Incubus Lord: I Summoned My Lustful Wives

The Empire's forces retreated in desperation—trampled by faceless horrors bringing darkness and death to these once beautiful lands. Only the most courageous stood in defiance, forming a last defence to buy the people time to flee—fighting until the final embers of hope burned out. A man stands with a silver sword, like a beacon of hope to those around him. He roared with all his might drawing his blade against the overwhelming enemy! "You face Lancelot, Sword of the Empire! " These horrors tested the Lord's grit and loyalty in the final moments. "Should my blade break, I will use my body!" The knights had fallen, broken swords for their tombstones, and lords fled, betraying the Empire to survive. "If my body breaks, I'll use my Soul!" Lancelot, the sword of the Empire, fought alone. All hope seemed lost. "And if my Soul fails..." What could a single man and his army do? He fights against the dark tide, blade in hand, heart on sleeve. "I will sell myself to the devil for revenge!" But he was too weak, too fragile. The last Lord of humanity stood against the enemy. Lancelot was a master of the sword, a mortal, neither a God nor a Saint. Miracles were beyond his reach. Now only a broken man impaled on his own destroyed throne. His blade shattered—now, like rose petals, it was scattered across the charred ground. Lancelot's soul was fated for the abyss as the light faded from his eyes. His last ounce of resistance used staring at the man who betrayed the Empire. Now with only the desire to kill, crush and seek revenge smouldering inside him. Now unwilling to die and desperate to fight once again. He desired to fight for the people who supported him. Lancelot refused to surrender, to fall like this. As quietly in the abyss, a voice whispered to him. It tried to entice the Lord, ignite his desire to win and fight again. "If given a second chance, to relive your life with a different choice... Would you Accept?" Blood gathered in his throat, forcing him to reply in his mind. A frail and broken voice 'There is no reason to ask, of course!' "No matter the cost?" 'Even if I were to lose everything...' 'If my people can live on. I would sacrifice everything I have!' "You will no longer be the same, a monster, twisted and vicious." "Will you still accept?" The Lord's heart ached, taking great pride in his humanity. To lose that caused his mind to falter. Finally, out of power, unable to speak or reply with a trembling arm. Lancelot reached out. Towards the raspy voice. Towards the abyss. Towards a new future. [So you would accept after all...] 'I must accept.' 'I must stand tall.' 'I must not break.' 'Because...' 'I am the Lord of humanity! [Nay, you are the king of demons] -------------- Release @ 22:30 (GMT+1)

Chapter 6: Lancelot du Lac [1]

[To the left!]

Lancelot's right arm thrust towards his left, the sharp point stabbing the arachnid's eye with a loud pop before disgusting blue juices burst everywhere.

'Good girl.' He complimented Morgana.

His body moved like the flowing tides, dodging a pincer, using the back of his left blade to parry the fierce lunge of another's sharp tail.

He could feel himself becoming one with the air and his swords.

A serene face that seemed stressed and pressured slowly began to form a faint smile, his eyes narrow and relaxed as if flirting with a maiden.

Clang!

His exceedingly graceful expertise slowly carved the strong carapace of the enemies.

[Lancelot School of Dual Swordsmanship - Rank 1 -> 2]

[Irregular Parry/Guard -> Irregular Defence - Rank 2]

'It feels nice; my old wounds are gone. I have no burdens to feel.'

'Simply dancing with my swords, culling the enemy!'

[You seem so happy and captivating when you wield those swords.]

Lancelot was fighting three of the basic scorpion-type Arachne that were present in the dungeon.

'Then try not to fall in love with me.'

Morgana's body lifted from his shoulders, her golden eyes watching him with amusement.

A man she chose in a moment of despair, yet he was so amusing and beyond her initial thoughts.

[(To think you didn't revert to a stupid teen again, or wallow in self loathing.)]

[How much do you love the sword!?]

Clang!

Once more, his body twirled like a tornado, the whirlwind slash now used for offence and defensive manoeuvres.

