Poor Instructors

Even in a situation like this, Lyra's face remained as cold as ice. She didn't show a hint of anger or excitement, and her voice was calm as ever. Her eyes had a chill to them that made others look away.

She glanced at Taryn, who was glaring at her, and gave a knowing smile. "Looking poor and weak doesn't make you right. If you keep bothering me, I'll ask the instructor to show the pre-training surveillance video."

Taryn's face went pale. She had only wanted to embarrass Lyra, not expose her own attempt to run away. So, she stayed silent.

Her roommate, however, felt the need to "stand up for justice." "Taryn, don't be afraid, let them show it!"

"Yeah, how can she call you weak?"

Taryn, felt embarrassed and cornered, especially with the others involved right there. She tried to back down. "Forget it," she said. "It's all over now."

She wanted to let it go, but Thierry wasn't having it.
