Shadow Strikes Again

"Why is life so unfair?" Wept Christina while Jason sat close to her in front of the kitchen table. He offered her a strip of tissue while a stream of tears flooded the very bits of her facial features. She gently took it and wiped every droplet, he then rubbed her back while his wife stood afar in front of the sink. Clinging on to the rims while looking down. "Things keep on getting worse. Why does this keep happening Jason?" Jason embraced her as she wept on his chest. He then looked up and called out to his wife. "Babe!" "Hmm?" She replied. "How much will the surgery cost?" Catherine turned around and placed her fingers under her brows, she relieved herself off a heavy sigh. "Doctor Hawkins said that the surgery will cost 77 000 USD." Jason rubbed his head as she continued, "And what strikes a cord is that I only earn 7 500 dollars monthly. Some of it goes towards the groceries and electricity." Jason then looked up and exhaled heavily. "How about this...I think the only suitable suggestion would be if we combine a vast majority of our salaries?" "Even if we do combine all our salaries, it still will not be enough. Let alone take up a large consumption from our basic needs. This is a dire situation," said Catherine as she folded her arms while she leaned against the kitchen counter.

"I have a suggestion," said Christina. "I know someone who can help us with the money. We've know each other for a long time. Surely he won't mind." Catherine leaned foward and inquired, "Who?" "Razor." Catherine and her husband's eyeballs ballooned out of great proportion. "Have you lost your mind Chris? Of all the things we could think off, you resort to borrowing money from a loan shark?!" Christina arose to her feet and raised her voice. "I don't care what you think Catherine we have no choice! If these are such lengths that we have to go through then so be it!" "Christina mom would never want us to put our lives on the line even for hers!" Christina's facial features morphed into a red pigment, "So you are saying you'de rather not do anything and let her die!" Catherine leaned her head close to hers. "Sometimes as the bigger man I have to make tough decisions even if it means being inconsiderate!"

"This is my mother! If you do not care about her then I will do it myself!" Jason arose to his feet and stood amidst them, placing his hands on the lower regions of their necks. "Ok! Ok! Enough you two! Throwing bricks at one another will not resolve the problem whatsoever!" Christina pointed at her, "The problem is here your selfish b*tch only thinks about herself!" Catherine's right eye twitched, "Did you just call me a b*tch?!" "What are you going to do about it?!" Insisted Christina as Catherine pushed her husband out of the way and grabbed her sisters hair. She pulled her hair, this in turn forced Jason to grab his wife's wrist and pull her hands away from Christina's hair lobs. And so he did, once again he stood amist them and placed his hands againsy the lower regions of their necks, slightly close to their clavicle's. "I said enough!!! You are behaving like children! You should be ashamed of yourselves. Especially you Catherine! I did not expect such behaviour from you!"

There was silence for a brief moment, Jason continued, "Ok! We need to come up with some plan to get 77 000 USD!" Christina took her purse and walked away. "Its ok Jason. There is no need to concern yourself. It's already clear that I am the only person who deeply cares about our mother. Therefore I'll do it myself!" She walked away while Jason glared at his wife. "Really Catherine? Really? Did you have to assualt her?" "She called me a b*tch Jason. I had every right to beat the devil out of her!"

At The Police Department

22:30 pm

Seargant Daniel wore 2 latex powdered gloves, there after he journeyed to the survalliance room whistling to himself, as he held onto the knob he first looked on both sides to check if there was any one nearby. When the coast was clear, he opened the door and entered the room, closing the door from behind. A security guard by the name of Bob, monitered the CCTV camera's. Bob was a man of great weight, he had curly brown brown hair and wore a cap over his hair. "Evening Seargant! What brings you here in the survalliance room?" Inquired Bob. With a friendly gesture, Daniel replied with a smile and said, "Nothing! Nothing much! There is something that I needed to attend to." "Oh really? What would that be?" Inquired Bob as he swayed his glance away from the screen, while doing so Daniel centered the gun towards his forehead. And with just a click from the trigger, he fired a bullet that initially pierced through his skull, eventually incapacitating his brain in the process. Fortunately the gun had a suppressor, therefore it did not stirr up a loud shot. "I needed to do this." he implied as he watched his body fall of the chair. He crouched towards the floor and reached for Bob's pockets. He took out a set of keys and, afterward he went towards the plug sockets and pulled the plug, temporarily switching off the plugs. There after he locked the door upon departure.

He set out his sights towards the cells, however along the way he encountered another security guard whom prohibited access to anyone whom dared to enter the area. "Seargant I'm afraid you are not allowed here." "I know that very well Paul." Without warning Daniel raised the gun at him, without hesitance he fired a headshot just before Paul could react. When Paul's body fell to the floor, he crouched on the floor and once again reached for his pockets. He took out another set of keys and opened the gate that led to the cells.

