William felt his blood boil somewhat when the System explained the situation to him. Thinking about how many reckless activities he engaged in previously, William realized that he was almost always placing the System's life at risk.
It was weird to think, that such a powerful being could be at the mercy of a weak human like himself, but it also tacked on a bit of responsibility to William's shoulders.
I'm not just fighting for myself, I'm fighting for the System, Efretta, and even the citizens of Reius. How long has it been this way? How long have I been treating this like a game when it's much much more than that.
This just proves that no matter how strong someone is, there's always a weakness. There's always someone stronger. Nine other Hosts were captured or killed before me, which implies that even the System won't be able to protect me forever.
