observed Freya. 'It has only been like 10 minutes since the system told me to take care of her and now she is in front, this will go quicker than expected,' he mused inwardly, his prior knowledge of her evident.

Freya's response came swiftly, her gaze unwavering as she spoke. "It was easy. My children just needed to find a new god in the city, and you wearing that attire helped. Not to mention, you made quite the entrance in the guild this morning and roamed openly," she explained, her eyes scanning Buddha without rest.

"Makes sense," Buddha replied casually, his gaze shifting to Otter. "I didn't try to hide or even bother, so if you didn't find me, it would mean your simp army was just a waste, huh?"

Freya chuckled, showing no offense. "This is the first time I've seen someone hide their divinity completely, but your soul is clear to see for me," she remarked, meeting Buddha's gaze directly. Buddha remained uncaring, his demeanor unchanged.

"I will get to the point," Buddha said, his grin widening. "I know why you're here and all your little tricks, so I won't be playing your games. Also, your charm won't work, stop using it, it's annoying."

"Hmm? You aren't even slightly affected," Freya observed, her voice tinged with curiosity while raising her eyebrows. "And who said you have the option to play or not?"

"Well, I said," Buddha declared, stepping forward as he unleashed his divinity in full force. The ground shattered beneath him, and the already ruined building seemed on the verge of collapse. Otter swiftly grabbed Freya and leaped back, their expressions a mix of shock and seriousness.

Buddha contained his aura, ensuring only they were affected by its intensity. As he approached, Freya's demeanor turned increasingly serious, her own divinity beginning to manifest. She observed him closely, her expression growing more serious with each passing moment. her little divinity was being suppressed with no room to be gained.

"Do you understand now, or do you still want to play?" Buddha questioned, his tone firm and unwavering. Freya's expression gradually returned to normal, though a hint of seriousness lingered.

"I'm done here. I don't want to waste any more time," Buddha declared, turning to leave Freya and Otter behind.

Out on the streets, he continued to roam, speaking to no one in particular. "Is that good enough?" he questioned aloud.

[For now, that is enough she will tread carefully but won't back down. Your lollipop is in the living room, and both Regal and Scathach are going back you should head back as well]

Hearing this he changed his direction and walked off.

---Regal's house---

Relaxing in the living room, Buddha sat comfortably on the sofa, occasionally changing the flavor of the lollipop in his mouth.

In the backyard, Scathach and Regal engaged in a friendly spar using wooden weapons. Initially, Scathach dominated the exchange, her movements fluid and precise. However, Regal gradually began to hold his own, matching Scathach's intensity little by little.

Just as Regal seemed to be standing his ground, Scathach who was only using her spare light executed a swift low kick, catching him off guard and causing him to stumble.

"Don't focus solely on my spear," Scathach advised, her expression serious. "In battle, you must be aware of your surroundings. Anything can be turned into a weapon, so keep your senses sharp."

Despite the initial challenge, Regal absorbed Scathach's guidance with remarkable ease, impressing her with his rapid progress and adaptability.

Regal swiftly regained his balance using his magic, demonstrating his resourcefulness in the midst of combat. Observing his approach, Scathach paused her assault, allowing him a moment to prepare himself. She recognized that Regal was the type of individual who thrived on experiential learning; pushing him too hard too soon would hinder rather than help his progress. Unlike with other trainees or students, Scathach refrained from immediately launching another attack, opting instead to foster an environment conducive to his growth.

The spar continued until late into the night, with Regal and Scathach exchanging blows in the backyard. Meanwhile, Buddha remained in the living room, engrossed in a game on his phone. The system had granted him an extra, which was a phone he was disappointed at the start but was grinning when he started playing, the phone only offered two games: chess and Crossy Road. Despite his efforts to win, Buddha found himself losing every game of chess he played.

He lost another game of chess and switched to Crossy Road, playing until Regal and Scathach returned from their spar. By that time, he had crossed 167 roads, feeling a sense of accomplishment until the system shattered his pride.

[The highest score is 9,699, reached by a mortal. Why are you so happy? My own personal score is in the billions,] the system remarked.

Buddha's lip twitched at this revelation, but he continued playing the game in the living room without interruption. Regal and Scathach, curious at first, lost interest and retired to sleep, leaving Buddha to spend the entire night playing Crossy Road.

His final score was 1057 roads.
