A string of misdemeanours

"…And what have I been telling you since it was announced?" Ren asked Emma ass he squinted her eyes slightly and looked at her with a completely unconcealed look of disbelief clear on her features.

"Not to forget that it was coming up…" Replied Emma before she averted her eyes from Ren's face with a slight look of shame as she felt her face heat up slightly.

"No, no, it's okay, I've only been reminding you like all week but you know..." Replied Ren as she rolled her eyes and let out a sigh, she knew her friend was an airhead, but sometimes her airheadedness still managed to surprise her, albeit only slightly.

"Yeah, I know..." Said Emma with a sigh, suddenly a thought struck her and she stopped breathing momentarily as she proceeded to bang her head onto the table somewhat gently.
