“We can,” Zoran replied. “I’ve amassed a fair amount of money over my extended lifetime. Certainly enough to buy this house, with plenty to spare.
“Then let’s do it.” Scott tapped the Contact Agentbox on the screen.

If Craig and Kevan had been aware of what was happening in Scott’s life, they might have laughed at the synchronicity.
“I know it’s fast, but maybe we should consider moving in together,” Kevan said Friday night, two weeks after Craig’s birthday.
“I was thinking the same thing,” Craig replied, pausing to stir the spaghetti sauce he was preparing for dinner, in Kevan’s kitchen. “Commuting is so overrated.”
“No kidding. Would you be willing to live here, or should we look for a new house?”
“Here, of course. It belongs to you and it’s big enough for both of us. God only knows we’ve proven that.” The truth, since half of Craig’s clothing was already in the closet in Kevan’s bedroom, and in one of the drawers in the dresser.
