Chapter 116: Bai Yi Yang’s pursuer

It is like an unwritten rule of the siblings. Every Sunday, they will lazy around and do nothing. Bai Yi Chen went to the town while the rest stay at home to lazy around. They even eat instant ramyeon for breakfast then watch TV afterwards.

Bai Yi Yang only did a online shopping from G Supermarket and set if for delivery at 5.00 pm tomorrow. Then she joined her siblings to watch TV. Even when Bai Yi Chen returned home, she didn't immediately went to arrange the stuff, Bai Yi Chen take over instead. He knows what to do now, cleaning the seafood, wrapping the meat with plastic and storing it into the freezer. He knows what to do without waiting for Bai Yi Yang.

So when Bai Yi Yang enter the kitchen to cook lunch, everything was neatly arranged and her mood heightened. She made three dishes for lunch and after eating, she proceed wit making wonton.

Bai Yi Yang then returned to the Main house after that. She chat with her siblings and they fall asleep. She woke up with a light rain, it is already 3 pm and all her siblings is still asleep. Because of the rain, it become a bit cold, so she turn off the air conditioning before continue laying around.

Just like that, a Sunday day passed and another week at school also passed.

'Finally Friday.' Bai Yi Yang beamed in happiness when the school bell rings.

This week, it was like usual, nothing special happening. She woke up to cook breakfast, went to school until 4.00 pm from Monday to Thursday, then do her woodworking for 1 hour and a half per day, then cook dinner, do homework at night or do her research paper and Olympiad homework. She can summarise it like that in general.

She finished her Olympiad handouts on Wednesday, then hand it over to Su Long. She also asked his number to send the tutorials video. Su Long was taken aback when she ask for his number, but he immediately blush when Bai Yi Yang told him the reason. Seems like, Su Long have been thinking too much, after that he can't face Bai Yi Yang directly. Even when he was telling her about the coordinator words, he was looking at the floor. Luckily no one know about this, if not, they might have been teased by their classmates.

Then their research is also progressing well, Sir Austin give her two sets of results this week, which she immediately transferred into their research paper and she even made a discussion in advance. However, she also told Sir Austin that for the discussion part, they still need to talk about it again later. She can't just give her opinion and view alone in the discussion. Sir Austin role is very important here. Sir Austin agree with that, but to be honest, even Bai Yi Yang discussion part is already too good, he can only add a few more sentences in it.

When Sir Austin is already like this, what more the other research member. Since they can't help with it, they can only do their role well in doing the lab work. Wang Yi Lin is especially close to Bai Yi Yang, she often rob Bai Yi Yang from Bai Yi Chen and bring Bai Yi Yang to sit with her during lunch. Because of this, Bai Yi Chen is also used to her R&D team now.

One time during lunch when Bai Yi Yang and Bai Yi Chen sat with Wang Yi Lin, Li Jian Yu and some other seniors from Grade 12, Ruby An suddenly come and sit next to Bai Yi Yang. She stare at Bai Yi Yang and Wang Yi Lin who is sitting opposite of each other then at the handsome Bai Yi Chen.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Senior Yi Lin, so you lose the beauty to this handsome junior?" Ruby An said, making Wang Yi Lin almost choked with her drinks.

"What did you say?!" Wang Yi Lin ask as she cough while the rest sitting at the table already laughing. The aloof Wang Yi Lin must be too startled that she is having this kind of reaction.

"Ah? I though you and Yi Yang is having some kind of romance going on. Aren't you?" Ruby An ask, she pretend to be shocked too.

"Nonsense. And this is Yi Yang twin brother. Watch your mouth." Wang Yi Lin said. She wipe her mouth with a tissue paper.

"Ohh I see. Then you still have a chance Senior Yi Lin. Good luck! Fighting!" Ruby An dropped the bomb before running away from the crime scene.

After that, whenever the seniors who recognise Bai Yi Yang passed by, they will call her Wang Yi Lin little lover. It spread in school and it becomes her nickname, even Sir Austin knows about it, all because of Ruby An. Of course, nobody really takes it seriously, it was just a joke.

