CHAPTER 18: LECTURES

By the time Alicia woke up,the clock had just hit one in the afternoon, the lights and fan were still on and both Sophie and Tammy where no longer in the room. Alicia focused on her body and she knew she felt better but was very hungry now as her stomach grumbles reached her ears.

Just then Tammy walked in and Alicia was quick to ask for direction to the utility room which Tammy agreed to show her.

Taking a spaghetti pack out of her provision bag and some ingredients and spices Alicia followed Tammy up to the next floor to prepare her seemingly delayed breakfast, upon getting to the kitchen,to Alicia's surprise it was far better than what she had imagined, the kitchen utensils were all new and clean and so was the tiles on the floor,the kitchen wasn't that big though but it was portable, beautiful and neat just like modern day kitchens.

As Alicia cooked Tammy assisted and they both made the food and because of Alicia's exceptional cooking skills Tammy couldn't help but salivate and offer to dish herself some in which Alicia agreed to, by the time they were done cooking they cleaned and locked up the kitchen before heading back to their room.

Sophie wasn't back yet from the opposite room as she'd gone to chat with her friends in the room opposite theirs. As the two ate, Tammy brought out her laptop and she put a funny movie in which they watched togerher until 3 in the afternoon wherein Tammy had a class.

Leaving the laptop for Alicia, Tammy got dressed and headed straight for her class and did not return until 7:00 in the evening and by the time she returned Sophie was already back in the room.

The three roommates then had a lovely chat as they got to know themselves better til late in the night at around 11:pm when the lights went off and that was when they finally went to bed.

The next morning Alicia quickly took her bath , hurriedly ate her breakfast which was flakes and got dressed as she had a class of 7:00 a.m. she dressed up wearing a white sweatshirt and a mini pink fled skirt with white sneakers and socks, she styled her wavy hair before putting on transparent sophisticated glasses that made her look even more enchanting.

Alicia looked at the venue for her class that morning and she had no idea of where it was but luckily, Sophie also happened to have a 7:00 am class too and so she decided to walk Alicia to her class before she herself headed to hers.

Alicia looked at her time and it was just 7 minutes to 7:00 a.m. well, she wasn't late. Taking a deep breath, her beautiful self entered the narrow class to meet students scattered everywhere just like yesterday engaging into conversations laughing and gisting with themselves.

Alicia swallowed as her eyes began to search the crowd for Nikki and her friends, well gladly she didn't have to look too much as they had already found her before she found them, they happily waved at her indicating for her to come sit with them.

Alicia smiled before she moved to go join them,however as she walked she had already become the center of attraction to a group of seven boys whose eyes smoldered over her seductively as she walked by,even though she had passed by them already their shimmering eyes still followed.

Alicia reached Nikki and her friends and they exchanged greetings before they engaged into a small conversation ,after about 10 minutes the lecturer arrived and lectures immediately commenced as the once rowdy and noisy Hall became calm and quiet to listen to the teacher.

Alicia paid full attention to the lecturer and even jotted down so many things.

About 10:15 a.m. the class came to an end and the lecturer was quick to leave the hall, as soon as the lecturer left many other students followed but some students stayed behind to chat and Alicia, Nikkie and her friends happened to be one of them.

Since they all had breakfast before class this morning , the figured they could stay a bit longer since they wouldn't have anything doing for the rest of the day and thus they stayed and chatted for three more hours and that three hours alone was enough to get to know themselves better.

By the time it was 1:00 p.m. they all-headed out of the hall back to their hostels bidding themselves goodbye,they had to go rest now.

Alicia came outside as she walked slowly enjoying the mild heat of the sun on her body as she proceeded to work towards her hostel when suddenly her phone rang, she looked up to see the callerr ID, it was Ryan hence she quickly picked .

About 2 minutes later the call ended and a mischievous smile crept on Alicia's lips as her mind reasoned 'free lunch and free dinner'. Ryan had just invited her to come over to have lunch with him at that same restaurant which they had met which was just about 5 minutes walk from where she was,he had offered to come pick her up but she declined claiming she was already closeby.

Alicia had a little bit of difficulty locating the place but she finally did because of its name which was written at the back of her head, as she got closer to the restaurant she looked up to see Ryan leaning on his car, his legs crossed as he hitted on his phone waiting for her.

"Hi " Alicia said waving her hands as she got closer

Ryan raised his head and smiled at the beauty in pink and white approaching him, she looked even more beautiful than he could remember " Hey there Alicia,good afternoon" he greeted.

Alicia replied and they both moved into the restaurant and Ryan ordered a sumptuous meal for the both of them and as they ate ,they discussed,with Ryan asking most of the questions,this they did until in evening, it was greatly noticeable that Ryan admired Alicia so much,it was evident from the way he looked and smiled at her.

Well at exactly 4:35 p.m. they finally parted ways with Ryan getting her a packed dinner he also offered to drop her off at the hostel but once again Alicia refused as she didn't want to go back to the hostel just yet especially since she'd gotten lunch and was with her dinner.

Alicia waved at Ryan as she watced him get into his car and zoom off,how she wished she had an elder brother like him, he was so jovial.