Lancelot didn't reply to her voice; instead, his swords began to vibrate.

Like they were singing out in joy.

Whether it was his touch, the gentle movements of his fingers, or the stylish way he flicked his wrist to divert the brunt of the damage away from the blades.

'I love the sword more than life itself.'

'And the sword loves me!'

Morgana smiled as she lifted her hands, weakening the enemies, using her charm to keep them stunned and dazed in a rotation.

She wanted to use her Mesmerise, but Lancelot asked her to allow him this time to adjust himself, to change his swordplay to suit his new body and its high specs.

Woosh!

Another sharp leg slashed across his face, forcing Lancelot to jump backwards, twisting in the air before landing with unsteady feet.

He took several steps to adjust.

"My power is much higher, agility nearly doubled..." He mumbled.

Before switching his swords, the sharp pointed blade held in his left, the wide curved blade in his right hand.

"A slash gains more from strength, stab from finesse..."

Boom!

Morgana gasped at his movement.

At the last moment before, the arachnid's foot slammed down and penetrated his chest.

His body lunged forward.

The curved blade slid across its sleek black leg with brilliant sparks before his body rotated in a full circle, decapitating the scorpion's head with a brutal slash and stab.

'Morgana, burn them with your Shadow Flare, then mesmerise the large red arachnid approaching from the northwest.'

[!!!]

Before she could even protest, her hands began to glow with a black flame, spiralling as if in rhythm with Lancelot's dancing body.

Her flame exploded from her hands like a flamethrower, burning down the two heavily injured Arachnids and melting their bodies into dust.

A succubi's flame damaged the soul directly with low body damage.

When she turned to the northwest, two huge scorpions appeared.

One red, the other blue.

Morgana followed his command despite being slightly annoyed, but she couldn't stop the strange throbbing of her heart when his deep voice ordered her around with such confidence.

[(An experienced man is great!)]

"Phew... Haa...Haa... Stamina is still good after two battles." Lancelot whispered to himself the two huge scorpions were the mid-bosses before he could clear the trial.

'If I didn't have my improved body, memories, and skills, the basic scorpions would kill me.'

'Even now, I have so much to learn...'

'It thrills me that my limit isn't here!'

He began to stretch his muscles, waiting for the essence of the dead scorpions to start entering his body.

'Get them to fight, but don't injure blue scorpion. I want to test my limits.'

[...]

'Also, great work Morgana; I am glad you are my summoned commander.'

[!!!]

Her beautiful golden eyes shone with a mysterious light, the dark sclera enchanting as the red scorpion was fascinated for several moments.

The pair were charging towards Morgana and Lancelot, their heavy feet clanging against the ground as the sharp tips dug into the soil.

Lancelot didn't worry she would fail; he had trusted mere goblins.

Why doubt his queen?

As he believed, the red scorpion's body stopped moving momentarily before its stinger and pincers grabbed the blue scorpion.

Suddenly the strange light began to pour into his body, causing him to let out a pleasant sigh.

Now he wasn't letting his past self affect him; there was no embarrassing moan, but the pleasant feeling of his body improving was divine.

He felt the sound of two huge scorpions clashing in the background was a wonderful soundtrack to his first level-up in this life.

'I will reach the top, then surpass even that!'

->Experience: 100% [LEVEL UP!]

->Summon Drive: 75%

His body began to crack and make strange sounds as his veins filled with surging blood, muscles writhing as they improved.

Normal people would gain anything from at most 1-2 attributes in total improvements with each level, and the elite would gain a total of 3-4 at most.

'Arthur gains 5, which is split between 5 attributes. I have to match that... Please...'

[(My little baby doesn't want to lose?)]

[(Fine.)]

[(I was going to use this as a bargaining chip later...)]

Morgana's lips puckered as she kissed the wind with a pink lipstick mark landing on his chest.

'Eh? 7? I gained 7 points!?'

A huge explosion of light filled their bodies as Morgana finished her level-up.

Although it was nothing special, her control over the red scorpion became easier, and her body seemed to mature slightly.