Then other than that, she also has started working on the furniture, this week, she finishes making the dinner table and the chairs, it was entirely made of woods but when she showed the final product to interior designer Ru Qing, she insists on adding cushions on the seat, saying that it will add a new touch to it. Bai Yi Yang let her do that, anyway she have given full trust to her.

Other than that, Bai Yi Yang also made 4 wooden bar stool for their island countertop and a step stool so it will be easier to reach higher compartment of their kitchen cupboards. These were all the things that she has finished working this week.

As for the laundry room shelves, she already finished making it, just waiting to be installed onto the wall directly.

And this concludes her woodworking this past 4 days, today she is going to install the laundry room shelves and start working on Bai Yi Mo bedroom. Interior designer Ru Qing will come again next week since 1 month has passed since they last meet. Interior designer Ru Qing said that she haven't gotten all the items but they can start putting on the wall sticker and curtains. Bai Yi Yang immediately agree and made an appointment on Friday next week. Seems like, her travelling plan need to be hold back for the time being since she will be busy with woodworking and people coming to their house.

Bai Yi Yang left the class with Bai Yi Chen after she got their phones. Mr.Ling even asked her about the progress of their research. After that, Mr.Ling started reading these things so that he won't be left out by his student, now he understands why Sir Austin won't let go of Bai Yi Yang no matter what, she is really full of talents.

Zhang Ming Ming also joined them after that, they were chatting while going down the stairs when suddenly they were stopped at the 2nd floor. This is where Grade 11 classes are.

"Junior Bai Yi Yang, can I have a word?" A male student who is quite familiar said. He is the same boy who gave her canned drink a few times, the boy from Class 2 Grade 11. After their first meeting at the school field during the PE class, he have been giving Bai Yi Yang canned drinks after each PE class. It always ends up in Bai Yi Chen hand though, Bai Yi Yang really won't remember him if nit because her classmates always tell her about him when he gave her canned drinks.

Bai Yi Yang look behind them and there are other people who are stopped because of them, so she nod and step aside to talk with him. This Senior is actually not bad, he looks quite handsome, his personality is refreshing and very active, she heard he is from the football team. Since he is in class 2, study is also not that bad.

Seeing this brave and persistent senior, Bai Yi Chen is a bit unhappy inside. He knows about this one senior from Class 2 Grade 11 pursuing his twin, he even saw him once while giving Bai Yi Yang canned drinks. So, all those drinks after each PE class is from this senior.

When he found out about this, he asked around about that senior. His name is Song Zheng Sheng, from Class 2 Grade 11. He is in the school football team and the vice captain, next year he probably will become the captain of the school football team. Other than that, he is from the town, family is quite well off and own a business, his look is also not bad. No wonder he is confident with his pursue. As for his personality, it is quite good too, it's just that he has a few ex-girlfriends before, 2 from his junior high school years and 1 from when he was in Grade 10. The reasons of breakup, Bai Yi Chen didn't know, but since he has this history of 3 previous relationships, he must be quite popular with the girls. He doesn't really like this facts.

When she Zhang Ming Ming saw this, she quickly read the cue and pull Bai Yi Chen to wait for Bai Yi Chen downstairs. Bai Yi Yang agree and smile at her brother and Zhang Ming Ming.

"What it is?" Bai Yi Yang ask when they are away from the stairs. They are in front of an empty class now, there are a few students from Grade 11 that passed by and gave a meaningful look at Song Zheng Sheng.

"I want to formally ask you if you have a boyfriend. If not I want to pursue you, I have liked you since we met that day at the school field." Song Zheng Sheng didn't waste time and ask. He is always straightforward. If not because Bai Yi Yang doesn't seems to respond well to him, he would have ask long time ago, he won't wait until 3 weeks before asking.

Bai Yi Yang is a mystery to him, she has been in the school for 2 years now, but why did he only meet her now? What more, he thinks it was a love at first sight, something that he never experienced before. It was always girls who confessed to him, if he thinks he can like them, he will accept them. But this time, he was totally into her, he saw her a few times in the cafeteria and he like her even more. It's not him alone it seems because she is always surrounded by people, which makes it difficult for him to approach her.

Then there is also Bai Yi Chen, at first, he thought that Bai Yi Chen is her boyfriend, but it turns out that he is her twin brother. He was about to give up on her, but then his friends laugh at him and told him that the two people are twins, it was Ruby An from Class 1 that spread the news. Seeing that he is interested with Bai Yi Yang, the boys tell him about it.

