Chapter 2

I wake up. The woman told me "it's time for us to go to the lab." I get up and follow her into the lab. She sits me down on a lab table and attaches me to it. She puts a needle with some sort of experiment into my arm. I yelp in pain. "Stay still, it will be over soon," she calmly says. She leaves the needle in for about a minute and then pulls it out. "I think you're done for the day, go Back to your dorm," she tells me. I walk back to the dorm. Inside, I sit next to the others. "What's your name?" Max asks me. "June," I answer. I sit down on my bed and fall asleep. When I "wake up" I see a long black void looking hallway with doors along the walls. Where am I??? I walk around the infinite hallway. I stopped to look at the doors they all were hard wood brown doors. They looked old and rusty. One of the doors catches my attention. It had long thick chains wrapping it shut. I look at the door number, 48. I go to door 49, inhale, and open the door. I hear a clock ticking as I enter the door. It looks like a normal bedroom, it had long white walls, a big bed, and a desk. I go over to the desk and look inside the desk. Inside the bottom drawer was a wallet. I open the wallet. Inside, there's a credit card, cash, and a driver's license. I look at the name on the license. The owners name was Pastel,

she was born in 2000. 2000!? ITS 3005 NOW! I need to find her. She has to be here somewhere. I run out of the room shutting the door behind me. As I sprint through the hallway, I feel something grab my ankles. I black out as a mysterious creature drags me through the long hallway. I awake and look around. THANK GOODNESS! I was back in the room with the others. But something was off…

I realize one of my eyes was still there. Almost like my soul was in two places.

The lady comes back into the room. "It's time for the next shot, and a discussion on what happened well you were asleep," she tells me. "Ok," I croak. I follow her down the hallway into the experiment room. She straps me onto the chair. "Well I'm doing this process, tell me what happened in your sleep," she says as she mix's ingredients up. "So when I fell asleep…" I begin. After telling her the story.

She finally finished getting the shot ready. She ingected me with the shot.

It hurt, but I feel like after last night, nothing could be worse. She tells me, "go back to your dorm, and talk to the others." I nod my head and walk down the hallway. After reaching the dorm, I ask them, "what are your guys powers?"

Max goes first, "I have dark magic." The others dozed off so I tell him, "I walk through a long black Hallway with doors every second." "That sounds tough."

I lay down and fall asleep. As I "awake." I know I have to find pastel. I look behind me and in front, as I don't want to be dragged by my ankles again. I run through the halls, but quietly. I look at the door numbers as I pass by them. As I pass door 48, I stop. Door 49 was where I found her license. She has to be nearby. I go into door 49 again. She's not in there. As I walk in I remember I forgot to check the other drawers. I open the middle drawer. I look inside. There, I see a note,

It reads, "I'm in door 50, The monsters been keeping the door guarded.

I creep out into the hallway, not closing the door this time. I run over to door 50.

I open the door, and Pastel looked like she's been blessed by a god when she saw me. She motioned to shut the door quietly, so I do as instructed. "You're here too, I'm glad I'm not alone.. but I'm sorry you have to suffer here." "Why are you here?" I ask. "A horrible "mental hospital" that was actually a lab," she answers.

"No way, me too." I gasp. "I wonder if I can drag you out.." I felt myself start to wake, so I clutched her hand. When I actually awoke, she was beside me.

"IM OUTTTT!" IM OUT!" She yells as she jumps around. The others look at her confused, and then shrug.
