This noon, both Russell and Diana skipped lunch.

At times like these, who needs lunch anyway?

It wasn't until evening, after they had indulged in an not-so-serious bath together in the bathroom, that Russell and Diana finally concluded their mutual solace.

Manhattan.

A Family restaurant named "Thousand Flavors."

Russell and Diana were enjoying an authentic family dinner, replenishing the energy they had expended.

Even though both of them possessed extraordinary physiques, having an extraordinary physique didn't mean they wouldn't get tired, especially after their intense interactions using their extraordinary abilities.

At the airport, Russell felt that Diana seemed a bit different from before. However, after their interactions this afternoon, he finally realized why.

The reason was simple: they had been apart for a considerable amount of time this time.

For people who used to meet every day, suddenly being apart for over a month inevitably led to an inexplicable sense of unfamiliarity.

However, this feeling of unfamiliarity quickly faded.

Diana was still the same Diana as before, without any changes.

After finishing dinner, Russell and Diana didn't immediately return to their apartment. Instead, they took a leisurely stroll along the Hudson River waterfront.

Diana was now wearing jeans that accentuated her beautiful leg curves and a slightly fitted casual jacket that showcased her wonderful figure.

Diana didn't look as regal as in the morning, but the quality of her character wasn't dictated by her clothes.

As Russell and Diana walked along the riverbank, Diana's outstanding presence, looks, and figure still attracted the attention of many passersby.

Ignoring the gazes of the onlookers, Diana turned to Russell and said in a soft voice, "Do you need my help with your arms company and laboratory?"

"No need, I can handle it myself. Besides, I prefer you in your role at the museum!"

Russell replied with a smile.

Indeed, Diana's involvement would accelerate the development of both his arms company and laboratory. However, he didn't intend to go down that path.

Diana wanted an ordinary life, and Russell hoped she could live the way she wanted, not doing things she didn't like just because of him.

"Well, if you need it, you can tell me anytime. You know I can do much more than just these things."

"Yeah, I know!"

Honestly, having someone as beautiful, well-proportioned, and unconditionally supportive and trusting as Diana was beyond great.

As Russell contemplated whether he had saved the entire universe in his previous life to deserve a perfect girlfriend like Diana in this one, Diana suddenly changed the topic.

"Was that Superhero Serum appearance intentional?"

Diana stopped walking, turned to Russell, and raised an eyebrow.

Uh...

"Well, um... there was a tiny bit of intention behind that."

Russell's brain was working overtime now.

Although he had been contemplating how to explain the situation with Gwen to Diana since the day he first interacted with her, it turned out that no matter how many scenarios he simulated in his mind, when Diana actually stood in front of him asking about it, he felt an indescribable pressure.

After reviewing the situation in his mind several times and confirming that the Sword of Hephaestus and Lasso of Truth were safely stored in the closet, Russell took a deep breath and continued, "I've had a few interactions with Spider-Woman."

Though his words were delicately phrased, Diana instantly grasped his meaning.

After living together for so long, if Diana couldn't pick up on that, she'd be a bit too obtuse.

"Bringing her home?" Diana said slowly.

"No! Absolutely not! I can swear to that on my life!"

Russell stated firmly.

"Then why are you so nervous?"

A look of confusion appeared on Diana's graceful face.

However, before Russell could answer, she guessed what he meant.

The tender Diana who had emanated gentleness all over her body a moment ago transformed back into the domineering Amazonian.

Staring at Russell, who was unintentionally swallowing hard, she said seriously, "You can rest easy, I would never share a bed with another woman!"

Hearing Diana's words, Russell was momentarily stunned.

Wait a minute!

I wasn't trying to say that!

Although the statement Diana made was entirely different from what he had thought in his mind, upon closer inspection, that image didn't seem too bad either.

Wonder Woman and Spider-Woman together...

Russell's mind began to wander.

But thoughts aside, his survival instinct wasn't offline yet.

"No, you misunderstood. I didn't mean that!"

"I meant that I might have some legitimate interactions with her in the future."

"I want to form a team and need to recruit people with special abilities. She's a good candidate."

"If you're okay with it, I'd like to recruit her!"

If he were merely having friendly matches with Gwen, Russell wouldn't need to explain the situation to Diana at all. He often ate fast food outside, something Diana was well aware of. Otherwise, they wouldn't have established the household rule of never bringing fast food home.

When he was devising his superhero rebranding plan, he had the idea of forming his own team.

After going through the data on the Thunderbolts Task Force sent by General Ross, his determination only grew stronger.

He had nearly assembled his overt forces at the moment.

Octopus Monster Arms Company and Laboratory were soon to be fully stabilized and on the right track.

At this juncture, he felt he could consider forming a team.

Though Earth was relatively peaceful now, it was largely due to the fact that all sorts of supernatural beings hadn't appeared yet.

With the way things were developing, it wouldn't be long before aliens and otherworldly beings emerged.

Although Russell didn't have grand ambitions of saving the Earth, he also didn't want his good life to be disrupted by some other planetary life form or purple sweet potato-head.

"You want to form a superhero team?"

Diana fell silent for a few seconds before continuing.

"It might not necessarily be a superhero team."

Even though Russell was playing the role of a superhero due to the serum, he didn't genuinely believe he was one.

"Since you have that intention, I support you!"

"However, I have two conditions."

Diana spoke earnestly.

"No problem, what are the two conditions?"

Russell didn't hesitate at all and asked directly.

"First, I want to join your team as well."

Although this deviated from his original plan, Russell didn't decline. He nodded and agreed. He didn't want Diana to give up the ordinary life she longed for just because of him.

But since Diana brought it up, he wouldn't reject it either.

Whatever Diana wanted, he would support, just like she trusted and supported him.

"Second, I get to name this team!"

"What name?"

"Justice League!"
