Chapter 67: Welcome TongTong!

Bai Yi Yang and Mr.Song went to sit in the kitchen to discuss about the cost and payment.

The white cat eyes wander around, to it's Host face, then up and down then to the surrounding house.

'I think it's the puppies. Your smells also become more sensitive, well you are a cat. Do you want to try walking around?' Bai Yi Yang said as she put TongTong on the grass.

The system seems to be very excited with this new discovery, it also has similar senses to a cat now. It never imagine that it can also sniff different smells, see 360 degree view instead of sharing vision as it's host, it also can feel sensation. Now it understand what those descriptions about smell and sensation feels like.

The system jump around here and there. It is very talkative, one moment it will talk about the grass, another moment it will talk about the pavement, then next is about the much more clear visuals of Bai Yi Ling's colourful plants. It even said that they have different smell.

Bai Yi Yang will laugh as she watch it getting excited and answer to all the questions patiently.

"Yang Yang, what are you laughing about?" Bai Yi Chen come in from outside and his face was shocked when he saw the white fluffy kitten playing in the central courtyard.

"Whose cat is this?" He asked. Coming closer to inspect.

The system also do the same, he tried to compare Bai Yi Chen handsome face with its host face.

Bai Yi Chen looks 10x more handsome in it's eyes since it is not looking at him through the host's eyes anymore.

"Our cat. His..her.." Bai Yi Yang lifted up the cat and look at the gender. It's a girl, she smiled. TongTong must have been scare by her statement of cutting the two puppies balls.

"Her name is Tongtong." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Yang Yang, it may belongs to other people and got lost to our house." Bai Yi Chen said. The kitten is very fluffy, it also looks very clean. It doesn't look like a stray kitten.

"Ah..that.." Bai Yi Yang can guess that Bai Yi Chen must have thought that she pick it up somewhere.

"I don't think anyone owns it. But how about this, we keep it in the house for now, if someone come to find it, then we return her back." She said. The system is already rubbing it's head onto his legs, acting all cute. The host told it to act like this so that it can stay.

"Alright, let's keep it for now." Bai Yi Chen agree.

Bai Yi Yang grinned and head to the workshop with TongTong. It is still early, only 4 pm, so she planned to do some wood carving on the Main house door. She had already made a sketch before, and her carving skill is already level 1. She can do this easily. Since Bai Yi Chen went to the farm, the other siblings went to the village, she converse openly with the system.

"I like this painting. Do you want to be added in the picture?" Bai Yi Yang said.

'No way.' TongTong humphed.

Bai Yi Yang laugh and continue her carving. Carving is just for the sake of visual but it is very time consuming and concentration, so even when it is 5.00 pm already, she still hasn't finished one side of the door.

"Let's stop for now. Since this is your first day as TongTong, then I will cook fish dishes for you. What do you say?" Bai Yi Yang went out of the workshop followed by TongTong.

'I also don't understand why cat loves eating fish so much, this mighty me will have a taste today.' TongTong is pretending that it didn't care but to be honest it is already drooling. After knowing that it may become a cat one day, it already start looking at recipe and looking forward to tasting them in real.

Pan fried red snapper is also very delicious but Bai Yi Yang planned to cook grilled whole red snapper, first she will make cuts then marinate it with spices for a while only, the grilled it with come vegetables such as scallions and asparagus. Then she is going to make make stuffed bitter melon with minced meat. She has a lot of time to cook today, so she can make this more complicated dishes.

The first thing she do is marinate three whole red snapper fish and store them in the fridge temporarily before cooking.

Then she took some bitter melon, cut it into rings and remove the core. After that, she placed them into a big bowl of water mixed with a tablespoon of salt and let them soak in it. Next, she took some pork meat that is mixed with fatty part and mince them, add some dried mushrooms, carrots and onions then add the seasoning which is soy sauce and oyster sauce. Of course she also add the common seasoning to make the stuffing more delicious.

After finished with the stuffing, she rinse the bitter gourd and start stuffing the bitter melon. She made quite a lot so she placed them in a sealed plastic bags and put it in the fridge, the one she is going to make today is steamed stuffed bitter melon, the other batch can be made into stuffed bitter melon soup, they are also delicious.

Bai Yi Ling and the rest also returned not long after, and they immediately spot TongTong in the kitchen with Bai Yi Yang.

"So cute!!" Bai Yi Fang exclaimed. But TongTong sit on the opened window so she cannot reach to hold her. Bai Yi Ling also stare at the cute white cat, she also wanted to touch it but she is still more reserved compared to Bai Yi Fang.

"Who is this jiejie?" Bai Yi Ling ask.

"TongTong. She will stay with us just like Oreo and Cookie." Bai Yi Yang said as she continue cutting the eggplants into sticks, like french fries. The next menu is deep fried breaded eggplant.

