Selfish Desire

After dining in Valentino's Mansion, Nicholas went to his car to go home. Nicholas was in his Royal Royce, while his close man occupied the front seat along with the driver. There were two land cruisers in black, were behind Nicholas's car.

On the way, his close man finally speaks up about the information he gets, which he hides after seeing Valentino's presence in the dining room " Sir!!...from our spies, I get to know that Jaison is planning something very odious."Nicholas listened to his words and said "what's this time!!"

"He's holding a meeting where he calls some of the mafias of the town and people who illegally ship weapons to other countries and ...he is thinking of calling you too" the man vocalized

Nicholas smirked while thinking about something and then he sighed "You know!...in this world everything changes with time. Life is full of such twists and turns where..." suddenly his phone rang which get his attention.

"cupcake" Nicholas read the name and recognize the number as her daughter's number, he attended the call and said, "yes princess! by the way, I have a piece of good news for you, I know it will probably bring a bright smile to your beautiful face". A girl's voice comes out from the other side " DAD!!" she says in an annoying voice, "THESE JERKS! ARE NOT LETTING ME GO TO MY FRIEND'S PARTY'Angelina shouted

"I have forbidden your bodyguards not to let you go anywhere after 11 at night!!" Nicholas accused.

"But dad why!! how many times do I need to apologize for that!!!! she insisted

"Angelina you had crossed the limits, thank God that Bobs was there to save you when you were drunk and driving so fast" he raged

"for God's sake dad..." She was about to argue more but his dad shut her up by saying " we need to talk about an important matter instead of this...lemme reach first!!" he cut the call off after addressing his statement to her.

*Time skipped at Nicholas's Vila*

Nicholas and his daughter Angelina were in the living room along with a few servants standing there.

Nicholas: He wants you to be married to Aiden! Angelina's eyes sparkled as soon he mentioned "married to Aiden"

Angelina: Dad!! huh!!... do you even know what you are saying? (she was instantly overjoyed as if a dream had come true) Really!! I_I can't believe that ...Dad!...please tell me, what did you answer him????

Nicholas: I told him that I would be glad if it happens. And now it's up to you, you must have to make him fall for you.

Angelina: You don't need to worry...I love him!! and I will make sure to make him feel the same. (She says with high confidence)

Nicholas: Whatever...this marriage would be very beneficial for us. Just once we have a relationship with them!!... you don't have an idea how much our power will increase!!!.

Aiden has been in her heart since Angelina was just 14 years but she never got a chance to express her feelings toward him. Whenever she thought to confess, the fear of rejection stopped her, but this time, something else prevented her from contemplating that. At that moment, somehow making Aiden her own was racing through her mind. When her ears heard from her father about marrying Aiden, she felt that much ecstatic that she didn't think about the advantage even for a second.

But no one thought of Aiden does he want the same or not? neither His father nor Nicholas nor Angelina.

Ethan POV~

After receiving all the information about the girl that Aiden met a few days ago. I made my way toward his office.

When I entered the room, I saw him sitting on the couch while he was smoking. His face was facing the ceiling and he was staring at the wall without blinking like he is lost in a world that doesn't exist.

I fakely coughed that help him to snap out of his thoughtful scenarios. I hand over to him the file that I was holding, "This file contains all the information about Emma" I uttered. He took the file and opened it, his eyes lit up, and he started reading it loud.

Aiden complimented" So she is 25...one year younger than me huh!! her parents are dead and were raised by her Aunt...poor girl!! recently working in Skyline Company as an employee...self-made girl!! Made the highest score in college and even wins a gold medal.....wow!intelligent girl! learn something from her Ethan!! she lives on 14th flour and her apartment number is 33..." he smirked and continue reading it.

My gaze was stuck on him and barely recognized this version of Aiden that he never showed to anyone, not even me. We both know each other since childhood but I know that he had never done such actions even in childhood as he was doing now like he is still a teenager.

I was trapped in my thoughts but soon come to reality when he exclaimed "Get the cars out!!..we have to go somewhere!!!!!!"

To be honest I was confused at first that where would he need to go when there is nothing to do now but it doesn't take time for me to realize after watching his face dripping with jubilation. His intuitions were to see her one more time and he is just finding a way to make excuses, I don't know how should I express it! Should I be worried about him? or do I want to be happy in his happiness? or should I stop him from drowning? POV ended

Ethan went out of his cabin while Aiden get a call from an unknown number. He thought that it would be one of the enemy's phone numbers, the bell was constantly running. Aiden attended the call and with a deep husky voice, he said "Who is there?". His voice was enough to send shivers to the other person but unexpectedly, the call dropped by the person who called after listening to his words.

Aiden felt strange, he was disgusted by this. He checked the caller ID as he took it from a negative point of view and precaution but didn't get any evidence regarding his consideration.
