Chapter 13.5: A Day in the Life of Takayuki

[Hello everyone, this is Bobmon/Haluo and as a request from some people. Today, we will be looking at a day in the life of Takayuki!]

[This is Takayuki Shin, a 19-year-old boy who lives in Japan with his parents at XXXXXX.]

[BEEP!] [BEEP!] [BEEP!]

[Oh? What's that? It looks like it's 8:00 AM now! Takayuki usually wakes up around this time, so let's not disturb him and watch his morning routine together.]

"W-what? Did I hear someone…?" muttered Takayuki, half asleep as he rose from his bed and rubbed his eyes.

Takayuki has short black hair and brown eyes. He is a handsome man with a beautiful face with a lean body. He is currently wearing his blue striped pyjamas.

"Urgh…" Takayuki grunted as he headed to the bathroom in his room to wash himself and brush his teeth. He also didn't hesitate to look himself in the mirror and did various expressions and poses in front of it.

"Oh yeah, baby! I'm HIM!" exclaimed Takayuki with confidence.

[Takayuki always likes to show off in front of the mirror and compliment himself, a tradition he adopted a few years ago. It helps him build his self-esteem and confidence, yet he also becomes arrogant.]

[Oh my! He is almost done, so let's step back before he finds us!]

"What…? Am I crazy? Why do I keep hearing someone…Oh well." Said Takayuki as she shrugged off his weird feelings and left the bathroom to dress himself. Today, he had something significant to do with his friend.

After being beautifully dressed, he left his room and entered the kitchen, where he saw his mother, who was ready to go.

"Food is ready, Takayuki! I put it on the table." Said Takayuki's mom as she was in a hurry.

[Let me explain! This is Takayuki's mother. She is a beautiful woman for her age and is currently leaving for work at the familial bakery with Takayuki's father. This family business started with Takayuki's grandfather, as his father inherited it.]

[As for where his father is? He has been at the bakery for a long time with some employees.]

"Thanks, Mom." Said Takayuki as he looked at the table with appreciation. His mother was an excellent cook, and he enjoyed her homemade food.

"You are dressed nicely today… Are you going to cause trouble today?" asked Mother Takayuki as she looked at her son suspiciously. She knew how bad her son could be, even more so with his friend.

"Oh, come on, Mom! It's not like that, trust me! I'm only hanging out with Kishitani," said Takayuki with a sigh as he dug in his breakfast.

"… That doesn't make me feel any better, you know. From your track records, you are always causing trouble with Kishitani…"

"Don't you trust me, my dear mother?"

His mother looked at him with a blank face. "That's right, I don't trust you at all."

"Ouch, that's hurt, Mother."

His mother let out a sigh before opening the door and leaving. "Well, you are an adult now… anyway if you cause more trouble, we'll simply ship you to the military like we said."

Takayuki looked alarmed by this declaration. "Mother! How can you send your only son to the military? Won't you miss me if I enter the military?"

She stared at Takayuki and silently left the house.

"Mother!? Mother!? My dear mother!!!" shouted Takayuki with some fear. He was too handsome and, with a face like him, wouldn't survive in such an intense place. Just thinking about it made him shudder.

He slumped on his chair and stared blankly at his half-eaten food. However, his phone suddenly vibrated on the table, and Takayuki saw a text message from Kishitani.

[Oh, it looks like Takayuki received a text message on his phone! I wonder who that is and if we can also witness their exchange… Of course, we can! Let me handle it!]

[Oh, it's Kishitani! Takayuki's best friend and crime partner. They are good friends who met at school, and Kishitani is not much better than Takayuki. They are both challenging and rebellious person.]

Kishin: Sup bro, wyd?

Taka: Not much, bro. I'm eating.

Kishin: Damn… She was so cute, tho… you should have sent her to me, and I could get her ez.

Taka: That's fucking cap

Taka: Anyway, meet me there.

Kishin: Sure, sure, boss o7

Takayuki put his phone away as he quickly finished eating breakfast and left his house to go to the station to meet Kishitani.

[Well, Takayuki is leaving the house to meet his friend. He usually takes the subway since he doesn't yet have his driver's license. So let's go to this station first and meet Takayuki there.]

"Kishin!" said Takayuki as he saw his friend exit the station.

"What's good, bro? And damn, you are looking for some girl, huh?" said Kishitani as he looked at the clothes of his friend.

Kishitani is a tall young man with blond hair wearing blue sunglasses. He was also as handsome as Takayuki. They both attracted the attention of many women near them and the envy of many men.

"Of course! I hadn't a girl for a very long time!" said Takayuki with a smug face as both started to walk.

"Oh yeah, did you see the news about those male IS?" asked Kishitani.

"Oh yeah? It's hard when the news or the internet keep blasting them." Said Takayuki thoughtfully.