"En. Do we have to feed it with milk too?" Bai Yi Ling ask.

"No, it can eat normal food. I gave it some food just now, it eats human food." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Then I can share my snacks with TongTong later?" Bai Yi Fang still didn't go away, she is starting at TongTong, hoping that it will come closer.

"Can. As long as TongTong likes to eat it. Right TongTong?" Bai Yi Yang lightly pat TongTong head.

'Host, I have a bad feeling about your youngest sister. Why do I have a feeling that she will disturb me a lot in the future?' TongTong said it's concern and look at Bai Yi Fang who still haven't give up calling it.

'Fang Fang is like this. She likes adorable animals, good luck TongTong.' Bai Yi Yang giggle. Bai Yi Ling noticed that the cat purposely didn't come down, so she also didn't bother with it. She went to cook rice instead.

Bai Yi Yang also start cooking when she finished her preparation. The first thing she do is put the water on boil to steam the stuffed bitter gourd, then she make a simple sauce for it. At the same time, she also start deep frying the eggplants, until they become golden brown in colour, she put the cooked one on top of kitchen tissue so that the oil will be absorbed before serving. Only after that did she start grilling the red snapper with butter and dried herbs on the grilling pan, it is very aromatic.

The Bai sibling who have taken their bath one by one enters the kitchen. Since the water purifier is installed, Bai Yi Mo is obsessed with cold water, when he returned from playing he drink cold water, now when everyone have tepid water in their glass, he alone has cold water.

Bai Yi Ling scoop out the rice as they wait for the last dish which is the grilled whole red snappers.

When Bai Yi Yang served the deep fried breaded eggplant and the steamed stuffed bitter melon, the people waiting at the table is intrigued. The food smells so good, they are almost drooling.

But Bai Yi Yang knows that when they tasted the stuffed bitter melon, the children won't be that interested anymore, she actually made it because she wanted to eat it for a long time now, and of course so that TongTong and her siblings can taste various kinds of taste. They should be trained to like the bitter taste too.

Bai Yi Yang bring the last dish to the table and took an extra empty plate.

'Rice?' She ask TongTong.

"Meow.." TongTong answer, it can't wait to taste everything. Bai Yi Yang scoop three spoon of rice, three pieces of deep fried eggplants, a piece of steamed stuffed bitter melon and fish meat with an asparagus.

'You need to eat vegetables too.' She said to TongTong as she put the plate in front of it. TongTong is sitting on top of the island counter table, waiting for it's food.

'It's hot, eat slowly.' She said again before returning to the table to eat with her siblings.

"TongTong really eat human food?" Bai Yi Fang was astonished as she watch her elder sister scoop the same food as them for TongTong. She thought at most the cat will only eat fish, but her sister even gave it vegetables.

"Cat is also the same. They need the nutrients from vegetables. Let's eat too." She said.

The siblings then start eating too. Bai Yi Yang took a stuffed bitter melon first to her bowl and eating it with delish. She really like this bitter taste and the delicious meat stuffing, this is the best stuffed bitter melon she ever tried.

Bai Yi Chen and Bai Yi Mo also seems to like it, it is a miracle that a boy like Bai Yi Mo will like it. As for Bai Yi Ling, she only tried one, and after that she didn't reach for the dish again. Bai Yi Fang is more obvious, she only took a small bite of the outer layer bitter melon and only eat the stuffing after that.

"Don't like bitter melon?" Bai Yi Yang ask with a smile.

"En. But the meat is delicious." Bai Yi Fang timidly nod. She likes the meat fillings though, it's just that the bitter melon is a bit bitter.

Bai Yi Yang didn't force her siblings to eat, they will come to like it when they grow up. She put other dishes to Bai Yi Fang bowl before Bai Yi Fangregain her appetite again. After that she also didn't touch the bitter melon again.

"The bitterness is delicious, Yang Yang you know how to cook this deliciously." Bai Yi Chen also loves it very much.

"Then eat more." Bai Yi Yang said.

"En." He nod.

The siblings had a good appetite, they finished all the meals as usual, and the twins ate most of the stuffed bitter gourd. When Bai Yi Yang went to see TongTong plate, like Bai Yi Fang, it also leaves a piece of bitten bitter gourd and only eat the stuffing, as for the rest, it was clean, including the rice.

'I am full, don't move me.' TongTong said as it laid on top of the table, it's stomach is round.

Bai Yi Yang only smile then went to wipe the dinner table and bring the dish to the sink. After that, she went back to the Main house to take a bath, every time, she is always the one who bath after dinner. Since she is going to cook, she doesn't want to get sweaty again after, that's why she always bath after dinner.
