Chapter 69 Be Careful

So he decided not to do anything about it for the time being and he decided that it was best for him to watch her for the rest of the day.

He continued to keep his eye on her and for the rest of the day she played the part of the good girl. She was nice to everyone and was extra kind to Gloria.

Gloria was still adjusting to being the new leader and even when she told Tina what to do and tried to boss her around Tina didn't say anything in protest and didn't make any harsh comments to her about it. 

Tina was obedient and she was king to. All of the students and she even apologized when one of the students accidentally ;stepped on her foot.

It was strange to see her that way and Dick hadn't expected her to act that way. The students had managed to put together a fire and had gathered some of the root vegetables around. "okay so who is going to do the cooking. . we should at least have a small team." Gloria said to the other students.

The students were hesitant as they didn't realty want to do it. "I will dso it." Tina said suddenly as she raised her hand up in the air and she offered them a small smile. Glorias looked towards her with uncertainty.

"Are you sure about that. You don't have to di t and if you do you know that we can get someone to help you out." Gloria said to her as she tried to convince Tina. However Tina didn't listen to her as she shook her head at her in response.

 "No it is fine. I want to do it to you as an apology. I will do it by myself. I love coming and I love taking care of everyone else." She said to them. Gloria wasn't sure how to response to that and she was surprised by Tina's new attitude however she shrugged her shoulders at her in response allowing her to go through with it.

Tina spent over two hours coming for the entire. Class. She didn't complain or throw a fit as she put the food together. She didn't even flinch when she got a cut on her finger or when she got herself accidentally burnt.

Once she was done everyone had expected that she would walk away however she didn't. "Tina truly thank you for doing the cooking but you don't have to worry about serving the food. It is perfectly fine we can do that and you don't have to worry about that." 

Gloria said to her but it seemed as though Tina wasn't even listening to her. She watched instead as she began to pull out several bowls and began to serve the plates of the others that were around.

She prepared bowls for everyone around and she offered them bowls of the soup. she served herself last and even offered Dick a smile as she offered him in his bowl.

Dick looked down towards the bowl of soup and he was weary about it initially. He didn't know how to react hut he felt as though something was fishy and as though she had poisoned it.

 He wouldn't put it past her as he knew that this act that she had going on wasn't going to lasty long. He would rather keep his eye on her for now.

He watched Gloria carefully as she took a sip and she moaned loudly. "Okay Tina this was very delicious. Thank you for the food." Gloria said to her. 

The other students nodded their heads at her in agreement agreeing to her statement.

The students were shocked that Tina had been willing to cook them dinner. 

They didn't even know that she knew how to cook and form the way that she was used to treating them they didn't think that she would be willing to do something like this for them.

Dick however was growing more and more worried about Tina with each minute that passed. 

Her behavior was anything but normal and he could tell that she was trying very hard to ensure that the students believed that she truly had changed and that she was a better person now.

He looked down towards the bowl of food and he noticed how the others had finished up there bowls. He wasn't going to eat it at first but then he felt his stomach growl and he also registered the fact that maybe she had poisoned it.

He realized that maybe she had poisoned it and so it would be good for him to test it to see if she had added something to the meal.

He took a small mouthful of the soup into his mouth and tried to see if he could detect anything strange in it but much to his surprise he couldn't detect anything.

He had to admit that it even tasted good. He didn't know how to feel about that and it only frustrated him further to know the fact that he still hadn't been able to figure out her plan yet and he didn't know what her intentions were for them.

He knew that she wasn't going to let anything stand and he still had to keep himself alert. The others may have fallen for her antics but he wasn't going to be that foolish and fall for her antics so easily.

"How is the soup?" Gloria asked him as he watched her tilt the bowl backwards and empty the contents down her throat.

"I think I am fine. I don't know what is up with her but something isn't quite adding up." He said to her. Gloria looked towards him with a raised eyebrow as she couldn't help but wonder why he would think that.

"I think that you are just over reacting. She already apologized. And she seems to have changed a new leaf so how about we just give her another chance." She said to him with a shrug of her shoulders as though it was that simple for them to move on.

"Do you really think that she would have simply decided to let us win and that she would simply move on from what happened." Her asked her as he gritted his teeth. She seemed to think over it for a moment before letting out a sigh.

"I mean on a normal day that would sound outrageous but think about it. If you were the one that got raped by a group of goblins I am sure that you would want to find a way for you to move on from everything and wouldn't want to live with what happened. I mean even if she wanted to get revenge on what happened how would she know that you had anything to do with it and she knows that she isn't invincible." She said to him.

He shook his head knowing that her words did make a sense but when it came to Tina he knew that he couldn't put it past her. "I know that but still it is best for me to be careful. I will not let something like that slide so easily." He said to her.