"I really envy that Ichika dude man being the only male in a school full of girls…"

Kishitani sighed in envy. "Yeah, no kidding. If I were him, I would love to spend time with those girls. You know what makes me the most angry is that fucking Aruto dude."

"Fuck yeah, dude, that dumbass ran away when he could get those babes at his feet."

"Yeah, he is completely wasting god's gift… If only I were the one with this ability to move IS…" replied Takayuki with a lot of envy.

"Right? IS Academy is simply a paradise for us?" replied Kishitani.

Takayuki in his thought. "Maybe he is gay? Because I don't know how else a straight dude would miss this chance to get a beautiful harem."

Kishitani was surprised but felt like his friend was speaking facts. "Honestly, maybe you are right… No one would pass this offer and run away."

They finally arrived at a host club where they worked occasionally. It was a secret that they kept from their family as they both knew that their father would break their legs if they were to know about it.

[Now, usually, I would love to join them and record their adventure as a host, but unfortunately, I can't advance further, or some bad people would get me. So let's wait for their return.]

"I'm home…" said Takayuki as he entered his home from his work. He saw his father sitting in the living room and reading his newspaper while his mother cooked dinner.

"Welcome back, dear." Said his mother as she came to greet her son.

"So where were you, son?" asked Papa Takayuki as he looked at his son sharply.

Takayuki was caught off guard as he didn't expect an interrogation now." I was… huh.. working?"

Papa Takayuki continued to stare at Takayuki as he felt the cold sweat on his back, but fortunately, Mama Takayuki came to the rescue.

"Oh, come on, dear. You don't have to scare the child."

"Humph"

Mama Takayuki looked at Takayuki with some appreciation. Happy? Takayuki wasn't sure, but it felt excellent somehow.

"I didn't believe it when Grandma Tanaka called me at work, but I guess it was true. I'm really proud of you!" said Mama Takayuki as she returned to the kitchen, leaving a confused Takayuki.

'What is she talking about? Grandma Tanaka? That old bat?' thought Takayuki with some confusion but decided not to say anything to blow up his cover.

"She said you were good at making Takoyaki and attracted many people to the stall. She said you were charming~!"

"O-oh yeah! I learned a lot from grandma!" responded Takayuki with a stiff smile.

"Come on, go watch your hand before eating." Said Mama Takayuki. Papa Takayuki also helped as she brought a lot of food to the table.

"Right…" muttered Takayuki as he left the living room to wash his hands.

"Did she senile? How could I have been working at a Takoyaki shop? That's simply impossible… Oh well, I won't complain about it. At least it's a great cover for now."

As he finished cleaning his hands, the phone in his pocket buzzed. Takayuki took out his phone and saw a text message from Kishitani.

Kishin: DUDE! THAT'S NOT GOOD

Kishin: We are in deep shit!

Kishin: R u there?

Kishin: U need to see this shit!

Taka: ???

Taka: What's wrong with you, dude?

Kishin: [LINK]

Kishin: Those mfkers are daring! How dare they! Especially that backstabber bitch.

Taka: yo chill bro lemme look first.

Takayuki opened the link that Kishin sent him as he was brought to a thread on the forum.

His whole body trembled in fear, and his heart started to jump as he read the title.

Topic: The real Takayuki is a scumbag, and so are his friends

"FUCK" shouted Takayuki in anger as he read through the entire post. Who would have thought that his ex would cause this and that, Aruto? At least he finally knew why his mother thought he worked at the Takoyaki stall.

"This fucking bitch…" uttered Takayuki in rage as he was ready to fight back until his dad called him.

"Son, we need to talk." Shouted Papa Takayuki with an authoritative tone that made Takayuki flinch in fear.

He usually used this tone when he fucked shit up. Takayuki swallowed his saliva in fear. As he made his way to the kitchen, he saw his father's serious face and his mother's disappointed face.

'There is no way, right? They didn't see that, right?'

Papa Takayuki sharply stared at Takayuki's eyes as the latter evaded his eyes.

Papa Takayuki let out a sigh as Takayuki thought he somehow felt older.

"My colleague brought to my attention a post currently trending on the forum…"

Takayuki's heart dropped at this simple moment.

"Did you do it?"

"I-I-I…" Takayuki stuttered and went silent.

"Tomorrow morning, you are going to the military. Your uncle will take care of you until then, and I hope you will change for the better."

Takayuki's eyes popped at the decision made by his father as he looked at his mother, but unfortunately, she was evading all eye contact with him.

Takayuki suddenly felt tired as he nodded to his father and left for his room.

[And just like that, Takayuki and his friend's scandal became very famous on the internet as many victims emerged. Takayuki would then enter the military for a few years and disappear in the eyes of the public from now on.]
