CHAPTER 26: QUIET TYPE

"Jaden Kai" she almost exclaimed, ' wasn't he the guy whom Sophie and that girl Mariam was talking about the other day?' the same guy who had almost caused a commotion on campus just because of his resumption the very day she resumed, ' wasn't he the one?'

"Oh my God" Alicia gasped,and it was then everything began to flood into her head,as though she had lost her memory before, yes,she remembered the red car from last night and that it was the same in which she had seen on the very first day of school, it's no wonder his name rang a bell in the first place.

'Woah' her mind screamed as she took slow steps up the stairs, was he really the Jaden Kai all the girls on Campus were talking about and crushing on?,a guy whom literaly all the girls in Montgomery were married to unknown to the Jaden himself,It's no wonder the girls were going crazy for him,his looks were more than worth it.

Alicia's cheeks turned into a deeper shade of red as she remembered how he'd indirectly complimennted her beauty back at MacDonald's.

Alicia finally arrived at her room all smiles and as she opened the door,she met with Sophie and Tammy watching a home video on Tammy's Laptop,using Sophie's Netflix login.

"Hey Alicia" they both greeted looking excited to see her

"Hey guys" she greeted back and after they exchanged greetings, Alicia after inspecting the whole load of provisions Jaden had gotten for her decided to share some with her roomies,she was so sure that she wouldn't be able to finish these alone even in a month not to talk of the fact that she already had her little provisions.

As Alicia gave out the Provisions to Sophie and Tammy who accepted them with open hands, she was busy thinking if she was just lucky or something,few days back she had just few provisions and few dollars for the month and that day Ryan had gotten her lunch and dinner and today she had received a whole pack of provisions that could last her for more than a month,such expensive provisions she thought as she looked at them,she couldn't thank God enough.

On the other hand ,Tammy and Sophie were overwhelmed with the Provisions Alicia had gifted them to the extent that they began to think she was from one hell of a rich family to give away such provisions.

Anyways,they thanked and appreciated her and the bond between them became even stronger as in just a couple of days they had began to act like real biological sisters who genuinely loved each other.

Soon,it was 6:30pm and Alicia had gone to the utility room to make dinner for herself and since she wasn't that hungry,she decided to go for some of the Budak noodles from the provision pack Jaden had gotten her,she had heard of the noodles many a time and wanted to try it but couldn't as at that time.

The evening lights had come on around 6:00pm hence Alicia was able to go up and cook her food herself without the help of Tammy or Sophie,she was already getting used to the place and besides,the hallway was bustling with girls talking,cooking and trying to take their evening baths.

Alicia returned to the room with her food and began to eat,the three had just agreed to watch the latest season of 'Jeepers Creeper's

and they were excited about it but then they decided to let Alicia have her dinner first since it was a horror movie,they wouldn't want her choking out of fear or suspense.

As soon as Alicia was done,they started the movie, screaming at times and holding themselves in fear but never turned it off,this they did until late in the night wherein the three dozed off on the floor.

Two days later,

Alicia had a morning class of 8:00am till 10:30am after which Jaden invited her to come have lunch with him again and this time, Alicia felt quite free and relaxed and didn't even get scared when he drove her to another restaurant far from the school.

In their time together as they had lunch again, Alicia noticed that Jaden was the extremely cool and quiet type who could go a day without saying anything,he was the type who would rather let his eyes do most of the talking and he also seemed to be a very smart and calculative person, he was a study of quiet grace,his presence was like a still pool of water,calm and reflective,his movements effortless and refined,he was the true definition of gracefulness.

The first impression Alicia had actually had of Jaden was that he was quite rude but then in the second day of their outing, Alicia noticed that despite him not being the talkative type as she was sometimes,he had gently answered all the random questions she asked him and even though he felt like he would die from the few questions she asked him,he dared not show it on his face.

As they discussed, Alicia could at times see a hint of mischief playing in his eyes as he looked at her,and his expressions and smirks always looked like he was about to turn naughty.

All the while,as they talked, Alicia was busy trying to spot and find out what was different about him today that made him look even more devilishly handsome than the day before,she narrowed her eyes on his art like face and accessed him better and that was when she noticed the Cartier gold rings on his ears and Alicia became very careful not to drool,ear rings had never looked better on any soul in earth and despite the fact that he was putting on a thick long sleeved black sweat shirt and a black handglove on his left hand perfectly concealing his tattoos,he still looked like the god of seduction that he truly was.
