Real Life

(A/N, I'm gonna skip the part where the girls are at the airport because I KNOW my brain is gonna get tired halfway through typing that scenario, so we're fast forwarding to when they get back to LA. OKAY?)

The girls had finally reached their home state. It felt good to finally be back, but at the same time they all missed everything about the vacation. I mean, what WASN'T there to miss? Bali was literally paradise, and you can't go against me on that one.

It was about 12:30am when the girls FINALLY left LAX, that place was crowded no matter what (COVID-19 has something to say about that though, doesn't it?). Emma, Val, Liv, and Maddy (omg I just realised Liv and Maddy, THAT WAS MY FAV SHOW.....sorry, back to the story) all jumped into the Uber they had waited for, for about twenty minutes while waiting outside in the humid and stuffy weather of Los Angeles.

Since it would be a long ride for the four, dropping each one at their own apartments, Maddy decided it'd be a good idea to nap. (p.s. do they all live together? I've genuinely forgotten and I cba to go check).

It only felt like ten minutes later when Maddy was shaken awake by Emma. Her eyes were a bit blurry so she wiped them and saw that both Valerie and Olivia weren't in the Uber anymore.

"Where'd they go?" Maddy groggily asked.

"Home, you dummy. And we're at ours." Emma said, gesturing to the apartment complex that was standing tall in the starry night.

Maddy blinked a few times and her and Emma thanked the Uber driver before getting her and Maddy's bags and heading back to their comfy home.

The two eventually reached their apartment and said their goodnights. Maddy walked into her room, not bothering to bring any of her bags in her room, shut her door and just crashed on her bed. The next thing she knew, the sun was up and shining through her blinds.

Maddy fluttered her eyes opened and felt that stinging pain as she looked straight into the sun.

"Fucks sake." She grumbled, slowly sitting up.

"Good morning princess." She heard a voice say.

Maddy looked up to see Emma standing in her pyjamas, with her hair up in a bun.

"Morning biatch." Maddy grinned, "wait....how are you up before me?" she asked.

"Check the time and you'll see why." Emma laughed before walking out of Maddy's room.

Maddy pulled out her phone that was still in her back pocket, not surprisingly, and found that it was exactly two in afternoon. Her jaw dropped to the floor, and her brows shot up.

"IT'S A NEW RECORD FOR YOU MADDS!" She heard Emma shout from the living room.

"I MEAN, YOU'RE NOT WRONG." Maddy laughed.

Maddy looked back at her phone and found a text notification. It was from David.

Dave🥰:

Hey Maddy, I hope all of you got home safe

Can't wait to see you tomorrow

[DELIVERED]

Maddy felt a blush hit her cheeks and she smiled to herself before typing a response.

Maddy smiled to herself and got up to get dressed for the day.