With the characteristics of that of a snake, Daniel unlocked Keiran's cell and found him sleeping on the floor. Though he slept aside from 3 other inmates, he centered the weapon towards his head and as soon as he entered the cell, he pulled the trigger and shot him on the head. Other inmates started fidgeting, but continued sleeping. He locked the cell after leaving and persued more men from his group.

Later that night

New York Central Park

A young couple explored the beautiful vast grounds of the park. Their names were Kimberly Hillton and Darren Phillips. Darren had short black hair, with a lot of pimples that spread across his youthful face. He was in his early 20's and was studying art at the University Of New York. He tugged his right arm around Kimberly's arm while also holding his jotter from his left hand. Kimberly had blond hair and ultramarine blue eyes. She was very short in comparison to her partner. She leaned her head against her boyfriends right shoulder. "Babe" said Kimberly. He looked down to face her and inquired, "Yeah?" "Thank you for treating me tonight. I enjoyed spending time with you. This is something we have never done in a long time." Darren caressed her hair lobs and looked down at her, "It's a pleasure babe." "What motivated you to take me out for dinner?" "Well after our last argument. You said that I did not give you the necessary attention that you so righteously deserved. I then realised that I was not a good partner. Therefore I took the initive to put my studies on hold just for tonight. In order to spoil a special someone." Her cheeks flustered red as she let out a big smile. He gently grabbed her chin and pulled her head towards his. They both sealed a kiss, closing their eyes and immersing themselves into a spectacle bond.

Suddenly, every lamp post in the park shut off, giving arise to a mist of darkness, which hovered across the park. As soon as they opened their eyes, they gasped with astonishment. "What the heck just happened?" Inquired Kimberly. "Maybe there is something wrong with the electricity." From afar, the sound of a sharp metal object reverberated, it would seem that this particular metal object grazed through the top surface of a barrier rail. Suddenly one lampstand emitted a dash of light. oddly enough, that very same lamp stand was situated just a few meters away from them, excluding them from the security of the light. The lampstand illuminated the presence of a strange figure. It was the figure that brutally spilt the blood of poor Helena Moon. As usual he wore a black jersery and covered the outline of his head with a hood. He also covered his facial features with a V for Vandetta mask.

With each step he took, he grazed through the surface of a rail barrier with the machete. The grin carved on the mask sent a cool shiver down their spines. Terror daunted them from afar while the figure took a step closer to them. Kimberly clung her fingers through his garments while his eyes nearly popped out from his socket. Suddenly the lights of the lampstand turned off and darkness scurried acorss the land once again. The 2 took of with undeniable speed, running from the bridge to where they had come from. Suddenly just a few meters away, another lampstand emitted another ray of light. Lurking from the midst of the light was the same figure, lusting in anticipation to spill blood and spray it against the very fabric of the tree trunks. The 2 stopped dead in their tracks, its as if fear had paralysed them for a brief moment. They gasped with astonishment while the figure took a step foward. "How did he catch up to us so quickly?" "I do not know." Replied Darren.

They stormed off once more, this time they took a route on their left, a place clouded with trees. However along the way, Kimberly tripped on a rock and fractured her knee, Darren haulted in his path and turned aorund. He rushed back to her aid and held her. "Kimberly! What happened?" She groaned in anguish as she held her knee, "I think...I think I fractured my knee." "Its gonna be alright. Let me help you out!" He grabbed her arm and pulled her up. There after, he wrapped her arm around her shoulder, while doing so the figure cropped out of know where and appeared in front of them. David gasped with terror, instantly freezing at that particular spot. The figure striped the machete from its scabbard, exposing the sharp ridge of the machete. A spark of light bounced of the blade, without warning, the figure stabbed him through his midsection. The blade pierced through his midsection and protuded from out the back. A drop of blood dripped from the edges of his mouth as he fell to knees.

Kimberly screamed with Terror and turned around, she limped away from the figure hopping with one leg, while doing so the figure pulled the machete away from David's midsection and sauntered after her. Eventually she found a tree up ahead and hopped her way to it. She sat down and hid herself from him, she then held her knee with both of her hands and squirmed with anguish as a stream of tears flowed down her cheeks. The figure then approached her from the side, with a deep distorted voice he spoke, "You thought that you could escape from me huh?" She nodded her head sideways and murmered, "Please...please...I beg of you...spare me." The figure crouched and gently held her chin, his grin caused the pulse of her heatbeat to increase exponentially. "Fear not Shadow knows all. And Shadow has already pardoned you..." he arose to his feet and and swayed the blade towards her neck, the blade slit her head of her neck. He continued with his head fixed foward, "Shadow has pardoned you from life." ..
