Turner was sitting on the table with the beginner's guide to monster anatomy kept in front of him.

It had already been 2 hours since he started reading it but ha just read 10 chapters of it. He now realized a big drawback of his talent – yes he could remember whatever he had read but the talent didn't increase his reading speed.

Hmm…. With this speed I'd atleast take 3 months or so just to even finish the material that was needed to clear the qualifying exam.... What should I do ….It would have been better if I had a talent to read faster….wait…

System I wanna create a talent

With this Turner started reading the book in front of him.

It had been a week.

Everyday Turner would come at 7 in the morning. He would notice Scarlet reading her book. After seeing him Scarlet would give a glare and take her book with her and leave.

Turner would have question marks around him by seeing this behavior and then he would continue reading where he left off.

In the entire week Turner finished all the books that were needed to pass the exam. Now even if he would have been made to give the exam again he would have scored 720/720.

He closed the book in front of him.

phew …finally ... I'll never forget this period – eat sleep study repeat…. Even saw books in my dreams ughh….

Well I still have a week left for classes to start. Should I start the next part of my plan ? Yes lets do it.

The next day.

Scarlet was reading in the library. She looked at the watch and it was 7:30 in the morning.

"huh why didn't that guy come today ? Well none of my business. Atleast I don't have to leave the library. That obnoxious guy just gets on my nerves every time I see him."

With this Scarlet continued reading in the library , but instead of reading her book, her thoughts were occupied with imagining how she would beat Turner , or how Turner would beg her to forgive him.....If thoughts could kill , Turner would have already died a lot of times.

Meanwhile Turner was travelling in the train.

oh the perks of being the student of this academy. 100% off on travelling by train. As it is I don't have much money . Its good its good.

Only if I could find it. Then my future course of action would be so much more easier. I have to eat it to make my body stronger else it'll be too tough to match the strength of Light , Scarlet and others. But the author had mentioned it just in passing. Will it really be there ? Well we will find out…
