3rd POV
[8:30 am] at the Bhangarh Fort, India
A priest who was obsessed with princess Ratnavati followed the princess to the marketplace and offered her a love potion. However, she refused it, throwing it onto a large rock that consequently rolled onto the priest and crushed him to death. Before he died, the priest cursed the entire village, condemning it to destruction and desolation.
Death
We think about it a lot but when the time comes it really does become a new concept. Panic and fear really do take over the female Reaper's soul. It has been five days that she has been here without any sleep or food.
The female Reaper, a skilled fighter with cursed energy, found herself in a precarious situation as she battled an overwhelming number of curses within the rusty old Bhangarh Fort on a mission. The building looked like it would fall apart if the Reaper took just one wrong step on the sheets of the concrete ground below her feet. Her crimson eyes frantically searched every inch of the rotting room, full of curses charging at her. She was already injured from non-stop fighting. She had used every last bit of her cursed energy. The female Reaper had never seen so many curses in one place. She knew at this point she was in serious trouble.
The Reaper's breathing became heavy and she was ready to give up. The drumming of the falling rain that once was harsh and deafening became her only comfort.
Every regret in her life came flooding back to her as tears rolled down her face. Exhausted and injured, she was ready to give up and accept her inevitable demise. She fell to her knees and waited for the inevitable.....
That was until she saw him.
The female Reaper watched as he gracefully danced in the air, the dagger in his hands moving to the rhythm of his cursed energy. In a blink of an eye, curses started to disappear, yet it still felt as though she was watching in slow motion. His movements were sheer perfection. The female Reaper watched in awe as he effortlessly battled the malevolent energies that had threatened to take her down.
He then turned to her, and she could see his black loose hair waving over his glowing blue eyes. The female Reaper will always be in awe when she sees them, and in that moment, she felt a sense of relief knowing that he was there to protect her.
"Alas...." she managed to whimper out.
He gently scooped her up into his arms.
"Shhh, ■□■... I've got you now, you need to rest" whispering soothing words into her ear as she passed out from exhaustion.

The female Reaper woke up groggy and disoriented, her vision blurry as she attempted to sit up. Her confusion was quickly met with the concerned voice of Alastair, a fellow Reaper whom she recognized immediately. "Woah there, stay down. You're hurt," he cautioned, his expression reflecting the gravity of her injuries.
As her vision slowly came back into focus, she realized that she was in an unfamiliar room. However, her mind was still too foggy to process where she was or what had happened. The Reaper saw Alas leaning over her. Now that was a sight to wake up to.
She attempted to speak but her throat was dry and scratchy, rendering her unable to form coherent words.
Despite her weakened state, the female Reaper noticed the pain in Alas's voice as he chastised her for taking on a mission that was clearly beyond her capabilities. "What on earth made you think you could take on a mission that big? If I had been any late, you would have been...," his voice trailed off, unable to finish the dire thought.
"You know I like a challenge, thanks for saving my ass," she tried to laugh it off but she knew that he was right. It was foolish of her to have taken the mission without proper planning and preparation.
He stayed quiet for a moment. She had no idea he'd be this upset with her, who knew Usoro Alastair cared?
However, before she could apologize, he abruptly cut her off,"I had to speak to the higher-ups about you."
At the mere mention of the higher-ups, the female Reaper cringed. She had never had a pleasant experience with them. "Are they dying?" She sneered as both of them started laughing.
However, Alas's next words surprised her. "Sadly no but we made a decision about you. You're going to help me teach newcomers". Her face turned to a state of horror.
"Why tho, though? That is not happening" she huffed. Her first instinct was to protest vehemently. The idea of having to babysit new recruits was abhorrent to her, and the thought of being stuck in that role indefinitely was agony.
However, before she could argue."Is that the thanks I get for saving your life?" Alastair smirked. " It's only until you fully recover and you can go. Besides, the newcomers will be so excited to meet you."
"Why is that?"
"If you may think that you are not famous, but you are so wrong because who wouldn't know about the S-rank special class Reaper " Alastair has a smirk on his face.
"Okay okay, I'll help out, just until I'm healed then I'm out of here," she sighed. Feeling grateful yet mildly resentful, she grudgingly agreed to the arrangement.
"It's a deal". Alas chuckled. Alastair reassured her that it would only be a temporary solution until she was fully healed and able to resume her duties.
Feeling both annoyed and flattered, the female Reaper begrudgingly accepted her new role. She couldn't wait to heal quickly so she could resume her duties and get away from the tedious task of training new recruits.
'I really need some more friends...'

[10:20 pm] In the USA
Mifa stands in front of a mirror in the bathroom brushing her teeth before bedtime. 'Looks like I'll be having nightmares again ... I guess I'll put some clothes in my room and go to sleep.'
After Mifa finished brushing, she bent down to the sink and rinsed her teeth with water. She quickly dried her mouth and immediately froze in place once again when she saw another monster standing beside her in the mirror.
Holding her breath, Mifa's heart raced in fear as she tried to think of a way to escape the monster's gaze. Suddenly, she thinks of something.
"Ah... Ouch... My eye hurts... Something got in it..." Mifa pretended as she slowly bent down to the sink once more and washed her face and composed herself.. 'Crap! Crap! Crap! There's no way! I must not react no matter what. Hang in there! Calm down... It's okay... It should be gone the next time I look, like those Haunted films.'
Mifa lifted her head once again and started to cry in fear a bit. It's still there! It's not going away. The creature keeps staring at her creepily but unexpectedly phases through the left wall.
Mifa swiftly rushes out of the bathroom and kneels on the ground gasping for some air. The strength in her legs is none existence now.
After some time, she found the strength to get up and grabbed a pack of salt on the way to her bedroom. She pours the salt into a bowl and places it beside her bedroom door. 'I heard somewhere that salt can purify evil spirits. Now the salt is ready... '
'Even if I see them again, they should disappear if I just ignore them. I'll be fine.'
Mifa's body is still shivering in fear. Mifa tried her best to calm her nerves as she lay down on her bed. She lay down on her comfy bed and scrolled through her phone searching for ways to exercise the monster. She came across a suggestion. 'Hm? Prayer beads are good at warding off evil... Sigh~ I should go to sleep...'
However, as she pulled back the blanket to go to sleep, her face became blank. There's another monster under there.
"M...a...m...a...." Cried the child-like monster. Slowly putting down her blanket, she lay down and looked up the calling. 'The salt didn't work after all. What should I do? Do I have to endure this madness till sunrise... I just want a good night's sleep... I'm really tired...'
Mifa's frustration and exhaustion reached its limit as tears trailed down her face. She just wanted to have a good night's sleep, but this madness seemed to have no end. She cried out for help in her mind,'Please someone help me .'

Bhangarh Fort, India is truly a haunted place, and I am going to use real haunted place in this story.
Before breathing his last, Singhia put a curse on Princess Ratnavati and everyone in the place. The curse was a warning to the people of Bhangarh to leave home or else they were to die a painful death and would never be able to rest in peace.
Due to the tantric curse, on the second day after his death, a terrible war took place between Bhangarh Fort and Ajabgarh, and due to which all the citizens, including Rani Ratnavati of Bhangarh, were killed. The souls of all those who died keep roaming in the Bhangarh fort even today.
