Ella's development of Aquarius I began over 6,800 years ago. By gathering resources from more than 42 star systems within a 20-light-year radius, they gained the confidence to create the Mobius Ring World.
Here, the Civilization Federation did not stand alone. The 42 star systems they mined were gradually developed and formed the core galaxy circle of the Civilization Federation.
But was the other region abandoned?
Of course not.
The galaxy circle with Capella as its core, the Cosmic Silk Road, and the capital galaxy circle with Aquarius I as its core formed a triangular relationship.
The Civilization Federation's subsequent development focused on the edges and center of this triangle, allowing it to possess a vast star domain spanning 200 light-years.
The tip of this triangle pointed directly at the Olive Branch Civilization.
Today, the Civilization Federation is stronger than ever.
It's been around 4,000 years since Yan Xia returned from Star City, and during this time, the Civilization Federation has gradually recovered and developed while Star City was in chaos.
The Civilization Federation now controls 193 star systems, with over 80% development completed in 115 of them. In terms of energy, they have reached Level 2.2, and if we get more specific, they are around Level 2.23, with a heavy focus on tachyon communication technology.
The only challenge is that tachyon communication technology is auxiliary and not offensive or even defensive, making the Civilization Federation more moderate and less dominant.
Yan Xia stood in this interstellar port, which was actually part of a massive star city.
However, the Civilization Federation was not as wealthy as the Olive Branch Civilization. This star city was made up of scattered small star islands, and the interstellar port where Yan Xia was located was one of them—a giant city with a horizontal length of 172 kilometers, a vertical width of 59 kilometers, and a height of around 8 kilometers.
As soon as Yan Xia disembarked from the spaceship, he felt the uniqueness of this interstellar port.
The most noticeable difference from Capella was its appearance. This interstellar port didn't resemble a comb but rather an oval-shaped cake, with the port positioned inward, forming a 'C' shape when viewed from the side. Spaceships would enter the interior of the 'C' to dock.
Numerous mechanical arms were present, physically locking spaceships in place upon docking. There was no longer a need for maintenance engineers, as these arms could perform comprehensive inspections and repairs by simply paying energy coins at the operation panel.
Yan Xia witnessed a large clump of liquid being released from the spaceship, covering it. These liquids were nanorobots, numbering over a trillion trillion, capable of repairing the spaceship at a microscopic level, making it look brand new.
Before Yan Xia could observe the nanorobots' repair process, Ella, now with white hair and wearing a floral skirt, approached him.
"Welcome home, Daddy!"
Yan Xia coughed repeatedly, his body trembling uncontrollably.
Ella laughed, "Daddy, it's been a long time since you've seen me, but there's no need to be so excited."
Yan Xia felt like making a sarcastic remark.
Both of them were over 20,000 years old; couldn't they act a little more mature?
Ella grabbed Yan Xia's arm and shook it back and forth, her small body exerting immense strength, almost dislocating his arm.
"Daddy, let's go shopping!"
Yan Xia turned the tables, lifting her arm and rubbing her small head.
"Sure, what do you want to buy? Daddy will get it for you."
As one of the team members who developed Ella, Yan Xia could indeed be considered her father.
Holding Ella's hand, they walked towards the interstellar port.
The interstellar port differed from ordinary shopping malls, as most of the items sold here were equipment.
Due to the vast distances in space, the once-thriving online stores of the 21st century gradually declined in the interstellar age, and physical stores rose in popularity. After all, even with free shipping within a galaxy, it still took a long time, not to mention inter-galaxy transportation.
As a result, these physical stores were extremely crowded. The newly constructed Aquarius I appeared to have a substantial citizen population.
"Most of them are descendants of the workers who built Aquarius I."
"The Aquarius I project was massive. In the initial stages, over 3 billion workers were transported, and later, an additional 110 billion, totaling over 140 billion. Adding those transferred by various companies, immigrants, and explorers, the total citizen count of Aquarius I exceeded 130 billion."
"With the population growth over the past few thousand years, the number has increased by several dozen times, reaching 45.1 trillion."
As the saying goes, when the population reaches ten thousand, the land is boundless; when it reaches a hundred thousand, the earth and sky merge.
The trillion-level population is almost unimaginable. The daily foot traffic in this interstellar port alone exceeds 1 billion, making it appear crowded.
The interstellar port is divided into many levels, including commercial, residential, and entertainment areas. The property price here is relatively high, at about 5.285 energy coins per square meter.
Being an interstellar port, it has geographical advantages, similar to seaports on Earth.
As the capital galaxy, with its vast size and a population of less than 5 trillion, the property prices outside the star city in the Mobius Ring World are much lower, averaging around 0.3 energy coins per square meter, which translates to a purchasing power of just over 10,000.
This is the average price, and properties located slightly higher up might require only 0.1 energy coins or even less.
Moreover, the environment in the Mobius Ring World is far superior to the star city, especially during the early stages of development. The green coverage rate has reached 99.12%, and from space, the Mobius Ring World appears entirely covered in plants, with no cities visible.
Ella took Yan Xia shopping, but their final destination was the very center of the star city.
Here, a giant spherical device with a diameter of over 1 kilometer stood.
"What is this?" Yan Xia had never seen it before, and Ella hadn't shared any information about this spherical device.
"Each star island is a basic unit. In the outer part of the Mobius Ring World, we have a trigram-shaped star city chain, also known as the Great Star City, with 128 star islands in each star city."
"The primary purpose of these star islands is this device."
"This device is called 'Wind.' It generates a repulsive force, repelling all matter and anti-matter, and all energy and negative energy. We have been searching for negative energy and have now put it to use, creating a negative energy wind blowing outwards. This wind cancels out the four fundamental forces, including gravity."
Negative Energy Device - "Wind".
Ella developed this defensive device to counter the Olive Branch Civilization's gravitational weapons.
It can be considered an absolute defense weapon against matter or energy.
