As Chen was preparing to end the day and go to his wife to spend the night, a figure appeared in front of him.

Chen was surprised to see him but after sensing no killing intent, he asked," Who are you?"

"My apologies, Patriarch Hanyu, I appeared like this and did not introduce myself. My name is Shanyu and I am from the Crimson Cloud Sect." Arata came out of the shadows and gave his introductions.

Hearing about Arata's identity, Chen also gave his introductions and finally asked why Arata was here at night.

"I am here because I heard the Hanyu family is holding a competition tomorrow. I hope to take someone talented back with me." Arata answered Chen.

'Finally, my Raoul is getting a chance. He has a rare rank root for cultivation. The Crimson Cloud will take him in.' Chen thought as he said," Yes, you are welcome to sit with this person tomorrow during the tournament."

Arata nodded and walked down the stairs of the inn.

Arata did not answer and just put some vegetables and meat on Maya's plate.

-The next day, the Hanyu family tournament-

The tournament was about to start.

Before the tournament, Chen Hanyu stood up and welcomed everyone from different families.

Finally, the last to come was Arata.

"It looks like I am late Patriarch Hanyu," Arata said though he did not care.

"It is alright Lord Shanyu, the tournament has not begun," Chen answered and brought Arata to a seat right beside his.

As things proceeded, finally only Chen's speech was left before the tournament.

Chen gave his speech and finally the tournament.

The first three rounds were boring, so Arata decided to take a nap.

When he woke from his 'short' nap of 2 hours, it was time for the final match between Raoul and Sonje to begin.