After that, he observe for a while and didn't see any boys that is close to her as Bai Yi Chen so he concludes that she doesn't have a boyfriend. To hell with the other boys who only dare to watch her from afar, he is going to take the chance first.

Bai Yi Yang look up, this senior is actually tall like Bai Yi Chen. She really hates it when she need to look up to talk with Bai Yi Chen.

"Step back a bit." Bai Yi Yang said towards the teenager in front of her with a calm tone. Their distance requires her to look up, she doesn't like it.

"Okay, sorry." Song Zheng Sheng is a bit confused but he stepped back in case he is making her uncomfortable. He is so nervous that he may have scare her, never thought that making a confession is this nerve wrecking.

Only now can Bai Yi Yang see him clearly. His name was Song Zheng Sheng if she is not mistaken. He is a good person but she don't have any thought of dating anyone for now, what more to a teenager that she sees as young boys. Her age is 26 years old in the other world, even though she have a 16 years old body, she can't accept this almost 10 years age difference.

"I don't have a boyfriend but I am not interested in looking for one either." Bai Yi Yang smile lightly. This is a soft rejection, she also doesn't want to hurt this teenage boy.

"Why? Is it because I am not good enough?" Song Zheng Sheng ask. He thinks he is not bad, of course compared to Bai Yi Chen, her twin brother, he lose in the academic and look part. But he is more fun to hang out with compared to the indifferent Bai Yi Chen, what more he is also good in sport.

"Because you are still too young. And I don't want to have a boyfriend now. I am a busy person you see." Bai Yi Yang said again.

"I..then..you don't have to accept me now, we can be friends first.." Song Zheng Sheng really like Bai Yi Yang, how can he give up just like that? What more, she didn't say that she dislike him.

"Being friend is okay, but only friends." Bai Yi Yang think and nod. Song Zheng Sheng immediately beamed up and nod, he promised Bai Yi Yang that he will not go over the line until she like him back too.

"You are quite good looking, many girls will like you. You should think it over again.." Bai Yi Yang sincerely said. She is not someone who is easily moved with this things called love between man and woman. She never falls in love, and she doesn't know how too.

"I don't mind..you said we can be friend.." Song Zheng Sheng said shyly, what more Bai Yi Yang call him good looking. He immediately show his social media QR code towards Bai Yi Yang.

"Alright, I will scan." Bai Yi Yang nod and take out her phone. She scan Song Zheng Sheng QR and then they immediately become friend. Song Zheng Sheng smile when he saw her name and adorable profile photo with a cat.

"Since we are friends, you need to reply to my text okay." Song Zheng Sheng said before running away to who knows where.

Bai Yi Yang sigh and went down the stairs to meet up with Bai Yi Chen and Zhang Ming Ming. Zhang Ming Ming was so excited, she asked a lot of things which Bai Yi Yang answer honestly.

"You are so bad. You friend zoned him?" Zhang Ming Ming said in a low voice.

"What do you mean? I said I don't want to find a boyfriend now, and he said he wanted to be friend so I added him. What did I do wrong?" Bai Yi Yang thinks she didn't do anything wrong to be called bad.

"You should have reject him if you don't like him." Bai Yi Chen then said.

"I rejected him, but I don't dislike him. He is quite good person." Bai Yi Yang said.

Zhang Ming Ming and Bai Yi Chen was speechless. What Bai Yi Yang said is not wrong, rejecting a love confession doesn't mean that they dislike the person, more like not suitable with each other bah.

"Alright, alright. Forget about it. What if he confess again one day? What will you do?" Zhang Ming Ming ask.

"Erm..I will say the same thing bah. He is too young, and I also don't want a boyfriend now." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Then next time he confessed, just said that you dislike him, or hate him or whatever. Don't be his friend, if not people will say that you are playing around with people heart. Understand?" Bai Yi Chen said. Now he understands, his sister is just clueless about these things, while he knows the outcome of this kind of so called friendship. If the other person is kind, he will step back on his own, but if he is a bad person, he will try to drag Bai Yi Yang down after being rejected. Anyway, when that time come, he will just step forward bah.
